I took over from an employee that was let go and there was no time to cross-train on docebo. I am editing an existing course and based on inspecting the page code I assume this is how I update the top image of a course. However, after saving, it does not update. What am I doing wrong?I also updated the thumbnail, which did work for the thumbnail view. Before I edited it, the Enable custom settings for the header layout was not checked, so I assumed the header would just adopt the thumbnail, but it did not do that either.  

Has anyone added a welcome [first name] type message to their landing page.  I tried using the header message in the branding section, but you can’t use short codes.  I tried the myprofile widget but i can’t modify the widget enough and it becomes to large on the page.Any examples out there? ThanksLynda Gutman

Hi, my first post here, I’m hoping you can help!Back in July, my company’s course player looked like this:You can see that I used CSS to remove “File” and “SCORM” from below the module title. I also used CSS to replace the default images, depending on the lesson status. Now, Docebo have done something to the course player with an update in September (https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/19807231971474-Product-updates). Now, the course player is different and my CSS is having no effect and it looks like this:

Hi all!  I’m wanting to upload certifications and retraining records via a CSV file. It appears to work, but when I go and check my transcript the certification isn’t anywhere. I get no error messages. I’ve attached both the spreadsheet and the Import schema. Any ideas?Thank you in advance. Sarah

Hello!We have gotten a request internally to see if we could allow for opening courses found in catalogs in a new tab with an action. As in a normal click still opens the course in the same window, but some kind of variation (like right click menu) allows for opening in a new tab.We currently use the Catalog widget with Card style display.Is there any option for this that is known? Or if we used another display style? This is the current options for right-click - it could be another thing besides right click!Thank you for help in advance!

I have asked and hunted for this answer before, but I know things are always changing and you all are so smart and coming up with solutions.My stakeholder really wants one click resources on the landing page and I agree! Having a list of easy to access PDFs, documents, etc. would really help people use our LMS as the go-to source for solutions.I currently have a course that is set up as “Handy Tools” once someone is enrolled, they can just click on it and see the list, but if they aren’t enrolled that is two extra clicks and if they are on mobile, it is an extra click to get to “CONTENT” rather than the normal flow.I will take suggestions on having easy to click on the page resources or plug-ins.

Hi all. I told my manager I could create a certificate for him by EOD. Normally this is not a boast but today I’m losing my mind trying & retrying this. I’m using a landscape design, in a table so the text can be set to the right so that we can have an image on the right (a background image, it’s not part of the html.) It runs almost 50% of the width of the page, so the text should begin just to the right of it.The issue is that I can either have the text cover it, or be either partially or entirely not visible. If I move the text far enough to the right to not cover the image, then either several phrases are removed or it’s not visible at all. Hi!Does my Docebo platform have its own FTP site where I can upload content? 🤔I know I can use an FTP site from my company for various automations, but I am unsure if Docebo has one for content. I have used several other LMSs where we loaded tons of content via FTP, and it was a big time saver. Thanks!Mark

I know that ‘Suspended’ at course level essentially locks the user from the course, but what impacts are there if the SESSION enrollment status is ‘Suspended’?  I have looked at all of the knowledge articles but can only find details for the course level status, not session level.

**EDIT**  Sorry, everyone.  I found out an answer right after I posted this message.  The two courses that were showing up did not have the enrollment deadline added.   We imported users from our old LMS to Docebo last year.  The ones who were imported no longer are assigned to a session.  The issue is that now those users have an "enroll" dropdown next to the course they've already taken.  We do not have the self-enrollment feature checked and there are no other settings I can see that should allow users to enroll themselves in a new session.   Is there any way to prevent this?  We have tried enrolling these users into a "test” session, but they still have the option to enroll in a different session in their portal.   Because they have already completed this course, we do not want them to have the option to re-enroll in a different session. 

I am attempting to create a course that allows learners two attempts at a test in docebo. If they pass either attempt, they complete the course. If they do not, I want them to have to review an internal policy (url) before getting to test again. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? I have attempted to utilize articulate storyline which helps accomplish this but then I can’t seem to get docebo to limit the testing attempts to two for an outside scorm course. It allows me to only allow the learner one view of the test but that’s decieving because what if they view it but don’t actually get to attempt the test before they are pulled away and then can’t get back into it. Suggestions for either option are appreciated!

