Using Wire Transfer payment method to mimic invoicing…When we first launched eCommerce, we found that there was no option that would allow us to BILL our customers. We had a look at the Wire Transfer method and found that with a little tweaking, we could use this to mimic the invoicing process. when a user checks out and selects the WT option, the transactions and access to the course remains in a “pending” status until the admin marks it as PAID. We use the eCommerce Transaction report to export our transactions and send them over to accounting system via ftp (this part is optional and requires an accounting system that allows this type of connection or some kind of import tool). The Tweaks:added some Additional Fields to the user profiles to capture information needed by the accounting system updated WT labels in Localization with language that better fits and invoice method created an internal pr

Hello,When I was designing courses last year, I found it endlessly frustrating that everyone is always white in clipart. With the power of AI, I’ve been using Midjourney to create tons of diverse clipart which I’m making available free, no attribution required (if that’s allowed in your country; many countries do not allow waiving of attribution). We are a Utility Company for Gas and Electric Services for the city.  We maintain the Electricity and Gas for our Customers.  With that said we have lots of people who work in the field who have to Qualify to perform certain tasks.  We call that Operation Qualifications.  Basically if you haven't passed what we call a KNT online course and shown by means of a PEF (Performance Evaluation - someone seen you do the task in person) then you can't do the task.  We maintain this information on who is qualified to do such a task and reports are ran daily to show the information that is updated.  People have to requalify depending on the task either every 12 months, 24 months, 36 months, 60 months.  

Hi Community!I am about to start work on developing a system of thumbnails with our designer that are cohesive, simple and tell the user what they are looking at without having to open a course/asset. I want to create a consistent brand experience and use the thumbnails to support content management for the different types of content, users and learning objects. Feeling inspired by the share from cshrecengost in the Design and creative ways of using your platform discussion, I’d LOVE to see how you have handled this in your platform. 

Hello all,I’d like to share some success I have had creating custom notification emails with https://beefree.io/, and then porting these into Docebo. Below is a screenshot of an email that uses the [COURSE_LINK] shortcode, among others.  As our users access our platform via Single Sign-on/OKTA, all of the links used here take our users straight to the relevant content without the need to sign in.  @james.buhagiar thought other Docebo customers might benefit from seeing this, so here it is!Any questions, drop me a line.Jon

So I know it’s late on a Friday, but I have something that might be useful to the community. It isn’t perfect, but please try to break it and give feedback.When uploading test questions to the LMS, you can do it manually, or upload a GIFT formatted .txt file.Well, there really aren’t many GIFT formatting apps out there. Also, docebo seems to use a non moodle standard format that is very similar, but not the same. So I made an app. It is a static page that will give you the specs you need to follow to upload correctly. Hi ThereWe are looking at settign up a ILT with multiple sessions and events, we would like the managers to enrol there team members into specifc sessions, though on testing we seem to be only able to enrol them at the course level with admin/poweruser having to enrol into session. Does anyone have a work around? we dont have the commerce module as nothing is chargable but we dont want individals self enrolling directly either

Is anyone using coupons to award training credits to their users?  We would like to use the coupon functionality to award a set dollar amount of credit to our institutions.  The users at the institutions should then be able to register for course(s) and the discount be applied up to the total amount. If the users course is less than the discount amount, the balance should be applied toward the next user transaction.In our testing, we are finding that if the coupon is available to multiple users, each are able to apply the total discount amount to their cart balance. If the transaction is less than the coupon discount value, the remaining balance is not applied to the next user.We are interested to know if anyone else has this type of situation, and how it was handled. Thanks

Hello fellow Docebo users! For those who have struggled to add custom tags to content (myself included), tags can be added via the Central Repository!! See the attachment and happy TAGGING! 

I dont know if this is a bug or not.But check this out - I know you can reproduce this:Go into any course enrollment with alot of people in it that you used groups to populate. Filter to just that group with the filters tools. Click on the green check box to select the row of people on your screen Now click on select all at the bottom of the enrollment You land up with ALL instead of the filtered value. This feels like a bug….no?With this fixed? I could en masse change a validity date for a course….send an email to just a group... 

Going live with my daily wordle and weekly jeopardy - wish me luck! Wordle is a completely “custom” app based on “Reactle” and our subtitles. If anyone goes this route, happy to share my python script for scanning a directory of VTT files and making a de-duplicated list of 5 letter words. It handles streaks itself. In the future I plan to tie it more deeply to the LMS - currently it runs all on its own in an iframe and changes the word at midnight each night Chicago time (our HQ). Taught myself python in 1 hour! It’s pretty easy (I do have 25 years of on-and-off coding experience). Jeopardy is an iframe implementation of JeopardyLabs which is an awesome site and costs $20 lifetime. Highly recommended! Art by me and freepik. I made the jeopardy players more diverse. It is hard AF to find diverse clipart. Also obviously I photoshopped my portal in there. So meta!

I watched a group of healthcare professionals move their teams from just knowing the course is out on Wednesday night to a whopping 96% completion rate.You’ve gotta move it move it, you’ve gotta move it move it….And so I thought this one would be good to share.
