How to manage multilanguage courses?

Hi everybody,I’m wondering if there is a best practice (or best LX) for multilanguage courses or learning contents.For example, if I have the same content available in multiple languages, should I rather create one course for each language (increasing exponentially the elements to maintain) and make them equivalent with respect to LP’s, or gather the whole collection of contents in a single course where the learner chooses their language as in a folder?The best outcome would be the platform to show the learner only the content in their language (as the platform renders), while right now we have some courses with the “language folders” and some other where content editors have a lot of manual work maintaining.Is there a best practice by Docebo? Otherwise, what compromise should we choose?Thank you very much.Mauro

Best practices for Categories vs. Catalogs (Content Organization)

What are some different ways you all use Categories? Previously I used them as a way to organize our courses and a way for our users to search the subject they wanted.I recently turned our categories in to catalogs and turned off the categories. I was told a lot of users use the categories for back end use. I was just curious is some of you can show me how you use them that may also be beneficial to us.Thanks in advance!

Is there Observation Checklists Limit?

Hello, and thank you again in advance!We recently created checklists with a lot of items and when a manger views the checklists not all the items are showing up. I was wondering if this is a known issue? or Is there a limit on the checklist items? We have over 60 items(questions in there. Thank you.

Paid for courses and learning plans that need to be renewed and payment taking again...

Hi,Does anybody know how we can set up in certification and retraining courses and learning plans that need to be taken annually and require payment being taken again?At the moment I’m lost on how we can achieve this - we have everything set up in certification and retraining but when the learner clicks ‘renew’ now they bypass the payment and are able to complete the learner again for free.Appreciate help/advise on this.ThanksAnt

I have hundreds of pieces of content organized into dozens of folders and subfolders in my Central Repository. Is there a report that can identify content that is not in a course or do I have to look in every folder?

Adding script to Docebo

Hello! We need to add a Script to Docebo so that users know we are using Cookies.I tried to add it under Configure Branding and Look > Custom Styles, but it didn't take. I’m not highly technical, so it could be a problem with the actual code I was entering, but I do want to make sure I’m in the correct place.The help content from the script provider indicates "it can be added to the <head> of any site", but needs to be "the first script that loads on the site."Has anyone done this before / can anyone confirm I’m in the right place?

How to change visibility from private to public

A subject matter expert uploaded a video to a Coach & Share channel and marked the asset visbility as private. He shared it with me but I don’t see an option to make the visibility public to all. Can someone point me in the direction to change this setting?

What Does Your Company's LMS Support Model Look Like?

Hi Everyone. My company currently has everyone set as a superadmin (self-service model), which is over 100 people for a company with 10,000+ employees and an external domain of 12,000 users Clearly, this is concerning for many reasons. We are working to try and get additional headcount to help support the 1 LMS Admin (me). Once we downgrade all of the IDs to power users, someone will need to help support our 30 IDs with creating enrollment rules and automatic groups, question bank, CR, etc. Question: What does your company’s LMS support model look like? How many LMS admins do you have? How many users? Do you have an external domain? Is your support model more centralized where the LMS Team creates courses, enrollments, etc.? Does your IT department handle the support tickets?Unfortunately, I cannot find any documentatio

Does any Widget support using a GoLearn deep link?

More fun with Deep Links. They don’t work within an HTML widget within Docebo. Docebo strips the deep link.I added an Image widget to a page and linked it to a course. In Go.Learn it then opens the course in the browser on my phone, it actually leaves Go.Learn to open the course!So I went back to the drawing board and created an HTML Widget thinking I’d actually control the code and provide 2 options (one in the site, one on the phone). Docebo actually strips the HTML of the href!These Deep Links just don’t deliver when needed! Frustrated.Is there any widget type that would allow me to use a golearn deep link?

Online Course Evaluation/Survey

I’m looking to edit our end-of-course survey. Currently we have a VERY LONG survey that I am ready to get rid of. We use the survey tool at the end of each course and set it as the end object marker. Therefore, users are required to take it to get their certificates but they get angry at the length. I would too. Would anyone be willing to share your surveys so I can get an idea of how we can effectively evaluate our courses with fewer questions?Looking for around 10 strong questions.Thanks for your help!

Branded Mobile App: Build number increment

We are trying to upload a second build of the branded mobile app to the iOS store. When I generated the new build (which had a different platform URL than the first build) the build number did not increment. Apple will not accept a build with the same build number and version number. The instruction's from support say to edit the build number in Xcode. Our developers say you cant use Xcode to modify the IPA. They say you have to ‘hack’ the IPA to change the build and version number and are surprised that Docebo recommends this way. Has anyone else encountered this problem and have a solution to share?

How do you link out to content hosted on a 3rd partys site?

