Hi all,A couple of questions about the Central Repository.If I revise a survey in the Central Repository, are the changes automatically reflected to all courses that contain the survey? If the answer to question 1 is no, is there a way to reflect the changes to all courses in one action?
We have a lot of confused staff members when it comes to renewing mandatory training and understanding learning plans. All staff get attached to a learning plan with 7 mandatory e-learning modules, however 4 of the modules are to be ‘renewed’ in 2 years. When those 2 years are up staff will be expected to go to the ‘refresher’ section to renew.If staff go back to the learning plan when some of the modules are due to be renewed, it will still say the plan is 100% complete and if they click onto the courses in the plan it will not take them to the correct renewal place, rather it will take them to the old attempt. so...my question is, can anyone advise if there is anyway of having a widget on the home page which shows when a course is due to be renewed? I already have a button that takes them to the ‘refresher area’ but it would be great if there was a widget on the home page which listed the courses due to be renewed to surface this information.
We have a 5 day leadership programme for staff. In this programme we need course materials, chat area, ability to book a coaching session etc etc.We have built this in MS Teams as we needed to get it up and running quickly and it seemed the easiest way of being able to break down the content into ‘days’ and be able to share files via links or sharing. ideally we’d like to have this in the LMS. Does anyone know if we can achieve something similar in the LMS? I have had a look but can’t see any way of creating something that’s as easy to get into and easy to layout the way we want.Here is a picture. You can see across the top we have the content broken into day 1, day 2 etc. We can also create channels for different cohorts, and the delegates can post their own comments into the ‘posts’ area. Can something similar be created in Docebo?
There are courses in our compliance training catalog that are required for certain individuals and optional for others. However, when I’m reporting completion data, I need to be able to differentiate between those who were assigned the course and those who enrolled on their own. How can I filter out just the ones that are required to take the training?
I am working on creating “standard” notifications that power users can assign to their courses in Docebo. We do not turn on notifications for All Courses and Learning plans because there are courses where we may not want to use the default notifications. I recently ran into a snag with PU access. I learned that for the PU to be able to attach a course to a notification, they must have access to All Courses and Learning Plans AND All Users.This restricts me from being able to give PUs access to only the courses they SHOULD have access to. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you work around it?
Hello,Was wondering if anyone has experience setting up an ILT course to span several days?In it’s simplest form users can access the ILT course via webinar or classroom setting.But what if you have multiple classrooms, in different time zones?And if the session is to span more than one day would you need to create a second event for the second day? So there must be at least one event for each day?Would it be best practice to add events and separate them by classroom or location? I don’t want to over engineer this, however it seems very confusing to figure out how to setup.I know it’s a bunch, but thanks in advance.
Hello, I”m having the same problem and I was wondering what the fix is? I tried every combinationof formats. I’m clearly missing something. It’s imperative that I’m able to import events on existing sessions. Most of the time the “Time_End” throws the error. It doesn’t error out on Time_Beginning column. Also how do you stop excel from putting AM PM?I even took the template that downloads and it failed using that.I formatted the column in excel as well as the cell to match what docebo requests.Can anyone assist with a work around? Or provide exact syntax and or formatting with maybe a couple of words on how you made it to work?I’m uploading the file as well. It’s just one record, because I’m trying to get it to import.Thank you in Advance!
When we started with Docebo our account manager said that assets shared to channels would automatically fall off after 90 days. Assets shared to channels in January are still showing. I manually cleaned up the channels. Do all assets have to be removed manually or is there a way to set up this 90-day auto removal? I’ve scoured the KB and can’t find anything that talks about the 90 days advised by the account manager.
I’m encouraged to the see the columns in the manager reports tidied up. If we could choose the columns then that would be fantastic...but every little helps i guess.My question is about the reports button. nearly everyone i speak to didnt even realise there was a reports tab when viewing their team. Is there any way (perhaps by using CSS) that we can make this tab a bit more obvious?
