We have multi-day training workshops where the attendee is registering for the entire workshop. They are not allowed to pick and choose between the agenda items and they are required to attend both days. ILT needs the ability to create multi-day events where the attendee only has to enroll once and it’s clear that the attendee is registering for all required days. I have submitted the idea (see link above), so if you think this would be useful to you, please upvote it. In the meantime, does anyone have suggestions or best practices on how your’e handling this system limitation?Thank you!
Integrating 100+ Trainers Zoom Accounts
Hi there, Has any company gone through the process of integrating 250 Trainers’ Zoom accounts with Docebo? We have followed the steps with Zoom to integrate just one account and it was timely and we needed to grant the user developer rights within Zoom, and require each trainer to be present for us to integrate them. Need to integrate as it is easy one click to add zoom links to ILTs. Does anyone have a solution apart from using custom URL in the ILT set ups for us to integrate so many accounts with the least amount of administration friction? Open to thoughts. Thanks in advance for any experiences shared.
VILT Set Up
Hello! Looking for some best practices setting up VILT/Sessions/Events for a webinar. This is our first time using this feature of our LMS. Monthly, we have Webinars that are all related to Safety. Each is a different topic. My questions are:Should each separate Webinar be a separate VILT? Or 1 VILT and each webinar is a separate session? Is it required to set up an event per session? Or is a session sufficient?Any best practices around VILT’s would be appreciated! Thanks.
Automatically unenroll from ILTs?
In our current project we have some optional ILTs. Some users may find it useful to attend sessions again after they’ve already completed one. Once they completed one session I want them to see all options again right away without having to click “Change session”Is it possible to auto-unenroll users from ILT sessions so they see the same thing as before they’ve enrolled into a session for the first time?
General Import Options
Hello,The “General import options” section on the left when importing a csv. Does anyone know the names of these columns for importing? Creating a contest
I have attempted to create a contest with score the highest score and I’m having a couple of issues. Select course manually: There are no courses listed and even when I type in the course name I want to assign it to, the system does not recognize it. After I select the Rank/Badge I want to use and click save I get a message that is in red that says please insert a rank? Not sure what I’m doing wrong
Error downloading from Coach & Share asset
We have a client getting an error when trying to Download from a Coach & Share asset. Others at her facility get the same error, but we are not able to duplicate the error on our end. I suspect something on their network is blocking it. What are some best practices for tracking content upload/edit dates?
Hello! Our organization is struggling with tracking versions of the lessons put into Docebo. Docebo doesn’t have a timestamp for uploading content (single ‘lesson’ into the CLOR) so we cannot track when content was uploaded. Thus, making it difficult to pull reporting on what content may need to be updated. We’ve thought about putting dates in the title, however I am not thrilled with this idea - how do others manage/track this? Do you use Docebo, or an outside spreadsheet/program? Thank you!
Enrolment rules - adding resources
Hi allWe have a simple enrollment rule that assigns a series of Courses to users in a certain Group. I have just noticed that, after adding additional Courses to the enrollment rule resources, these are not retrospectively assigned to existing users. I knew that existing users do not get retroactively picked-up by enrollment rules, but hadn’t realised the same was the case for resources.Does anybody have any advice on how best to handle this situation? Is it a case of having to manually enroll the Group to the new courses? Thanks!Alan
how to hide/change
HI,Can anyone tell me if any of the following are doable:Can you hide/disable the add to calendar icon in a course. it just creates a brand new calendar in outlook and isn't helpful at all Can you change the placement of the join webinar button (or auto expand the drop down box). users can’t find it Can you hide training materials from the search box (not helpful at all when trying to find a course) Can you edit the contents of the calendar attachment of a notification invite? When browsing a catalogue can you make it clearer on the cards that you have completed a course (rather than it just say ‘enrolled’) Can you display a ‘Renew now’ option on the actual course page of refresher training so people don’t retake an old attempt rather than start a new one.Sorry for long list but better than creating multiple posts i think
Window size for scorm
Hi,I wonder if anyone (who might be a scorm expert) knows the answer to this. We have uploaded a scorm file which works fine on our current Blackboard VLE, but on upload to Docebo it doesn't render correctly. I expect this is an issue with the scorm file settings but just wanted to check to see if anyone has experienced this before. The screen looks the same regardless of which player setting i choose e.g. inline, new window etc.
