Getting data from the LMS and use it inside SCORM's web object as url parameter
Hey all! would appreciate any help with this -Would it be possible to pass to a learning object of type SCORM/ AICC the course id/name & the learning object id/name?I’m trying to retrieve these dynamic parameters from the LMS and use it as a URL parameter implemented inside a link in the SCORM file. I wonder if that’s even possible...thanks!
Can the manager role receive the score of a test in a course?
Hi everyone - so I am running into this corner that I have been re-asked to figure out, but I think I have reached my limit on what can be done with Docebo. Or maybe I am over thinking it.A course has a test in it. [check] (I interpret that as using the testing portion of the system to create a training material) An office needs to be notified if a person has passed or failed that test. (I can use the “Learner completed or failed a test in a course” message with an instructor) [check] A person can only attempt the test twice (that can be controlled with count of views) The attribute of the learner attempting to: take the test once and pass or the second time and passes/fails are the completion criteria Can the final score of that test then be sent along to the supervisor that a learner has completed a course notification.
500 or "skills_codes:invalid parameter" error for a POST call at learn/v1/courses
Background: I am trying to test course(s) creation using POST learn/v1/courses with OAUTH Password credentials. I am a superadmin user at my org’s Docebo instance. API Testing Method: Postman or Docebo API explorerIssues: Used JSON body sample from Docebo API explorer and updated the same with sample values per our need. When POST request submitted I am seeing the below errors:500 Internal Server w/ out skills_codes parameter in JSON body invalid parameter when used skills_codes parameter in JSON bodyAny suggestions on potential root cause & resolution? Notification - Certification Has Expired
Hello There, Recently i set up a notification for Certification Has Expired event to send out an email notification 30 days before a certificate expires. I hit a roadblock because we are managing a few certifications within the company and some certification has a validity of 2 years and some don’t. The issue is the 30 days notification automatically applies to all certifications but i only want to set up email notification for 1 certification and not 5 of them. Other users who have existing active certification receives the same email content but the email content is not referring to their active certification at all! I have checked with Docebo support and according to the support team, it is a bug. i am surprised. Any recommendations? regards,Will.
Any way to see vimeo url in course training material using the api?
I’m trying to do an api call to retrieve vimeo urls for across all our courses. Via the docebo api browser, I’ve tried the below url endpoints:Get downloadable link for course materialsGet downloadable link for training materials. The below call returns the LO with type vimeo, but doesn’t contain much else such as the url Is there any way to get the vimeo url?
Admin dashboard to page
Is there a way to add the Admin Dashboard to a page or menu so that I don’t have to go to the Admin menu? I log in as SuperAdmin and at the moment my homepage is blank and the only item I think that would be useful to see right away would be the Dashboard unless anyone has recommendations on what to add for a SuperAdmin homepage to review and manage the courses, users, etc.
Due Today User Notifications
I am trying to send a notification to users on the day a course is due (single email or digest) and have been unsuccessful with my tests. The only options seem to be those listed below and zero is not a valid number for ‘how many days after/ before the event‘. A number 1 entered on either does not return same-day due dates. Has anyone been able to send out ‘due today’ notifications to users? Notification Option Learner has yet to complete the class After the event/ Manual Digest: Learner has yet to complete the class Every/ Manual Course has expired Before the event/ After the event Needs: Recipients: Users AND Managers (if possible) Digest or single course per email Restrict course list (not all) Trigger day course is due Thank you!
Course completion with several training materials
If a course has three training materials (let’s say PDF files for argument’s sake) can a course enrolment status show as completed if ONE of the materials is downloaded, or is it only ever if ALL training materials are completed?Asking for a friend - thanks.
Iframe a forum into a SCORM package?
Is there any way to iframe a forum into a SCORM package? It would be great if users could complete their forum assignments right in the Rise course without having to exit the SCORM package. It works linking to it, but iframing it I get a “Firefox can’t open this page” because our Docebo instance won’t allow it due to security reasons. Is that a setting I can change?If it is possible, how would people from different cohorts see the right version of the forum? Has anyone ever done that?

Pre-filtered Catalog in a Catalog widget
Throwing this out there in case anyone has any ideas. Currently, we can point someone to a catalog that is pre-filtered, but in an effort to reduce the number of clicks someone has a take to access a training, is there anyway to have an already filtered catalog display on a page in a widget? I was playing around with the possibility of using the iFrame widget, but that would confuse learners. I am also trying to avoid creating a whole bunch of new catalogs, hence why I was playing with filtering our existing catalogs.
Either/Or Prerequisite Funtionality?
Hi all. I am trying to create a course that finishes with a test. I want the learner to have an option to watch one of two videos before having access to the test. Nothing jumps out at me as to a way to do this, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas here. The videos are exactly the same, but in different languages. Thanks!
Is there anyway to use the survey training material to make an anonymous survey? Currently when I make a survey I have to add the material to a course for users to access. Then, they have to enroll to the course take the survey. While I know the results are anonymous, the user is still recorded as enrolled. How can I avoid the enroll part so that it is truly anonymous.
Hi,Does anyone have any tips on how we could report on anyone unenrolling from an ILT course within 5 days of the event date? Within our organisation we have a cancelation policy which says if anyone cancels their space on a course late (in our case within 5 working days) , their department must pay a late cancelation fee.The notifications they get will warn them about our cancelation policy but i can't work out if there is any easy way of us (as superadmins) seeing who cancelled late.
Hi All,I wonder if anyone can advise it the following reports are possible. I know we can get raw data out but can we (without having to massively manipulate in excel):Create a report which shows a % completion of all users who have complete a course ,or learning plan Create a report that shows the above but filterable (or broken down) by Department (we have this information stored in an additional field) Create a report which shows which users are out of date for retraining (again broken down by dept) Can we create these reports accessible by either certain people or by managers (again we have this info in an additional field). I'm guessing we would have to set them up as power users.Every report I have seen seems to spit out rows upon rows of raw data and I’m much more interested in summary stats. any help would be appreciated. Bulk changes of users in branches
I currently administer our LMS alongside a very busy role. In order to prevent myself from becoming a bottleneck users are allowed to sign in using SSO which creates a basic profile for them. I then go onto profiles quarterly and update the rest of the user fields. I am able to update all fields using the bulk import tool EXCEPT “Branch”. When I had some time I manually created and moved some profiles to a Branch but for various reasons I haven’t been able to stay on top of this task. We are now needing the Branch field to be accurate and I am unable to See which users are without a Branch assign a group of users to a Branch in one upload - or find a quick way to assign Branch without going through each profile one by one.If anyone has any suggestions I would really be grateful!
Test answers within report
Hi All!My team is working on building a report and we cant quite figure out how to get it to populate what we need. Within individual courses, we’re able to pull reports for tests that include the users and their answers. We’ve added the same test from the CLOR to the end of multiple courses, and we’re looking to pull one report that incudes the users name, date of completion of test, and their answers for the test, sorted by the course name. Any thoughts on how/if this is possible? Thanks!
Avereage Time changing from hh:mm:ss to hh:mm / How field data be converted?
If I’m understanding the update, it looks like the Average Time field is changing from hh:mm:ss to hh:mm. Does anyone know how the platform is going to edit the contents of that field once Average Time is changed to just hh:mm? Is it going to round up or down based on the “ss” that we have populated? Or just remove the “ss”?
Which values influence the ranking in the leaderboard?
We award many badges that are earned with the completion of a course. As a result, many participants have the same score, but appear at different ranks on the leaderboard. Therefore, I wonder what other values are crucial for the positioning on the leaderboard?
