Ok. I am struggling with the difference between a session and an event. I can see the differences when building it out. Can you all give me some examples of the differences between sessions and an event? I also read the “Naming Conventions for ILT post. Great info, but for some reason, still struggling. We would simply have 1 session/event. The session would recur quarterly, but the event?Hope this makes sense.Thanks,Michael

Is there a way to assign new course thru exist enrollment rules app?I’ve a existing enrollment rules (with 10 onboarding course) for our location and it works well if any employees newly joined into our groups/branches.Now, we are extending our onboarding course from 10 to 12...The newly added 2 courses does not assign to our exist employees. Enrollment rules not processing to our employees those who added already into our groups/branches, If any new employee added into our groups/branches, 12 onboarding courses are assigning as expected. In Docebo KB article says retroactive does not work in enrollment rule app.. Unfortunate! We are enabling new onboarding courses frequently and it is not best approach to create a groups every time when we enable a new course to our onboarding employees thru enrollment rules.Do we have any best practice for this scenarios or did I miss something in settings?

Hi Everyone!I am looking for some best practices here in uploading a test from the CLOR to multiple courses. Some details. The test was authored in Docebo The test serves as an End of Course Survey Currently, when we go to pull the data for the survey responses from within the individual course, the data does not align. We’ve noticed the same responses populate across multiple courses, rather than having answers specific to the course we uploaded it to. Is this because we’re uploading the same test to multiple courses? Do you have any best practices here so that we can ensure our data aligns with the correct course? Thanks!

Hi all,I was hoping somebody could offer some advice regarding how to space tests within a course composed of multiple videos. Our team is considering the following three methods.Short test after each individual video. Medium length test after several videos. Long test at the end of all the videos.Each of these methods has pros and cons, so it would be really helpful if you could share how you space your tests and explain why you favor one particular method over another. Our videos are generally quite short, averaging about 3 to 5 minutes in duration.Thanks,Daniel 

When I try to upload a file into the training material of a course or into the central repository, it’s saying that the file does not exist. It’s doing this for any file. I’ve uploaded files multiple times previously but now I’m suddenly running into this issue.Anyone else experiencing this?

When the deadline date under Self Enrollment Deadline is chosen, is there a specific time that this takes place?For example:  I have a class starting on Thursday and I have the date set as today, what time does the deadline actually take place?Thank you!

Hi all,  first post so please bear with me.  We are just about to launch Docebo at our organisation and there are still lots of things we cannot get our heads around.  This might be the first of many questions i post here!We are rolling out a leadership development programme.  It consists of 5 days of training (over the period of 3 months), and has lots of pre/post learning. The programme will run with cohorts of about 16 people which go through the programme together and complete each day of training together).  We could potentially have 5 cohorts this year.  In my mind it should have been a case of setting up a course, then setting up a session (for each cohort), and the setting up the 5 days of training as 5 events within each session.  So far this works for this programme.  My issue is around training materials.  it looks like I can only add materials at the course level (not session).  Ideally i would want to course materials being ‘released’ as each event happens.  So Day 1 mater

We have several superadmins across our organization, as well as content creators.  When it comes to tracking, though, it is not immediately clear who has created what.I’m trying to find out who first created a certain Learning Plan. I went to our Audit Trail, but that has 10,000+ lines and is not searchable.How would you easily find this out? 

HiIs anyone having trouble exporting reports from the New Reports section? Whenever we’re trying to do this it’s getting stuck on the ‘Creating Background Job’ message and won’t go any further.Scheduled reports are working fine, it just won’t allow us to export directly from the LMS! 

Is there any way of preventing an  instructor from Uploading or editing/deleting  training material? We need to have a strict control of the content that is loaded into the training material and this must ONLY be added/edited by selected power users. However as an instructor, from the instructor overview screen I can add/edit/delete course material for ALL sessions (even those I am not the instructor for It edits the training material in the course shell.This is a major issue in retaining the integrity of our content.Any suggestions/workarounds?

