Hello, We are coming close to our annual trainings for the entire company and I hit a roadblock when setting up badges, leaderboard, and contest because I do not see any option to show by branches instead of individually. Is there an option using these three options to show which Branch completed all their Annual trainings first, second, third, etc. Thank you!

I have a power user who I’ve assigned all courses and learning plans but she doesn’t have Course Management on her Admin menu. Here’s her permissions: What am I missing?

Hi, I have a question and was wondering if anyone of you know a better way to do this. We have compliance courses that are actually the same courses completed 5 to 6 times in an year. When a learner has completed it 5 times in an year, it would only pull the latest completion date rather than all the 5 different completion dates through out the year. What other work around could be done except for creating new courses everytime a new completion date has to be assigned to a learner.

We have a request to make an elearning course visible only to members of our People Manager group. The course is optional for people managers, so will be configured for self-enrollment, and needs to be within an existing catalog on our main page. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Hello all!I’m in a pickle. I have a list of people’s usernames who may or may not be users in my Docebo system.I want to do a mass deletion of any of these users that are in my system.Here are the problems:It looks like I cannot do a mass deletion this way, but I can expire the users. That’s fine, I can just delete after. (Unless there IS a way to mass delete via CSV?) HOWEVER - I really don’t want any usernames that are on the list to be imported. If a username on the list isn’t currently in Docebo, I want it to be ignored.Is this possible?Thank you for your help in advance!

Hello, everyone!I’m currently looking into adding IT training into our platform, and our team is looking into if there are integrations in any way, even if it’s with Connect, to pull data from Pluralsight to Docebo or even host those videos here. Unfortunately my searching is failing me and I can’t seem to find an answer one way or the other without hitting walls, so has anyone here used Pluralsight at all?

What happens if I put a course under maintenance while a user is taking it? Will it kick out anyone who is taking it, or will it only prevent users from starting it. I’m trying to push an updated SCORM file to the course, but I’m finding it hard to find a time when no one is in the middle of training. 

Hi everyone, Have looked everywhere for an answer to this, but have not been successful. We use a play button thumbnail for all our eLearning. However, we need to make adjustments to the play button, but as far as I can tell, we can’t replace an existing thumbnail?  Is the only way to replace it, by deleting the old one, and uploading the new one. Then have to go an replace it on all eLearning content?

Hi all.I’m trying to remember how to give Power Users administrative rights to a certificate template. I know it’s a needlessly complex process, but I thought I knew how to do it. Either I don’t recall at all, or it’s no longer working, or it’s not working on the Sandbox. Because I went to test something on it & I cannot get a PU to see the cert they created at all.I thought that you had to assign the cert to a course they could enroll in. then once they completed the course & received the cert, they could also access it as an administrator & assign it to other courses. But this has failed on me several times in a row.Am I missing something or it just not working altogether?Thanks,Nate

I have a VILT course that includes both training and lab time with the instructor. Once completed, users can take an optional exam. We've recently launched a self-paced version of the training course, paired with a separate lab course that users can complete at their convenience. We cannot combine the two courses because the lab requires setup and has limited availability, so scheduling is necessary.Essentially, after completing the course, users receive a notification to sign up for lab time. Once both the self-paced training and lab courses are finished, they can take the optional exam. We are now trying to determine how to mark the self-paced training and lab courses as equivalent to the VILT course.We don’t think there’s an existing way to do this, but I wanted to explore the possibility here. Could we create a group (user automatically added if they complete the elearning and lab) and use auto rules to automatically enrolls users into a “proxy” course that we could then use to mar

I was asked if we issue a certificate of competency for completing a learning plan if it could be shared on social media with linkage back to the LMS for validation and details. I know Credly badges work this way, but I don’t think Docebo certificates do. My understanding is course/learning plan certificates are downloadable as PDF only. I searched the documentation and the community and didn’t see a way to do this. Before I tell me stakeholder no, I wanted to triple check with the community to make sure I’m not missing a cool feature. 

Hi there! For those who have activated the latest docebo features, has anyone successfully removed the gradient from the header image using CSS? This is the course overview page one lands on when they click on an unenrolled course from the course catalog. I know Docebo University has coded the gradient out for their own purposes but am having hard time figuring out the CSS in this particular instance where a page ID isn’t evident. Note: i have not activated the new features yet, and am not sure if that impacts what I’m looking at in the code. Thank you all! 

