Hey Community - Our instance of Docebo is an extended enterprise that exists on our parent company’s Docebo. We operate two completely different sites, however. Their’s is called “The Hub” and ours “Intelisys University” Right now, when users enroll in one of OUR certifications (learning plans), they are receiving the “New Course Enrollment” email but it’s branded with The Hub instead of Intelisys University. Is there a place that we can either make our courses only send confirmation emails with our branding, or if not, where can we turn these confirmation emails off completely 

When some of our learners move to a new office they have a new email/account identity and we have to merge their account to keep their past history.  I’ve noticed today that their additional fields and group membership (manual) are not being merged.  Is this something that others have noticed too or am I missing a step?Joanna

Has anyone set up the ability for the user to login with their Google and/or LinkedIn credentials? I have some questions. I can clearly see the benefit to users. Are there any cons? What about when the user’s email in Docebo doesn’t correspond to their Google or LinkedIn account, and they try to log in, what happens? I am having issues trying to test this in my sandbox, so I don’t really know what the user experience is like. I tried setting this up for LinkedIn and am getting an error about the redirect url being invalid. When I asked Support for assistance, I was told I had to go through my CSM and professional services for any SSO setup (which I will do) but I thought one could set up the Google/LinkedIn without assistance or extra services from Docebo. Has anyone been able to set it up on their own? While I’d like users to be able to have this convenience, I definitely don’t want to pay extra for it. Is there anything else I should be aware of?Thanks for any and all input.-Cindy

Good Day,Is there a way to update/change an additional field? We have an additional field of employee status, but the employee status may change as the user progresses through trainings. Is there a way for us to utilize the additional fields this way? Or is there a known way or hack that anyone uses that will do the same thing? Thank you so much in advance!

Hello, I have a group that gets populated via enrollment rule. The group has certain guidelines for example users must be part of a specific branch, and an additional field must be populated with “New Hire”. And it works great. However, I need to add a branch but only to new users.If I update the group to include more branches, will the existing users in that branch also get put in that group? I’m trying to figure out if docebo is retro active and checks every user in the branch for this criteria. We do not want existing users. New users only. 

I have been tasked with running a report that allows the firm to see at a glance what courses (both ILT and eLearning) we have in a catalog without a user having to log in and physically look.I have been told this is not possible.  Has anyone found a way to do this at all?Note: we can’t just use categories, as some courses fall into more than one and you can only assign a course to one category. Thanks... Neil 

We have an All Staff Catalog and staff catalogs for each of our locations. We need a few people to receive the new course notification when courses are added to certain staff catalogs. I know I need to have a power user profile for these individuals so they are the ones that receive the message.I’m having problems narrowing the notification to only include the staff catalogs for certain locations. I’ve been trying to do this by selecting certain branches, but the notification is being sent when courses are added to our All Staff Catalog. I think this is because the branches I selected also have access to the All Staff Catalog.What am I missing? Is there a way to send the New Course notification for courses that are added to specific catalogs and not for every course added to the platform?

I know this used to be possible, as seen in the GIFs in this knowledge article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020084140?input_string=branchNow, though, there is no way to search for Branches when adding a user to them (after user creation) that I can find.Has this feature been removed or is there a better way to find branches to add users into them? I have over 10,000 branchesso clicking through the pages is not an option.

I am looking to quantify how many pieces of content I have in my Docebo platform. Obviously I know how many courses I have but I want to quantify other types of assets that have been uploaded. Just a number would be great but a count broken down by type (videos, shared links, # of docs/pdfs, etc.) would be ideal.

Are you able to enroll a Branch into a learning plan, but excuse the Branch from one of the Courses in the Learning Plan? 

