Can I create a group where multiple email domains are accepted?
I am excited about the ability to great a group based on email domain “@company.com”. What has me concerned is there is a message that ALL conditions must be met in a group. My question: Can I create a group where multiple email domains are accepted? Use case:We have a program for Technology Partners. The partner company has to get approved to participate in the program. Once approved any employee from the company can take the restricted training. My plan is to create a group of approved email domains. Then give the group access to the restricted content. My plan is to update the group criteria each time a new partner is approved.
Power User & Certificates
Hi folksHope everyone is well and keeping safe :)I have Power Users set up on our Docebo platform and one of the permission is to view certificates. However, when a Power User logins in-to their team section and goes to download/view one of their teams certs it’s coming up blank for some reason. Any ideas why this would be? Maybe a browser issue? Although, have tried Chrome, Firefox & Edge and same issue with the blank screen.Many thanks
Power User Profiles - pre-populate user additional fields
Dear Community,Please could somebody explain to me what this setting in the Power User Profile settings does? What I have managed to determine so far is that:it does not, in fact, do any pre-populating of fields it does not affect the visibility of fields for Power users (this is done with the Branch field visibility settings) NB - my goal is for a specific additional field to be visible to some PUs and not others. Assignment resources to power user - only effective after login
Does anyone have a decent way to deal with this remark on Power Users & resources?When assigning resources to a Power User, the assignment will be effective only after the Power User first logs in to the platform after the assignment is confirmed.We have an automation in place to add users to a power user, however the power user won’t receive any notifications on this user (e.g. enrollment in session/unenrollment etc.) unless he/she logs in first. We have a workaround on this with the impersonate feature, but this doesn’t seem like a solid solution.In addition, most of our power users are assigned all courses and learning plans in visible catalogs. Last week we created a new course and assigned it to a visible catalog, but the power users again did not receive any notifications on enrollments (even though the notification to the PU was configured), as they didn’t login before their assigned users decided to enroll in a session of the course. Hi all,Our company is looking to add a bulletin board-type widget to the homepage of our Docebo LMS. Somewhere we can make posts for announcements, updates, etc. for all employees to see.I know that specific widget doesn’t exist in Docebo (yet), but I’m wondering if there are any workarounds or third party solutions that anyone else has found that has worked for them.Our current solution is to have an account with Tribe.so and then iframe in our dashboard using the iframe widget. It works for what we want it to do, but it doesn’t look as clean as we would like it to since there are usually a few items that appear at the top before scrolling down to see the latest post that has been made.Here’s what the iframe looks like when not logged into Tribe (doesn’t allow replies): When logged into Tribe (A lot of stuff on top before seeing the first post): Any ideas out there that have worked for you?
xAPI/Tin Can - can't see/report on answers from "Survey" questions
Hello everybody! My company is just getting started with Docebo and we’re just in the beginning/course planning stage right now. We’re hoping to build courses that use lots of “Survey” (or extended-text) questions. Questions like, “tell us a time where xyz happened”. These would be “challenges” for our staff to complete and their supervisor would review their answers on a monthly basis. I’m running into a few issues with this. Mainly, I’m unable to view survey answers when using an xAPI export of my course. I’ve tried with two different authoring tools with the same result (Elucidat and Storyline). I can only view their answers in Docebo if I export as SCORM instead. And, these answers can become jumbled around and hard to read if the user retakes the course. I’d eventually like to download a file that has everyone’s answers in it. Another issue, is that Survey answers are always marked as incorrect. Ideally, if a user has provided any sort of answer, then it should be “correct”? Has
Is there a downstream impact to changing a course code?
I noticed that the previous admin did on our system not using a consistent course code structure. When I pointed it out, I was tasked with coming up with a standard and bringing the existing courses into compliance with the new standard.Before I go changing things in the production system, I would like to know if there are any down stream impact to making these changes? Reporting, access, transcripts, etc.? Any cautionary tales here?
Direct Access to Course After Self-Registration
Hello, Is there a functionality that navigates a non-registered users to the course after they have successfully registered within Docebo?Use Case:Non-registered user receives the Enrollment Course Link via email campaign, social media, etc. User selects the link, but is unable to access since they are not registered They select ‘Register’ and ‘Submit’ the form User is navigated to the course URL rather than the home pageOther learning platforms have this functionality and I believe it is how we setup the URL redirects but am unsure where to start. Images in HTML widget look fuzzy
I’m playing with the layout of a page and I’m using the HTML widget to display several clickable images (images which are in the image repository found on the WYSIWYG). For some reason they appear just sliiiiiiiiiightly fuzzy, even though they are high resolution images. Any suggestions for fixing this? Maybe I’m sizing the images incorrectly?