For example, I have two groups of users defined by which branch they are in. Enterprise (plus subscribers) and non-enterprise. I’ve manually set up a group with the 150 enterprise branches called “enterprise members” I’d like to make a group “non-enterprise members” that is automatically composed of any users not in the “enterprise members” group. Is this possible? For example, I have a channel that displays enterprise courses to enterprise users, and I’d like to show a course with info about enterprise features to non-enterprise users. Catalog visibility only gives me “group member” as an option, not “not a group member”, if that makes sense. Not sure how to program this.

I have a course that is set up as a test. It contains a SCORM package which is restricted to only 1 view. The SCORM package doesn’t report a score to Docebo. I evaluate the data from the SCORM package manually so the pass/fail isn’t decided or automated in the platform currently.I'm trying to think of a way I could automatically allow people to take the scorm package again after x amount of time if they fail the test.Any ideas? C.

Can I legally embed things like ted talks or educational videos by universities in some wellness courses on yoga, diet and exercise? We charge our customers for access to our docebo. We don't sell the wellness courses, they are free to anyone who has access to the platform.

Not sure if anyone experienced this? We are using the custom page widgets to upgrade our dashboard look and feel, but only to find out later that it doesnt give us the option to “remove courses that are part of a learning plan” for the Courses and Learning Plans widget. I know you can simply filter it to show learning plans only, but it’s still quite confusing especially for new learners. Anyone has any solutions or suggestions to this? Thanks in advance!!

Hello, I’m trying to find definitive answers on the status columns when pulling an ILT Session Report. Would anyone be able to tell me exactly what they meanSession Enrollment Status Column >» Complete, In Progress, Subscribed.Evaluation Status Column>»  Passed, In progress.I really would like to know what each one means, This is not easy to find. We also have a user who is in progress for an enrollment status and also in progress in the evaluation status column.Thank you all in advance I really appreciate it.nc 

I've already reviewed your site for what I'm about to request and found nothing that accomplishes this task.Currently, we have this function working properly with email notifications going to the Power User (Manager) to review the assignment and grade it.However, some of the PUs don't always go into the system and mark these complete. Looking for a new process to mark these materials approved after a specific number of days after the submission IF the manager does not mark them? In other words, I am looking to automate marking rather than setting up another email for the administrator to go in and mark said courses. Thoughts? #UPVOTE #ENHANCEMENTREQUEST #TRAININGMATERIAL

An alert showed up on the Admin Dashboard indicating there is one course with no training material. There isn’t a link on the alert to show you which course it is. Does anyone know which report can be run to determine which course does not have any training material?  

I just got a note that my PUs cannot reset a course attempt.Where I can see the attempt and reset it….I can verify that it is true what they are seeing.Off hand - does someone know the permission to reset a course attempt for PUs?

Hello! I have been trying to figure out a way to change the color of the background within a Google Slides iFrame widget. Currently the issue is that I can get the iframe to display at full size within its container, however it always leaves a slight black border along the bottom and right sides of the element, as seen here:  I’ve placed the iframe into a div container will maintain its aspect ratio and scale to fill the entire area and hide any overflow. I’ve set the background, background-color, and color to match our general background yet it always inherits the same black color. Hi all,I often need to upload records for sessions that occurred weeks in the past. The enrollment date, however, seems to default to the day you create the session/event. Is there a way to change the enrollment date so that it matches the completion date?

  Hi, I know this is probably somewhere, but I can’t find out where so apologies in advance. I went to the update webinar yesterday, and it was fascinating. I was hoping to be able to try out some of the features on the platform today (I have a quiet day for a change). Now the new release schedule starting in September is Monday to Wednesday after the end of the month release updates are posted. But when is the current update? Is it at the end of the month ie Sunday this month, or the start of the following month ie next week sometime? The updated pages are not really helpful “end of July” but no actual dates.
