Hello!We newly onboarded with Docebo and have hit a wall with our annual training classes - my company is in manufacturing, so we have 100’s of courses that are required by law. In our old LMS we could re-enroll the learners in the same course and move on, apparently that’s not a thing in Docebo. I’ve read that you have to rename/reload the courses so that the leaners can be enrolled. Is there another way to do this? This will create a lot of work, and we don’t have an LMS admin. For anyone that does this, how does this effect your manager’s ability to access reports? Is it as time consuming as it sounds, or can you duplicate the course and then change the name? Thanks,Sarah  

Can external links to Loom videos be included in a course? 

Hi all! We’re planning to turn on the new course player in December. Currently, we rely heavily on using our old enrollment links with external users and have circulated these links for quite some time so they are shared in a lot of places. When we turn on the new course player, we need these old enrollment links to still work and not break. I’m reaching out to see if anyone can verify this that has already turned on the new course player! Also, the new “unique course url” can anyone explain exactly how this works? Will users be able to simply copy and paste the top url on the page now and share it or is this also a link that is generated and hidden that we’ll need to share?  

Hi There, How can I check to make sure my API calls are to the Sandbox, and not going to/from the live site? I would like to test some calls, but I don’t want to post them to our live site. We recently synced the sandbox as well, so if there are settings I should be altering to make sure they’re separate, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hi all,Just wondering if anyone knows the CSS code required to change the font size of closed captions in the video player. I contacted support and they told me the only way to change the size is with CSS. Also, does anyone know if it’s possible to have a dynamic font size that adjusts to the size of the screen? The closed captions look really small when viewed in full screen mode.Thanks,Daniel 

I’ve given a Power User full permissions for Courses and for Users. But when I log in as them to verify that they can edit an enrolled user’s status as ‘Instructor’, as was specifically requested, they do not have the option.Am I missing a permission or something? I have Power Users with fewer permissions who can do this...

Dear Docebo team. New user here. My team wants to create a landing page which contains 4 buttons (e.g. “Topic 1”, “Topic 2”, “Topic 3” and “Topic 4”) and each button goes to a different page, and our idea is to have only the courses for the specific topic in each page. We have uploaded the courses and created one Learning Plan for each topic. However, we’re not successfully managing on how to show only the “Topic 1” Leaning Plan when the user clicks on the “Topic 1” button. We have inserted the “Courses and Learning Plans” widget on each page, but they show all the courses and learning plans that the user is assigned. Is it possible to filter the courses on each page so they can only see the courses and learning plans related to the topic of the page?

Hi everyone, hope you are well. I am having a small UI issue. Prior to the last platform update, the “Lesson completed successfully” banner was white in colour, however, it is now gone black and I am not able to find anywhere on the settings how to change the background colour of this banner. Any advise would really be appreciated.   

Hi Docebo, I am struggling to obtain an access token via PowerBI. I started from DanBrill’s helpful post here:  But I am hitting the same general issue that user gogrizz mentioned several posts down. PowerBI sends an error that it is not able to authenticate with the credentials provided.  PowerBI is able to retrieve a token using the Client Credentials grant type, but this token will not allow me to use the 7.0 APIs (as mentioned in the Docebo Help File https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082060-APIs-authentication#h_01HJ6PBHP8F9MNAGNRSSJ7H9FK) This is particularly confusing because I am able to obtain a working access token using the same credentials through other apps like Insomnia. I feel like there must be a credential type mismatch somewhere that I’m missing, but I am fully stuck on where to look. Hi all,Does anyone know of a way to pull a report that includes both courses and the catalogs associated to the courses? 

I have a customer who would like to know what days and how much time was spent on each day for a user on her team.  I know in Personal Summary she can see the last date the person logged in, and the total amount of time spent.  She would like to see if or when one of her users logs in on a weekend.  She also wants to see how much time was spent on each day.  If that is not something she can do as a Team Manager, then is there a report I can run on my end that will show these details?

