Many of our courses do not currently have the course description widget added, meaning that once a user is enrolled, the course description is not visible to them. This is highly problematic, because we have been recording important information about our courses in the course description field, and furthermore we use enrollment rules extensively, which essentially means that nobody can see the descriptions at all.So, we want to add the course description widget to just about all of our courses now. And yet I can’t find a way to do this in bulk. When I query the API for an individual course (either the old learn endpoint or the newer courses endpoint), I get a lot of information for a given course, but almost nothing about the course widgets. I did find GET/learn/v1/courses/[{id}/widgets but unlike some GET requests in the API Browser, attempting to send a PUT request through to the same endpoint doesn’t work (I got a 404 error).So I’m

We have the use case where we offer a VILT course - not through Docebo, I edit and convert the recorded version to an elearning course so that others can take it in the future or those that attended live and re watch it. I want to record the VILT attendance and include it in the new elearning course and I see how to enroll users via CSV that attended the VILT live but to mass mark complete, it doesn’t seem like I can choose the completion date unless I individually go in and mark each person. Is that true or did I miss something? Also, since I am uploading this elearning course 1-2 days after they attended the VILT, is there an issue with me enrolling them 1-2 days after the VILT and then marking them complete 1-2 before they were actually enrolled via CSV upload because they attended the VILT course which already occurred?

I am experimenting with using a deep link on one of my courses that is part of a specific tenant in Docebo Learn.  When I create the enrollment link I get the URL for the Docebo instance, rather than the URL for my tenant. I don’t seem to be able to edit the URL, and when I use it, it brings me back to the login screen (for our instance). The self-registration option has been removed from that login screen because we need all users to be in a tenant branch.Are there any options for me?

They will have additional e-Learning modules in their learning plan that are not attached to the initial certification but must be completed within 60 days. Once all modules have been completed, they will receive a learning plan certificate of completion.  What is the best way to build this out?I tried a true learning plan but had issues with adding two certifications (one to be certified, and the other for completing the learning plan). I tried a course, but I couldn’t figure out how to make both VILT’s a requirement for the certification. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all.Does anyone know if there’s a way to create a link that will bring Power Users to a given Catalog within the Course Management Menu? If I want to highlight new courses that have been created in an email, it would be nice to point to the ‘folder’ in which they’re contained, rather than either writing out the path, or sharing the links for each course individually.Don’t imagine this is a thing, but sometimes these kinds of things actually are things…Thanks!

Hi Is there a way to mark large amount of people complete in a E-Learning. Re-lauching a training but a group needs to be mark complete because they do not have to retake that training.

Hello all,I’m working with my graphics team to create a banner image to put at the top of all of the email notifications that are sent by our platform.  I can’t find any information on what the pixel width of email notifications is to pass on to my graphics team.  I’d like to avoid the trial-and-error route to figure it out.  Does anyone know the answer?Thanks! 

I understand that I can visually see what courses are attached to which notifications.  However the list of courses is displayed as a graphic, is there some way you can have a quick report download that information.   So we know what notification is attached to which course?  We don’t have a good insight or control into what notifications are being used when since we have a few users creating courses in our platform.   As an admin I’d like to be able to see what notification is attached to which course in case we need to audit/troubleshoot.

Hi!  I am wondering if there is a way to create a report that will show which learners completed elearnings within a certain timeframe as well as the answers that they chose.  I already have a report that shows completion date within the last 90 days, course result and course score.  I would like to be able to add to this report.

Hi all, I’m getting to grips with the certifications and retraining app and I would appreciate if someone could help with an issue I have… We have a course that users complete to receive an accreditation. They are accredited for 1 year & then need to renew - luckily they do not have to redo the entire course! We have a shorter test that they can complete instead.  To test I have set up a certificate and added two test courses to it (one to act as the original, one to act as the re-certification) and I think that all works as expected. However even though the expiry is set to 1 year the option to RENEW NOW appears...  Is there a way for this option to only appear, for example, a couple of weeks before expiry?  It is not the biggest problem in the world - the user

Hello 👋 I’m hoping someone can help me with the following question. Can a power user create an ILT session or event that needs to be approved by an admin first . We have Departments that may want to host ILTs/ VLTs on a specific date for a branch , but we might not approve it due to other training schedule the same or other event (inventory ). I would like to eliminate the email back and forth and hopefully process all requests in Docebo.  WorkflowPoweruser A - Submits ILT/VLT for approval of training for branch managed by Poweruser B Poweruser B/ Admin - Receive notice , Poweruser B approves based on their business needs . Admin - Final approval and activate for enrollment , pre-work courses etc.  