Hi all, I have a very specific ask from my director for reporting on a course and I’m trying to figure out how to deliver it.We have a certification course where we need to see how many users at a property (we are a hotel brand) have completed it. The goal is 3+, but I also need to show which have just 2 people, and which only 1. We are trying to demonstrate ROI for our training. I can of course run a completion report for the course and get a full list of users who have completed the certification. But the only way I’ve found to get more detail than that is to manually sort in Excel and color the cells and then sort by color, which takes forever. I’m going to have to produce this data monthly so I need something more automated. Do I need to figure out some Excel magic formula for this task, or is there some way in Docebo of doing this? I’m not a programmer and wouldn’t know how to, for example, dig into the API browser and write up something to parse the data the way I need (X users w

I want to duplicate a test and delete/modify some questions for another purpose. The thing is I have categories associated with my questions and they are not included in the GIFT export. I don’t have the question in the Test Bank because we test on the sandbox and then use GIFT export/import into production and you cannot import into the Test Bank. I can assign the categories but the only way I know how to do that is one question at a time, not very efficient. Any help or suggestions welcome. 

Hello!We newly onboarded with Docebo and have hit a wall with our annual training classes - my company is in manufacturing, so we have 100’s of courses that are required by law. In our old LMS we could re-enroll the learners in the same course and move on, apparently that’s not a thing in Docebo. I’ve read that you have to rename/reload the courses so that the leaners can be enrolled. Is there another way to do this? This will create a lot of work, and we don’t have an LMS admin. For anyone that does this, how does this effect your manager’s ability to access reports? Is it as time consuming as it sounds, or can you duplicate the course and then change the name? Thanks,Sarah  

Can external links to Loom videos be included in a course? 

Hi all! We’re planning to turn on the new course player in December. Currently, we rely heavily on using our old enrollment links with external users and have circulated these links for quite some time so they are shared in a lot of places. When we turn on the new course player, we need these old enrollment links to still work and not break. I’m reaching out to see if anyone can verify this that has already turned on the new course player! Also, the new “unique course url” can anyone explain exactly how this works? Will users be able to simply copy and paste the top url on the page now and share it or is this also a link that is generated and hidden that we’ll need to share?  

Hi There, How can I check to make sure my API calls are to the Sandbox, and not going to/from the live site? I would like to test some calls, but I don’t want to post them to our live site. We recently synced the sandbox as well, so if there are settings I should be altering to make sure they’re separate, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hi all,Just wondering if anyone knows the CSS code required to change the font size of closed captions in the video player. I contacted support and they told me the only way to change the size is with CSS. Also, does anyone know if it’s possible to have a dynamic font size that adjusts to the size of the screen? The closed captions look really small when viewed in full screen mode.Thanks,Daniel 

I’ve given a Power User full permissions for Courses and for Users. But when I log in as them to verify that they can edit an enrolled user’s status as ‘Instructor’, as was specifically requested, they do not have the option.Am I missing a permission or something? I have Power Users with fewer permissions who can do this...

Dear Docebo team. New user here. My team wants to create a landing page which contains 4 buttons (e.g. “Topic 1”, “Topic 2”, “Topic 3” and “Topic 4”) and each button goes to a different page, and our idea is to have only the courses for the specific topic in each page. We have uploaded the courses and created one Learning Plan for each topic. However, we’re not successfully managing on how to show only the “Topic 1” Leaning Plan when the user clicks on the “Topic 1” button. We have inserted the “Courses and Learning Plans” widget on each page, but they show all the courses and learning plans that the user is assigned. Is it possible to filter the courses on each page so they can only see the courses and learning plans related to the topic of the page?

Hi everyone, hope you are well. I am having a small UI issue. Prior to the last platform update, the “Lesson completed successfully” banner was white in colour, however, it is now gone black and I am not able to find anywhere on the settings how to change the background colour of this banner. Any advise would really be appreciated.   

Hi Docebo, I am struggling to obtain an access token via PowerBI. I started from DanBrill’s helpful post here:  But I am hitting the same general issue that user gogrizz mentioned several posts down. PowerBI sends an error that it is not able to authenticate with the credentials provided.  PowerBI is able to retrieve a token using the Client Credentials grant type, but this token will not allow me to use the 7.0 APIs (as mentioned in the Docebo Help File https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082060-APIs-authentication#h_01HJ6PBHP8F9MNAGNRSSJ7H9FK) This is particularly confusing because I am able to obtain a working access token using the same credentials through other apps like Insomnia. I feel like there must be a credential type mismatch somewhere that I’m missing, but I am fully stuck on where to look.