Hey there!I’m importing events into sessions via CSV and can’t figure out what to enter in the Zoom v3 fields to get the import to work without errors. If you’ve successfully imported events with Zoom v3 via CSV, could you share a sample CSV file with me?I’ve done plenty of imports using a custom video conferencing tool with no issues, but Zoom v3 is giving me trouble. Manually creating events with the Zoom v3 settings works just fine, but when I try to import via CSV, I get an error about the “zoom_v3_account_id.” From what I’ve learned, I need to check the Zoom v3 settings and look at the URL to find this number. In my case, I had two test accounts, but the one that actually works is account 3. Even Docebo Support told me to use “3”—but I’m still hitting an error.Any ideas? Would love any insights you’ve got! 

I don’t see anything in Reports/New Reports that shows how many times an asset has been downloaded. Am I missing it somewhere, or is that not something the platform can track?Similarly, does anyone know if we can track how many times a file repository item within a course has been downloaded?

Hi all - I’m new to Docebo, but not new to LMS and workplace learning. I’d like to know how others handle calendaring for ILT / VILT events. I’ve set up my first VILT in the system, an 8 week course that meets every Friday. I’ve set it up as a course with one session and 8 events.Upon successful enrollment, learners are sent a notification that includes a calendar attachment. When the user opens the calendar attachment, it creates a new calendar in Outlook called Untitled. The 8 events are saved in the Untitled calendar as 8 separate events. Here are the issues that I’m trying to resolve:The event is in a new calendar and not in the learner’s calendar so the time is not blocked out. The user must copy it or invite themselves to the event. If the event time changes or is cancelled, the user’s copied calendar entry does not update. Hello!I am creating a course and want to have some optional resource/reference materials for the learners. I know I can add this to a folder and put it in the training materials. I’m hoping for advice and best practices on whether or not that should go in the central repository. Basically I have a number of things the learner has to do to complete the course- a couple SCORM files and a PDF. Then I have a folder I’ve called Resources with a few PDFs and rise files they can choose to access or not. For the purposes of knowing what to build for future courses, I’d like to know what employees are clicking on and using, but I want it to be optional. If you were doing this, how would you go about loading those optional resources? Central Repository and change the permissions to optional completion? Building at the course level? Something else I haven’t discovered yet?Thanks,Emily

Greetings,As you know once your CSMs and account executives hear that one client is accessing the LMS from another platform using SSO/SAML they want the same for every client. Is there a way for multiple clients to use SAML/SSO without having all of them become Extended Enterprise clients? Thanks for your time!~B

We have a learning plan that consists of eLearning & ILT sessions. We enrolled a manager into the Learning Plan to complete the eLearning but there are no ILT sessions for those courses at this time. We tried to unenroll him from the ILT courses but cannot since the course enrollment was through a Learning Plan.We are aware that if he is in “Enrolled” status will he receive reminders to complete the course; is there any way around that? Is there any way to unenroll someone from an ILT in a Learning Plan if there are no sessions scheduled? We are trying to avoid him getting reminders to complete a course when there are no sessions for the course at the moment.

Hi I’m trying to download the certificates in a course with 100 or so attendees. So far I can only figure out how to download each certificate one by one. Is there a way I can download a batch of certificates in one go?

We lead several courses and programs that occur over successive days. Tues, Wed, Thurs 8:30 to 11:30  Every Friday for 11 weeks Tues through Friday, 1:00 to 5:00 and the following Tuesday, 1:00 to 5:00Is there a way to set an event as recurring over multiple days or do I need to create 11 unique events for one session?

I am currently having a difficult time with a course where the course material is set up like SCORM, File Download, SCORM. Currently, the learners are going through the first SCORM, clicking to download the file (usually a QRG in a PDF format) it opens a new tab and then they are not navigating back to the course thinking they have completed it. I have tried to both have the table of contents on screen and without it on screen.Is there a way to a. Have a preview of the file so they do not have to download it right away to see what it is? b. Have it download in the same tab so they do not navigate away from the course player. c. Have a progress bar on the course player so they can see they have done 2/6 course elements of the full course?Has anyone had similar navigation issues where they have found good solutions?

I want to see a breakdown of test answers by question. For example, how many people missed Question 1, Q2, Q3, etc. to help guide instruction. I know how to get the report within the reports section of the quiz, but that shows me answers by student. Yes, I know I can use Excel but I REALLY thought to see the breakdown per question, I needed to use the Docebo Test option and it was available within the GUI (not as an exported xls doc).I see an “Answers Breakdown” button when using SCORM but that never seems to work (SCORM 2004 3rd Edition). Can anyone help?