So I’ve just started playing with the observation checklists. I think they might be quite a good way to record evidence to support performance goals so a couple of questions that I’m hoping someone will be able to answer.Can you make some of the questions not mandatory to answer? In the ‘new observation checklist to approve’ notification, has anyone worked out a way to add the managers name? I can only add the users name using the [fullname] shortcode. Can you get it to go every 2 weeks for a year? I cannot get it to do this, no matter what dates I put in (I assume I’m just dyslexic on this one and there’s a simple answer) Can the manager or user share a link to the checklist? It would be good to link it up with our performance review software. Creating Playlists/Auto-Publish for Better Adoption
We have found that our users creating playlists are missing the step to publish them once they are created. This causes calls/emails/texts to our product support team and tickets/time to solve something that isn’t really broken, just user error. While auto-publish would be ideal, I realize there may be use cases for wanting to add all assets to a playlist before making it LIVE. Alternatives/Suggestions to meet the goal of adoption: Create a pendo box during the playlist creation that alerts the user to publish before leaving the page Create a system-wide option for a SuperAdmin to ‘auto’ publish all playlists, then create a pendo box that alerts users that the playlist will be visible unless it is ‘not published’ Change the UI to make the publish button more visible when creating playlists
Forum notification only when mentioned or reply?
Hi all!UPDATED: Can someone shed some light on how exactly the “New comment” notification triggers? Say, Jane posted in a thread. John comments. Then Jane responds to that comment. The notification is set up to go to users.Does Jane get notified when John comments? Does John get notified when Jane (or anyone else) responds?I’m a bit swamped right now and would appreciate if someone could enlighten me and I didn’t have to test this myself.And just to confirm:Users cannot unsubscribe from notifications There is no possibility to notify if someone has been mentioned (The only “mention” notification is for “Discover, Coach and Share,” but not for forum interactions.Is that correct? Is the notification system one of the systems that gets an overhaul this year?
Deleting a User from a Group
I have searched this, but I cannot find an answer. I have an automatically generated group. We had a user leave the company. Now I want to delete him from the group he was in. I can switch him to Manual, but there is no way that I see where I can delete him? There are other groups I need to clean up, but again, l cant find a way to delete the user from the group. What am I missing?
OK, who stole the "Course Duration" field in the new Course Management page ?
I just realized that he course duration field is missing from the “Time Options” tab for e-learnings in the latest “Course Management” page. Now I understand that with ‘self paced” learning it is not an exact value but it gives the learner a rough estimate of how long i will take to complete the course ( 5 mins or 5 hours etc.) I see from the courses-users report that the field is still there, but how can we add that info in new courses? So If you stole the field and hid it somewhere safe, can you tell us where and even better ,put it back please? many thanks OK - Found it, it was hiding way down the page in the “details” Tab” pays to read the “heads up” carefully Gary
ILT Course Creation - Missing fields to open/close registrations
Earlier this week, the page layout for ILT course creation changed. We can find no information that these changes were being pushed into our system. Where is this information? The option to open/close course registrations is missing. Anyone else having this issue?
Branches previously did not see pricing, are now seeing pricing for Learning Plans starting Friday.
We have reached out to Docebo’s Support staff but wanted to touch base with the community and see if anyone else is encountering this issue. We currently use the Subscriptions (Licenses) bundles to provide users access to our Learning Plans free of charge (or they can purchase a la carte) as of Thursday last week users were seeing the correct pricing for licenses in which they owned.As of Friday we started to receive reports of pricing appearing despite the license provided including the Learning Plans. We have checked the subscriptions, transactions, tried manually renewing transactions, un-assigning and reassigning seats, removing a user from a branch and re-adding them to the branch. Pretty much every step we could think of down to I’ve even turned off pricing and then turned it back on for the Learning Plans, changed the visibility of the catalogs the LP’s are included in, etc.Has anyone else experienced similar issues or found any form of workaround to a situation similar to this?
How to close subscriptions to an ILT course
The newly released redesign for ILT sessions moved and changed a lot of settings, and there’s one setting we use that I can’t find now. How do I close subscriptions when a course is over? I used to go to Course Management > [select and edit the appropriate course] > Advanced Properties > Catalog Options > Course Subscription and select “Subscriptions are closed,” but I can’t find an equivalent setting for this now.