Is there a way to run a report to find the average time taken for users to complete a course.  I need to devise a cost analysis per course.  Thanks

Hello,We require New Hires to complete Compliance Training within 45 days but allow Existing Users 60 days to complete the same training. How can we set different Due Dates for Courses based on the target audience? Thank you in advance for your help!

We have been using Certifications for required courses that need to be repeated annually.  We recently ran into an issue where out ability to access certifications or view them has completely disappeared.  End users and Superadmins are unable to see them anywhere.  The problem emerged sometime over the weekend (Jan 7 to Jan 8) Has anyone else encountered this problem before? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

After reading through your comments regarding checklists I have a couple of questions.  First, Im still very new to the LMS Admin role and constantly learning new things. I have been toying with the idea of a checklist to be used for a list of courses, assets and milestones for a project manager role.  The idea being they would work through the requirements of the checklist as a way to prep for a project management role.     Is that how it should work?  I think I read that if you put a course into a checklist, I would need to duplicate the course for access through the course catalog as a stand alone e-learning course. True? Any suggestions? Thoughts? Opinions? 

Would love to see if anyone has figured out an automatic notification workflow here. Use Case: We have two Orientation Learning Plans get assigned on a learner’s hire date. Each course within the Learning Plan has a 14 day deadline to allow for a soft deadline. At that point, a notification goes out to the new learner and their manager about the assignment. We would, then, like to send reminders on Day 5 and Day 10 to the learner only IF the Learning Plan is not complete (it’s ok if we tie it to the courses). The language in the Day 5 and Day 10 reminder are slightly different. Then, we have past due notifications (using Notification of Digest: Course Has Expired) going out daily to the user and weekly to the manager. Questions: Is there a way to set up the Day 5 and Day 10 notification to go out incorporating Enrollment status and time from enrollment in the course? Could I use the

Can anyone help me to differentiate between “In Review” and “New Only” under the Assets to Review/Approve tab on the My Expert Tasks page please? I tested by approving and rejecting an asset, adding another expert to the Channel, but couldn’t seem to find a difference. 

I understand that Channels are intended for informal learning and more engaging interactions. But it seems like there’s no way to enable the “Ask the Expert” and “Mention” Settings when adding an eLearning Course to a Channel. I thought that’s the purpose for allowing to add a course to a Channel so that users can interact and comment on the course that we want to. My question is, then what difference it’s making by adding a course to a Channel? I can’t wrap my head around it. If there’s a way to enable the features (for a eLearning course added to a Channel) it would be wonderful!!!! 

Hello! Has anyone found a good solution to utilizing enrollment caps and waitlists for paid external courses? When testing the functionality, we found that to be placed on a waitlist, someone has to pay the full price of the course which seems unreasonable. The ideal would be they’re added to a waitlist when a course is full and only when they’re removed from the waitlist and enrolled in the course are they charged. Otherwise we’d be issuing refunds non-stop for those who paid to be on a waitlist but were never enrolled.  Currently, we’re utilizing an external Excel to manually manage waitlists for courses and it doesn’t seem like a sustainable solution. Is there a way to leverage coupons? Create a course that’s a waitlist itself? Any thoughts or recommendations are welcomed!

Is there a way to include the ILT location in an ILT report? I don’t see that field listed anywhere…..but I could just be missing it.

Do we have the ability to control content we deem as new instead of it being new until the user enrolls and starts a lesson? I’d like to have the option of showing content as New regardless if the users have taken the course or not.
