I’m creating a certification has expired notification and there are two shortcodes I don’t know: [cert_item_name] [cert_item_type]Where is the data taken from? How is the [cert_item_name] different from [cert_title]?I want to see if I can use these shortcodes to add a name of the team that learners can send questions to regarding a specific certification. This would help since the same notification will apply to all certifications and I’d like to direct people to a relevant team depending on what certification the notification refers to. 

Is there a way to add users to a group using a CSV file? I have users that I need to add to a group, but there isn’t a user field that would make sense for the group and if I don’t have to manually add users one at a time to a group, that would be ideal/ 

Hello, community!Happy Friday - I hope none of you reply today and enjoy your weekends. :)TL;DR: I need to know what fields I should map the manager hierarchy data to in Docebo so that managers are automatically assigned to their direct reports.--We have an API written by a 3rd party vendor that syncs our data from Workday to Docebo. When I came to my company, all of our managers were (presumably) receiving their direct reports in their Team Members area of their profile as a result. In fact, some still are. However, many are not. I’ve tried opening a chat on this subject but it spun into a loop.I know that it works under certain circumstances because I have users who do have their direct reports (and even with recent hires). However, if I add direct reports to someone who doesn’t have it, the direct reports are cleared the next morning at the daily import, which communicates to me that the sync is processing that field but it’s either empty in my

Hello,  I have been experimenting lot with group management and auto enrollment based on our needs. I succeed to a good extent in achieving desired results but I am stuck at one point. Use case: We have learners (90%) they have to do a preliminary course on the platform. Based on the course results they are assigned to different groups. We have created custom home pages and assigned to those groups. At page level, the visibility is based on the groups and not on the branches.Lets say, when the user is doing a preliminary course they are in group A (manual group). Later the user added to a different group B based on the result (automated group set on the condition). Basically user will be part of two groups and two custom pages. Both the custom pages should be accessible to the user by Menu (that’s the goal)The bottleneck is:I manually add users to the Group A via csv. I can’t make Group A automatic since I can’t

I read this post And I have a similar challenge, but don’t quite get how to fix it.I want to have an image widget next to a custom content widget. It’s just there to look pretty. I’ve tried using different sizes, but the widget just stays huge which then distorts the image. What else can I do to control the height on the image on the left to be closer to the height on the custom content box?

Hi all,I was wondering if anyone has found a good way to cross-reference the video file names auto-generated by Docebo with the original file names on their local network. We’d like to be able to cross-reference these names to check that the videos on Docebo match the latest ones on our local network. We’re not sure how to do this because the file name in Docebo is different to the original file name. The auto-generated file name I’m referring to is the one shown in the following screen capture. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Auto-generated file name  

Is anybody able to tell me if a user is considered by Docebo to be an “Active User” if they log in to the system and share a piece of content to a channel?  I’ve looked up the technical definition here and its not clear to me regarding the specific action of sharing content. 

I need to automatically notify a program owner, via email, when a user has completed a specific learning plan.The user earns a Credly badge when the LP is complete and we don’t have an integration with Credly yet (working on it). I need the notification in the meantime so the program owner can manually issue the badge. The daily completion rate is sporadic (could be days/weeks before someone completes a LP or could get multiple completions in one day), so we need a notification to trigger the badge creation. Also, the program manager is not a Docebo admin at any level. I don’t see any way to add a named user in a notification, any other suggestions? 

We recently came across a use case where a single course will have hundreds (perhaps thousands) of sessions in different locations. Today, you can use ILT Additional Fields to add search criteria in a catalogue however the search results are limited to the course only. Therefore a user is not able to look for a session in specific location or by title, etc.. When they do find the course, the sessions are just listed as a long list of dates and is not searchable other than using Ctrl + F to find text on page (that implies that what the user is searching for is visible on the page somewhere; which may not always be the case when there are hundreds of sessions.Wondering if anyone has found a way to display sessions as a search result?We’d also like to see an option to search for the session by specific criteria that would be input as session additional fields.If anyone has been able to do this, I would be very interested in knowing how.Thank

So we want to add a database of Power Point presentations. I looked at doing a channel, but we want to be able to filter the resources by topic, we only need these filters for the one channel and also I couldn’t find out how or if it was possible to change the filters for channels.We could do it as a catalogue but again I only need the filters for one catalogue and I don’t want to make it harder to search in the other catalogues. I could embed something in the page but I’m not sure what we could embed to make it work. Any ideas gratefully recieved

Hello, I'm building a custom QA page for our HR team. Our HR team often gets asked the same questions, which results in many duplicate tickets. The goal is to use the QA widget as the first line of support, where employees can ask questions and get answers directly on Docebo. Once a question is asked, other employees can then search for the answers instead of emailing HR. To achieve this, I set up the following:An HR Channel An HR Support User (i.e., the channel expert) A custom page: HTML Widget (includes some instructions) QA Widget (filtered to only show the HR Channel)  It looks good, but I've run into a problem with the QA widget. As new users are added to the LMS can the LMS auto assign the Branches based on Department data?

Hello,I am wondering why, when in the public page, when users click on a card to see a course (before they buy) on the right side there is a panel with "Other courses that may interest you" and although some courses are set to "subscription closed" in the settings, they can be seen there.It's confusing for users because when they click on these courses, they have the option to click "enroll" as if the course would be available and then they get the infinite turning orange wheel.Is there a way to decide which courses can be visible there or even completely disable or remove that widget?Thanks!

I’m trying to set up some groups, and one of my fields I want to be based on a User Additional Field, but while some of those fields give me operator choices (contains, is equal to, is not equal to), some of them don’t. Of course, the one I want to use doesn’t have operator choices. Does anyone know why this is? It’s also a field with 5 possible values, 4 text ones, or people can be blank, but I can’t select blank, which I would like to. Any suggestions?

Any recommendations to compress long video files?  We have some large videos that we want to include in courses that are double the 800MB limit. Any recommendation for site or software to compress or work around others have found?

Hi all,We use Docebo for internal staff members.  However there is a need to us to make certain modules available to external partners.  Can someone explain to me best practise here so these externals only see the right content.  Do i:Create a branch or a group create the external and users and put them in to one of these branches and groups Create a page specifically for these users (or can they use the one all staff use)I’m a little lost at the standard process here and i don't want to inadvertently give these people access to the entire catalogue. 

I am trying to create a report of weekly usage for a branch of users. I’ve created and scheduled the report but I can’t figure out how to make the dates work. Right now I have the completion date “is in the range” and I used 10/18-10/24. This isn’t going to work to automate and run weekly. I tried using the “is before” or “is after” settings and I don’t get the same data as when I use the “is in the range” filter. Any tips?

We have more than one customer requesting paypal integration, but as far as we can see, there is no way to have more than one paypal recipient account active in the system at a time. Is this right?

Is there a notification that is available that I can set up to send out to users who have yet to complete an observation checklist? The checklists I have set up now doesn’t let me set up how often I would like them to be notified until it is completed.
