Is there any expected time frame to receive these emails? We are testing it because we’d like to use it for things such as work from home agreements but so far haven’t received the email. It’s been a couple of hours. Also, we use SSO, I’ve seen talk of using it instead, can anyone advise how to set that up?
Question most likely for Docebians…If I have an ILT with no sessions planned I would like the ‘About this course’ tab to appear instead of the default ‘Sessions’ tab that just says there are none.Is there a way in CSS that we can amend this to show it by default?
For all descriptions--besides text, am I able to add multimedia such as a video?For learning plans, can the courses have a drop down with more information as opposed to all visible straight away? For learning plans, is it possible for links to open in a new tab instead of in the same window?
Goal: See user’s training material activity over a defined time period. Right now, I’m using the report type “Users - Training Material” and have turned it into a “recent activity” type report. I’m using nearly all the Training Material columns: For sorting, I have it sorted by “Attempt Date” , Z->A. This shows me the most recent activity touched first.What I want to filter out is anything in the “Attempt Date” column over 2 weeks.I have a feeling the answer is going to be “Export it and then filter it yourself” but I mean honestly, should I have to? Unless there is another report somewhere that can give me this information and I’m overlooking it. Thoughts?
Hello, We are evaluating top LMS to replace our LMS and application systems, and I wanted to check if Docebo can support the following processes:Our users must submit an online application form for each course they are interested in taking after registering for an account and creating a profile. Admins evaluate these applications before selecting candidates from the list of applicants to invite to attend a course. Does Docebo support this functionality? Each applicant has to support their application by providing a signed sponsor form from their supervisors. Does Docebo support uploading signed documents or linkage to other applications through which we can get approval? Some courses are hidden from the catalog and only available through a unique URL. Does Docebo support this capability?I would be grateful if an admin could answer my question or point me to documentation.Thank you,Ajmal
I know it’s quite easy to check when materials were uploaded to CLOR, but the users who need to check this do not and cannot have superadmin status, meaning they can’t access the CLOR. I have looked at custom reports and can only find attempts and versions etc. but not a field that would show when the material was added. I also can’t seem to find this information within the course training material report. We have around 30 different documents that we would like to be able to check this way on a fairly regular basis. It feels like something that should be quite easy to track, but am not having any luck. Any suggestions?
Hi all, does anyone know if it possible to display user related additional fields in the enrollment overview?As we are using Docebo for customer training it would be helpful for our internal staff if they would not only see the name of the learner but also to which company they belong. Company name is an additional field on the user we have created but so far we didn’t find a way to display this field on the enrollment tab in the course. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? I am relatively new to the Docebo platform, and for the most part am finding it very intuitive. The one thing that I cannot understand is why enrollment rules function the way they do. As far as I can tell, enrollment rules only work for new users added into a group. For example, if you create an automatic group that captures 4 users in the system, and then assign that group to an enrollment rule, the enrollment rule will capture zero of those users. The only way to make that rule work retroactively is to edit the user account so that it doesn't fit in the group assigned to the rule, and then re-edit it so that it ends up back in the group. I played around with assigning an empty group to an enrollment rule and configuring the eligibility after the fact, but this does not seem to be a fix. I must be missing something here I imagine?
Hello Docebo Community,I recently found out the launch LTI launch parameter has changed. Do you know if the changes are listed in the product updates, I cant find anything related to LTI in the recent product updates. Before the update, the parameter value for “tool_consumer_info_product_family_code” key is the URL. Now it’s “DoceboLearn”. Did anyone have any issues with their LTI launches? I build my own LTI authentication and manage tool consumers authorization to access my tools. Is there a watchlist that I can sign up so that I can be aware of LTI changes in Docebo?
I’ve encountered a bug where it seems like the filter option within the thumbnail selection menu to filter thumbnails by “only uploaded by me” doesn’t actually fully filter out the thumbnails for our super admins. The function does seem to be working for our power user audience.Has anyone else encountered this / know a solution?
Any ideas on how to remove duplicate observation checklists from a manager’s My Teams dashboard? A user has completed, submitted and had their observation checklists approved by manager, but a duplicate is sitting in their manager’s checklist dashboard. On the User’s end, all checklists are completed and approved. I’ve reached out to Support and currently there is no way to delete a checklist from a manager’s dashboard once it’s been submitted. Any ideas? I don’t want to lose the completed checklists (would that happen if I reset them?)
I want to send a new user email to one group of people. I can only select a branch not a group. On every other notification if it says “select custom branches and/or groups’ I can select a group as well. If this just my platform having a special moment or is this the only option we have?
We provide a lot of course resources for our product training. As it is i have to upload that content to each course. Some of these files are used in multiple courses and I want to load them to the CLOR and then select them in each course when loading the file repository.Is there a way to do that, and i just don’t see it? It would also be nice to have it because when we update the content for a new release we could push it just once to those course repositories.Hoping someone else out there has figured this one out...
Hello, I’m using the API: POST/learn/v1/external_training/batch to import a high volume of External Training records. The reason I’m using the API it’s because it allows me to import the value to any additional fields we created (e.g.: hours, minutes spent on the activity). the parameter additiona_field has to be given as a key : value list using the ID of the additional field and the ID of the drop down item as the value. I’m having trouble finding the latter when inspecting the form.Has anybody figured out a way to locate the above?Thanks,Gigi
Does anyone know if it’s possible to generate a deeplink directly to the course player? (Skipping the enrollment / catalog page altogether)I’m able to retrieve this link from the console when I open the course preview but this link only remains active for a short time (less than 24 hours). Wondering if there’s a setting to make it persist or generate a URL from the API that always plays the course content immediately. Thanks!
Hello, I am very new to this community and I am struggling with this issue (maybe it’s super basic question...);how can a power user change enrollment level of a user from learner to instructor?As a super-admin I can see the dropdown list from the edit menu in the enrollments tab, however power users can only see ‘learner’ but instructor or tutors.Is it just not possible?Thanks!
Has anyone else seen an issue with reporting of Asset Access?We are seeing reporting of users accessing assets moments after the channel and assets are uploaded, when they couldn’t possibly have even known they existed. All of the users seem to be from the same organization, and the report shows they accessed 5-7 assets within about 5 seconds. We use Channels and the Coach and Share feature instead of SharePoint because of the promise of reporting. But I haven’t been able to trust the reporting on this yet. Any ideas or shared experiences?TIA!
We’re using the platform for in-house programs and I’m thinking through the learner notificaitons. I’m hoping someone can answer my question.I upload users into the system and they receive the welcome LN that says IF you want to access your materails on-line, please create your account. It takes them to their dashboard which only contains the course materials (there will be no ILTs as it’s in-house). The other Learner Notification they’ll receive is the evaluation at the end of their final in-house session.Question 1: if the person did not want to create an account, will they still be sent the evaluation notification becuase they’re in the system?Question 2: Is there an email confirmation that automatically sends but only IF they go ahead and Log-in, creating their account? (I can’t seem to find one.)Question 3: How do I notifiy users with an evaluation email (with link) if there’s no ILT session to attach it to? Normally, I’d send this eval email 1hr after the final ILT, but if there
Has anyone added a welcome [first name] type message to their landing page. I tried using the header message in the branding section, but you can’t use short codes. I tried the myprofile widget but i can’t modify the widget enough and it becomes to large on the page.Any examples out there? ThanksLynda Gutman