I have our branches set up by our senior leadership. Our CPO resigned but there are still inactive users in her branch so I cannot delete her branch. What is the best practice for deleting a branch with inactive users. Do you create an inactive branch and move them Inactive users over?

We’re going to open a ticket with Support, but I was also curious if anyone else had experienced this issue - a few of our learners reached out today after receiving their digest email of courses in progress. One of their incomplete learning plans is showing up on the Completed page, even though one of the courses is still in progress. The courses due date was 3/31/24, but the course has a soft deadline, so they should still be able to access it. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the learning plan might be on the Completed page even though it’s not complete?

Hello, I have a page that I would like to nest within another page; it basically provides the user with additional information on a learning program, so it makes sense for it to be nested within that main page, so that the breadcrumbs would reflect this hierarchy.Is there no option for that? Or can I somehow manipulate the breadcrumbs to achieve the desired effect? Thank you.

A general question - we are being mandated to track the why “a something happened” inside of the learning system. We supplied an audit (from the audit trail) from the learning system, but it is not something that is part of a learners profile and may be missed as part of other audits. Other systems that we have worked with in the past support adding a note to a persons profile as a type of light learning object. It was meant to not burden the administrator with needing to keep adding an additional field to reporting but was something that could be recalled on a user level - where this will probably be used the most - and not as part of their user data.In light of that learning object not really being available, I know I am talking myself into adding a field.Just checking - has anyone gone down this path? How did you implement????

When a power user is buying a subscription, how do they choose the number of licenses in a flexible manner?A little background: we use Docebo for customer training. Each customer may want a different number of licenses, ranging from 1 to potentially hundreds. The only way I’ve found to allow them to select the number of licenses in the single subscription purchase is to create a separate plan for each license count (plan 1 = 1 license, plan 2 = 2 licenses, plan 500 = 500 licenses). Of course, that is not practical to do. I’m guessing I’m missing something obvious?  

I’m pretty sure the answer is no, Docebo currently does not do this but need to confirm. Is it possible to upload test questions to the Question Bank using GIFT? If not, what I find so odd about this, is when you import a GIFT file to create a test, you can assign the questions a category that is made in the Question Bank.

Talk to me about your strategy for “upcoming deadline” notifications… We’ve built reminders for ILT sessions that are sent several days prior to the session starting. They include calendar attachments, which are nice feature. We also have one that is sent an hour before the ILT event starts that includes a “join” button. We’ve also built “you have a course due in one week” and “in one day” notifications based on expiration date. These feel especially useful for compliance-type training, among other e-learning courses. My hope was to use these as nudges for e-learning only -- not ILT sessions --  but it looks like this notification sends for both. I’m worried about users getting e-mail fatigue since an ILT enrollee will receive the following emails for a single enrollment… Course due in one week (7 days prior) ILT session starts in two days (2 days prior) Course due in one day (1 day prior) ILT event starts in one hour (day of event) Ideally, notifications #1 and #3 above would only sen

Does anybody know if it is possible to automatically send an email notification to users when their expiration date is approaching? Say one month before? I would like to do this for the main expiration date found in the User Management area, not the expiry date linked to the Subscriptions App.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

One of our SMEs wants to host a course where staff will:Watch a video Complete an assessment Sign a waiverThe waiver is an official form provided by a governing agency, so we need to use their form. The second half of this step is that the SME then needs to fill out the bottom half of the form confirming that the staff member completed all training. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to manage this? I’m wondering if I can do something where the learner esigns the form and it is automatically sent to our SME, then she would execute it and send it back. I don’t think this is something we can track in the Learning Hub though?

More of a basic question… When I need to edit the wording or timing of a notification email for an ILT coming up, do I need to unenroll everyone, edit it, then re-enroll users? Or can I just edit it and save and activate and all the users enrolled will get the updated notification?