Course Training Materials Folder- Hide Entire Folder
When creating a course, I see that I can hide individual training materials and make them available on specific dates. What if I have more than a few items and I would like to hide the folder with all the materials inside? That way I can turn the items on/off when needed instead of one by one? Is that possible?
Certification for only one group of users
I am very new to Docebo. I enabled the Certification and Retraining App and it looks like it has basic functionality that should satisfy my requirement. However, I would like some certifications that apply only to one group of (internal) users. For example, I want to identify a subset of courses towards certifying support engineers in product knowledge. These courses are accessible and appropriate for other users also, but certification must be limited to the support group users.Is it possible to accomplish that in some way? How should I think about this?
How best to get this user info for reporting?
I’m working on a project where we need quite a bit of user information for reporting, about 40 data points. These are mandatory and there’s no way around it. To improve user experience we split the questions into three parts that are completed at different times of the learning plan. We tried a few things but none has really worked:Surveys are out since they’re anonymous. We thought of adding a “Enter your name” field but then realized that answers are aggregated by question. Tests would be a possibility but there’s a lot of test-specific language (Submit test, passed) that might be confusing for learners. I’m toying with the idea of using the Localization Tool to change the language to be neutral enough to work for both tests and this type of survey - has anyone tried this? How to link to a catalog from within a course?
We have a learning plan with several courses. All courses are mandatory. There are 4 types of optional live Zoom sessions (these are not part of the learning plan).The current setup is: 4 ILTs (one per type) bundled in a “Live Sessions” catalog.What I want to achieve: I want to direct learners to that “Live Sessions” catalog from within each of the mandatory learning plan courses. My idea was to add an HTML page along the lines of “Don’t forget you can join a live session” plus a link to the catalog.Where I’m stuck:I can’t find a link to a catalog that works for all users. The only link I’ve found is one I grabbed from the course catalog overview page. That link works for the user I was logged in as, but not anyone else. A link to the specific ILT instead of the catalog would also be great. Surely, that’s possible, but where do I get the links from? UPDATE: I suppose that’s what enrollment links are going to be that will be rolled out at the end of January 2022
Import Questions into Question Bank Using GIFT
I’m pretty sure the answer is no, Docebo currently does not do this but need to confirm. Is it possible to upload test questions to the Question Bank using GIFT? If not, what I find so odd about this, is when you import a GIFT file to create a test, you can assign the questions a category that is made in the Question Bank.
Best practice for on-demand ILT sessions?
I’m currently working on a project that offers optional 1-on-1 sessions via the Zoom integration (in addition to several other ILTs). The 1-on-1 sessions are scheduled on demand, so I can’t add sessions. For consistency in the user experience, I was thinking of creating an ILT just like for the other types of session (so that all VLT sessions can go into a catalog). And then add an email address to contact in the description instead of adding sessions or events. Any thoughts on that setup or suggestions how to do that better?
Viewing answers to Quiz Scenes in Docebo Shape
Hey everyone! We’re just starting to use Docebo Shape, and we’re thinking about using it to create marketing material to use outside of the LMS. I can see great potential with the translation and voice-over features. Just wondering if anyone has tried using quiz scenes - is there a way to view user answers? Can it accept wrong answers, or does the question always have to be answered correctly to move on to the next scene?Looking forward to hearing more thoughts and use-cases for Shape.
Adding training material to existing course
Hi all! Question - for a course that exists already, where users are completed and in progress, what is the best way to add a new training material (a survey or test in particular) so it keeps the completion status of previous users at 100%, but requires new users to complete?
