We have created a Learning Plan that is linked to a certification exam. Courses to the learning plan are added one at a time. We would like that when a new course is added to a learning plan that the email notification that goes to the learner who is enrolled in the LP include the name of the new course that was added to the LP as well as a direct link to the new course or LP. Right now the message is pretty generic saying that a new course has been added and a link that goes to Docebo but not to the LP or course specifically.

I have a 2 day course that is in-person/instructor led.  Some are required to attend both days and some only 1 day.  The associates who attend both days will receive 8 CEU and the associates who only attend 1 day will receive 4 CEU.  Is there a way to differentiate this in Docebo without creating 2 different courses?

What would you like to name the group? Missouri User Group Who would this group be for? Docebo admins who are located in Missouri. This group would be used to network, share best-practices, and share workaround solutions during in-person or virtual quarterly meetings. How would individuals benefit from this group? This would also be a wonderful way to network with other companies who use Docebo within Missouri and to learn from one another. I had participated in something similar with a different LMS and it was great especially when the LMS had a customer meet up in our area! What sort of topics would you like to cover in this group? During the user group meetings, the alternating meeting host will coordinate the meeting logistics. We will have 1-2 customers share best-practices/tips & tricks/custom workaround solutions/system knowledge/etc., then host a Q&A session. 

With Virtual Coach (VC) deprecation, there were talks about “accelerating development and deployment of features better suited for the outcomes” for customers. Do we have a timeline as to when we will have an updated version of the VC? And if not VC, will there be something to take its place in terms of a Chatbot in the near future? 

Hello, is there a way for trainers to have access to a page with downloadable content (PDF, video), like a file repository but that is not included ion a course, I would love to have a place were I can put all the content I want available for instructors only without having to publish them one by one in all the courses.How do you guys work with that ?Thank you.

We want to define courses that are configured with self-enrollment allowed with Approval.  We want the employee’s manager to have to approve their employee’s enrollment in such classes.  We know the manager has to be a power user.  But I’m unsure exactly which permissions and which resources need assigned.  We need to apply the minimum permissions needed. We’ve created a page with the task list widget with “Course enrollment approvals” turned on, and added this page to the manager’s menu so they could see what users are waiting for approval for enrollment. We do have a group matching the manager’s direct reports  assigned as a resource.  What specific permissions need granted in the profile assigned to the Power User manager?  And what resources must be assigned?  Between resources and permissions there’s so many options and I’ve not yet hit on a combination that allows the manager to approve.  Has someone else achieved this and can advise?

HelloWe are automatically adding users to a new group based on completing a specific learning plan. When they are in the new group, they will see a new home page. This works very well. However, we also want to automatically remove users from the previous group. Docebo help indicates:We are unable to determine how to configure the conditions that will automatically remove users from the previous group. Has anyone done this? If yes, how was it done?Thank you,

Hi all, just wondering if there is a way to view ratings from individual delegates on a course? I’ve enabled star ratings and comments however I can’t seem to find these ratings and comments anywhere on the course. 

Curious if anyone would like to share their experience on how they solved for prioritizing recommended v. required content for learners in the platform.We have received feedback from groups of more active learners with a large number of cards in their ‘My courses and learning plans’ that it would be nice to have a visual color scheme to differentiate course statuses.  Similar to the idea outlined here: Course cards status formats | Community (docebo.com) In testing, we have found that updating the colors section in advanced settings for ‘Confirmation Messages’ can address this, but also impacts the color of the search bar? We are of the opinion that managing these changes with CSS introduces risk that they will break. 

Is anyone using Captivate for creating their SCORM lessons and using the new UI?The old UI had no issue. With the new UI, if you play the lesson in the default view, it will mark complete. However, if you click the icon to make the player bigger, it will not mark complete.I have this issue in with support but it’s been over a month and they don’t have a reply yet other than saying it’s my Captivate file, which I did extensive testing and don’t believe that is the case, nor can possibly be the case when it marks complete in the standard view.  Is anyone else using Captivate and can replicate this? Learners are frustrated.

Good day.In chat this morning with Megan, we learned that the Certifications and Retraining functionality is not available on the mobile app, which is very disappointing as we are in the process of rolling out the app to employees that will not be able to complete their Certifications and Retraining on their mobile device.  Many of our courses have a yearly certifications and Retraining required and not having this functionality on the app. hinders what our employees can do.  I did chat with Megan, chat recap #778985  

Anyone who currently has Coach & Share or is considering purchasing it, please check out the details on the Idea titled - "Invite To Watch" Disable option - where any learner has the ability to send mass notifications to ALL learners in your platform. There is no way for us to disable this feature, so if you are using Coach & Share and not aware or are considering purchasing it, please check out the Idea and upvote it in hopes that we can get some movement to get this changed. I have been previewing the new course player on our system, and I have noticed that it doesn’t seem to work with playlists. At the moment you select a playlist it takes you to the first course and displays a black bar at the bottom of the screen which contain the course list. But when I viewed this in the new course player it just took me to the first course and doesn’t display the bar at all. Is this just because it is a preview, or will the playlist functionality stop working with the new course player?