I feel like such a noob. I’m looking at how we can use Docebo for both classroom and webinar sessions and I am getting totally bamboozled as to what the idea behind ILT courses is and how best to use it.We have a group of people receiving training from us across several dates throughout the next year.At the moment, I’ve created a session for each component:-a half hour meeting for planning via zoom is in a session with one event.-a four-hour zoom meeting on a different day is in one session with one event.-a three day in-person course is in one session with three events, one for each day.When I open the course, it only shows the first session and I have to use the drop-down to select different sessions. That feels counterintuitive. I want learners to see what is coming up throughout the whole course, not just the first session. Is there a better way to set the session/events up? Is there an overview page I am missing? What’s the best use for sessions versus events?Thanks for all advice

We have an issue where users search for training material and select a specific module from course content in the results. The course has been configured so it’s free and open enrollment and included in the course catalog. However, when a user clicks on the search result for a specific learning object nested within a course, they receive a 404 error message. Once we enroll them in the course, they can access the learning object.Is there a workaround or settings I should configure to prevent this from happening? 

Hi. We have been struggling to find a suitable way to send a welcome email to new starters. We have been triggering it based on an auto-enrollment rule for a Learning Plan and using the “User has been assigned to a learning plan” email.However, we find that some users never receive the email even though they have an active mailbox, whilst other do. It also isn’t ideal as we have found that if existing users change org structure they will be enrolled as the platform sees them as new user as they are moved across org units.We do a weekly CSV import using Automation rules so have hoped to use the “User has been created (by Administrator)” but, although the audit trail shows this event, the email doesn’t trigger. So would be interested to hear how you are welcoming your new users and see if we have missed something or need to raise tickets to get these issues sorted out!ThanksRichard

Does anyone know how a manager views and fills out an Observation Checklist? I have created the OC, assigned the manager, and created the notification. The notification goes through and the manager receives email/bell notification, but cannot get to the checklist to actually fill it out. Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Good morning! We are three weeks from our soft launch and while our team is still learning about all of the features, I thought I would reach out to this group for a question I can’t find an answer to elsewhere. What is your favorite report for finding your most active learners, or do you use gamification? The Branches report (when switched to user view) show the individual courses users have taken. The Users report - shows the users/data/ The Courses report - seems to show only the courses. How can I pull a report that shows me a roll up per user of the courses they’ve taken (by branch)? Bonus question: Do you have a favorite custom report you’ve built?  

Hello,I was under the impression that if you enroll a user into a learning plan they will automatically be enrolled into all the courses in the learning plan. I did enroll a user into a learning plan and user is not showing up when i go to course enrollments. Any idea why this is?Thank you.

What notification should I use for a power user of an area to be notified if a user completes a course? I don’t see a digest available for this and am not sure if Learner Completed a Course is appropriate.

Hey all - We’ve run into a few issues over the last couple of days  - does anyone have work arounds for the following:Surveys: don’t allow you to input answers for use - is anyone using these with success? Observation Checklist: Don’t have values tied to answers to be able to score Cannot see all answers in reporting Can not permission to groups to be observers Quizzes: Can only hold most recent score - does not hold all attempts - essentially only reporting one score per user Does not report how students answer each question to see if there is a trend in a bad question Any help or solutions are appreciated!

Our company hires weekly, as a result each week we get the latest and greatest spreadsheet with all of the newest employees to upload into Docebo. As we add more users to Docebo and into Groups (Ops, HR, IT, General Population, etc.), is there any automation or dynamic way that the users are next enrolled in the Courses that their groups are assigned to?  Or do we have to manually add all the new users to each group every week.What has worked for you?  Thanks

Is it possible to swap out the main Icons for such things like the hamburger menu or the filter button to a custom icon?  If w/ CSS can someone provide me a sample of the code it would require?    

I was under the impression that we could create custom Dashboards.  Is this possible?  I am not finding a dashboard engine anywhere.  I saw something about creating a custom page and using widgets, but the widgets don’t have the information I would want in a dashboard.  How have you all created Dashboards for HR Directors, L&D Directors and Professionals?  I would want to combine statistics on usage, completion data on high visibility initiatives, onboarding of new EE’s.  Is this possible within the platform?

Can we up bulk upload videos to the CLOR, or anywhere else in Docebo?