I need to create courses so that when the content is launched it uses a URL and takes the user to a 3rd party site where the content is hosted. In my previous experience I could link a URL as content so that when the content was launched from the course in LMS, it took user to the destination via the URL. I don’t see that ability with Docebo. I could put a link in the description, but then we lose all tracking and completion info. Has anyone else done this? Am I just missing something?

Annual training excluding New hires

Hi there, I am looking to roll out an annual training that will exclude the all new hires.I wanted to create a group of users to launch a learning plan for anyone who is in the system excluding new hires. so once the training is assigned to that group, will it reassign after the data from the HR feeds to the LMS? if so, would deleting the group after the training has assigned affect the users who are in the learning plan from that group? will that assignment delete too?

Tracking mandatory New Hire Training

How do you all track your New Hire sessions (the ones that are mandatory). For instance we have a Learning Plan that includes things such as: New Hire Welcome and Orientation Education Overview Products and Service Overview (and so on, there are 10 - 15 different sessions)Currently they are in the system as ILT Sessions and we create new sessions in each class for each new hire. This process is taking a LOT of time from my staff and I don’t feel it is efficient. We have looked into the CSV uploads, but those just do not seem ideal either, it makes us add the CSV for the Session, then the Instructors (which takes several tries often to get them to accept, then we have to create the events and customize and go back to mark completion). We are a small company with less than 150 users, I know some of you have HUGE user numbers, how are you doing it!? I am certain you are not all doing this manually! What can we do diffe

Image not resizing in the Course Description

To get our users to click on the arrow to reveal their join webinar button we decided to add a banner with instructions to do so. The problem is that the image doesn’t stay within the course description box or even stretch to the end of the box to line up with the arrow we’re pointing to when the browser window size is changed.I’ve been trying to find a code or setting to fix it but I can’t seem to find anything. Is there any way I can fix it?As always, I appreciate the assistance!

Renewing my SSL Certificate for custom domain

Hello Community. So I have to renew my SSL certificate for my custom domain for the first time. I am not very technical so this process is not entirely clear to me so I came to the experts for help. Do I understand the steps correctly:Download the cert files for the renewed certificate Under Advanced Settings, under HTTPS, click to Remove Certificate I then reupload the new cert filesI am assuming the system will be down the minute I remove the certificate. As such I plan to do it off peak hours. Does anyone have a more formal procedure for this type of system maintenance?Thanks!

Can a power user enroll a learner into a specific session from an ILT course?

We have a strong need to have managers/ or power users self enroll a user/learner from the MY Team page into a specific session of a ILT course. We know the user/learner can self enroll into a session but can we get a manager/power user to do this? In power user permissions, in the drop lists, it distinctly says sessions not just courses. Maybe it’s the language that confuses me? Since is says ILT Sessions. Thank you in advance for any information on this.

Email Notifications - How can I set them to all be in English (US) only?

We have setup a number of custom email notifications, all in English (US). It recently came to my attention that some of our learners who have set their profile language to one other than English are receiving the notification emails but translated to their native language. I did some digging around and am seeing that some notifications automatically send a different email, provided by Docebo, based on their language. An example of this is the “User has been created (confirmed registration)” notification. If you create one of these notifications you’ll see that Docebo provides the email subject/body for all 36 languages, and there is no way to disable specific languages for this notification without disabling the languages completely via the Localization settings. But that also disables the UI translations, which we’d like to keep.

Comments do not show in Activities Stream

So here’s a tidbit for anyone adding the Activities Stream widget to a custom page. While the documentation in the KB states: “This widget shows the user’s new enrollments into courses, and assets, Q&As and comments that have been published in the platform.”It actually does not include any comments made to assets or via the course comments or forum widgets. I filed it as an issue with Support but apparently it’s the documentation that’s wrong. We would love to have this widget show all activity including any comments on assets/courses. There’s a suggestion in the Ideas Portal LMS-I-3004 if anyone else would find this change helpful.

SuperAdmin permission

Within our organisation Poweruser isn't powerful enough and SuperAdmin is almost too powerful for our day to day operational tasksI voted for the idea asking for and profile between poweruser and superadmin but keen to understand if others feel the same.Ideally we would like SuperAdmins set at branch level so that each branch could be “autonomous”Any thoughts ?

Zoom changing session times after Daylight Savings

Has anyone had issues with the Zoom Integration when scheduling past Nov. 7th?We just figured out that when we schedule a session though Zoom it works fine, unless the session is scheduled past the next scheduled Daylight Savings Time. I’ve spoke to support and they indicated it was on Zooms side, but Zoom is saying opposite. I am stuck in the middle with no solution. All our sessions (after Nov. 7th) are correct in Docebo, but in our Zoom Account everything shifts by one hour. I have a video I can share, but the Community file restrictions won’t upload here. Thanks for any help you can provide if you have run into this issue!