I hope someone can solve this!Our users want to take notes while watching the course videos. They either were opening a PDF or word document and tooknotes while watching the videos.But now, we are having complaint that they can’t do it anymore as the video stops as soon as they click outside the LMS window. Any idea how to fix this?Thank you :)
Hi, how could I Manage the courses for Deactivated user profiles?We have a situation where user profiles get deactivated, the enrolled courses are still showing as due/In progress in our Admin task widgets in our Docebo Landing/Home page.Our Power User admins were seeing the Inactive users course details for an action item. How you manage the courses from Inactive user Profiles? Are you unenrolled them from the courses?
Does Docebo post their product roadmap for year anywhere? If not, would they be willing to? I know that’s a slippery slope because things can change, but it’d be super helpful to get a high level idea of where your team is planning on going each year, and then see the next year around Q4. It’d really help us in planning our own internal roadmap (also flexible and tentative.) If this doesn’t exist and makes more since for an idea, I can post there.
I heard that they are working to get the Background Audeo to work for NON-branded Mobile users. Is there any timeline?Our Marketing department is announcing a new Podcast series THIS WEEK. I would like them to postpone it until we can incorporate it directly into docebo mobile so that we are not sending people OUTSIDE our learning system. I have been battling with departments (Marketing in particular) about utilizing our learning system as the one-stop-shop for all training and development. They have been fighting me all along the way.I hate to have them announce this on a different service, it will be yet another hurdle to get our users to know where to go for development.
Good morning!We are getting ready to launch Docebo and I am working to get the learning history into Docebo from our previous LMS. It’s a bit disappointing that importing the history via the certifications and retraining app doesn’t allow the course to show in the activities history or the certificate to be available for download.I am looking at importing the users to the course directly via csv but the columns are very limited. I am missing the status (in this case completed) and completion date to make this work. Does anyone have any useful advise about how to do this without too many manual steps?(the goal is that existing users can see their learning history under activities and also download a certificate for the certification courses). I want to validate that my user groups have access to all the catalogs and channels that they should have access to. I have to assign the visibility via catalogs and channels. Is there a way to see/report visibility by group? I need to verify a few groups as new catalog and channels have been created and I want to make sure the users in all my groups have visibility to the learning plans, courses, and assets they should have access to. Groups only shows me name, description, and members. I also tried reports but couldn’t find anything with a relationship to groups and visibility to catalogs and channels. Not an issue at the moment but a related question is, how can a Power User see enrollment rules associated/applied to their groups?
Hi all, We use the generic Go Learn app, and have recently redesigned our main pages in HTML for better accessibility and design. For the URL I use /pages/xx/xxxx instead of the full https://xxxx.docebosaas.com. I tested everything, and all worked really well. Now we get an error saying this link is not supported by the mobile app. I notice the app has recently been updated.My question to you is - is this expected behaviour now, or is this a bug? Does anyone know before I raise a support ticket?Thanks
What permisisons are needed for Power Users to enroll multiple users in several different ILT courses and sessions?
I can see our power user in question has the ability to enroll via csv, but when I do it while impersonating her, it throws an error. This is especially strange, since I used this exact file last week to process session and course enrollments last week. What am I missing here?
Good morning everyone,I am struggling to make URLs work on ILT courses by using the HTML option. The option comes up under the content tab but without being linked. Dear Community,Do you also use Certifications that need to be renewed? What do you do when an individual user does not need to renew a Certification anymore (because they have a new position in the company and don’t need that topic anymore) but want to somehow “pause” it? We don’t want to erase the Certification (for compliance reasons of keeping training records), we also cannot set it to “never-ending” (that would not be factually correct). Do you have any good solutions or tips?Thank you very much!
Has anyone experienced users with 1000+ monthly sessions? The way we understand a session is when a user logs in, and then does an activity within Docebo. If they did 100 activities during the same login it would still be considered 1 session. Some of the same users that have had high session counts are also getting very large time in course numbers. I think I have isolated both being caused by a couple Learning Object types, file and HTML being the most obvious. For instance we had a user with 8400+ sessions and that also has several courses with 600+ hours of time in course. Each of these very high time in course courses only contain a file LO. My thoughts are they opened the LO in a new window which remained opened for most of the month, and then when they went through to close open windows/tabs it counted the entire open time as time in course.