Since the changes Docebo made in January 2024, we now get errors when trying to use the ‘Send Email’ function. To elaborate: it appears this function is pulling the ‘from email address’ from the ‘user email field’ rather than the ‘email sender domain’ field for our subdomain. We opened a ticket and the response from Docebo was the sender would need to manually update their ‘from email address’ when using this feature which makes this feature too tedious to be useful. It would be helpful if we could configure the default ‘from address’ to match the ‘email sender domain’ without impacting SSO which is based on the apex domain. 

How can I check in the community which ideas have been upvoted by me? I do not mean my own ideas. THANK YOU!

This feedback is regarding the new SCORM player. The new player is too busy. Too many buttons and places to click.It requires more clicks to start a course. Improvements should make it easier to start a course, not more difficult. After clicking the start eLearning button, the user has to click another start eLearning button. The second click is just wasted time and an extra click. Especially since there is still another start/resume button to click after this!The learning plan page header is way too big. The main feature of interest on this page is the list of courses, not the header.The right side of the learning plan page is wasted now. Especially the learning plan details (Does any student need to know the learning plan ID?) The Average time is on the left side above the course list and just duplicated on the right. The “time to complete” information could easily be put on the left above the course list. The progress area takes up too much space and y

Dear all,we are highly depending on Custom CSS and is it really important to know when Docebo is updating/changing something within the CSS.At the moment Docebo does not inform their customers on CSS changes. They just add the changes to the sandbox and 7 days later they add them to the live environment.To be 100% sure that we are not surprised by these kind of changes, we need to check the Sandbox on a daily basis (which is not doable). If we then see any changes, we need to find out what exactly changes and then solve it. With minor changes we are able to manage this within 7 days, but when it is a bit bigger, it can get tricky to be able to solve it before it goes live.Therefore I would like it when Docebo at leasts gives a heads up that they are changing something and preferably which areas they are changing (high level). In this way we know that changes are coming and in which area the changes will take place. This saves us a lot of time and effort i

Howdy all!  Has anyone else noticed the new course player bar obscures captions? In the current player, the captions appear neatly and visibly above the course player bar. Not so with the new incoming course player bar.The issue seems to be the hover settings for the bar are very sensitive, so the slightest move of mouse/cursor brings up the bar, obscuring captions. This is not good UX for our customers who certainly like to move their cursors around during videos (!)Any workaround/suggestions to improve this? Reducing the bar opacity via CSS perhaps?   

Hi, Ive been uploading external training with no issues for the past couple of weeks.The last 2 days, I keep getting an error message. “Form submit failed: error-     “ Does anyone know any reason for this? or what I can do to fix it. Thanks 

Not sure if this belongs here, but we recently setup an ILT course with 5 sessions (one event per session). Learners only have to attend one session/event. We have found that after the initial enrollment is complete, if they need to change sessions, the popup only shows the date and the “time zone math” -- not the time of the session/event. I confirmed this with support and the work arounds are to either force unenrollment and re-enrollment, which honestly I think would cause more confusion, or I came up with just adding the times to the name of the session. This is ok, but still requires the learner to do time zone math. Any other ideas? Pic # 1 -- no session/event times showing Pic #2 -- I added the times manually to the name of the session

Hello Docebo Community, Anyone uses Articulate Rise to export xAPI content into Docebo and is having issues with completion synching in Docebo? This issue is sporadic for us. Some of our learner’s view is 100% on the content side but its not updated on the platform. Any information is greatly appreciated.   

I need to create a field so that when I need to extend a due date on a required course, I can add the reason I’m doing so.  For instance, the user is on LOA.  This way when we go through our annual audits and I’m asked why the date was changed, I’ll be able to give them the reason.Is this done by Additional Field?  How would I go about doing it?

Hi team,We have tested the new preview mode and here is our feedback:Course/LP Description should have more space allocated - 10 rows. As all descriptions are longer than 3 rows. Syllabus should be kept in both views ( pre-enrolment and after-enrolment as well). In our case we typically allocate the LPs to the audience as part of Onboarding and they land directly on the already enrolled view. And it will be nice to also have the possibility to see the syllabus, as it is the case for pre-enrollment. It's important for them to see exact what to expect for each course. Is there no “X” button for exit the courses? I think one it’s needed. Test view is also changed - it will be nice to still keep showing the type of questions from test ( single vs multiple etc.)Thanks,Dani Mihai
