Hi everyone,Even in a blended learning world it is likely that some assessments are still paper-based and not transitioned to an online environment, or able to be migrated. I’m curious to know if anyone has a suggestion or solution to retaining copies of the paper-based assessments in Docebo Learn (to keep training records together for each learner), obviously scanned into an online format like a PDF for example?Do you use the LMS for storage, or use a different electronic document store?My gut feeling is to steer clear of the LMS as a document store (not designed for this really) and use something else and perhaps reference back to an record ID number in the LMS course records somehow?Training records retention requirements and specific Registered Training Organisation audit requirements here in Australia require certain things to be discoverable hence my questions.

Feels like I am missing something obvious here. Surely I am not the only one that needs this info. So how have you all achieved this? How do you report on deactivated users. More to the point, can you report on only users that have been deactivated in the last X time period? I see options to report on expire date. But since the Expire date is not impacted when a user is manually deactivated, that field doesn’t help for this scenario.  

Folks - happy Friday. I am running into a small problem with a live learning campaign. I have faced it in the past in other systems, but I am not exactly sure how to corner this one effectively.I have an attestation at the end of a course - it is another learning object - that people seem to be missing. The first learning object is an off the shelf purchase.What would you recommend as a way of delivering a getting started message to the learner inline in the course? Is there a widget that I can sneak up front that expresses “getting started” that will not impact people that are already underway.The learning object (a Go1 “course”) I had to put into full window mode because of concerns with compatability.#Iamstilllearning, #help, #TGIF

We are doing some research into authoring tools and I’m leaning toward Articulate 360. We’re also looking at UDUTU. Any other suggestions?Does anyone know what authoring tool was used for Docebo University? I really love the layout, flow, and user-friendliness of how it’s laid out.THANKS!

This might actually be a question without an answer, but I’m looking for free or low-cost courses to help flesh out our LMS a bit. While I have a few categories in mind (IT, Security, COVID, Sexual Harassment, etc.) this is more of a general inquiry. Where does everyone get their content? 

Anyone use this notification? Can I ask? How do you establish a person as an instructor for an elearning course? My goal is to make “an office” listen to that instructor message for everytime a learner has completed the course.I can trigger daily reporting to the group - but a message would be a bit more real time and elegant.

I’m curious to know how others use the “tutor” enrollment level. We use it for our trainers in training because they attend classes not as students and not as instructors. It used to be very easy to see this kind of enrollment, but with the recent releases, this level of enrollee is hard to distinguish. Our instructors need to see who is a tutor in their class and who is a student. Is anyone else frustrated by this change in functionality?

I want to start a discussion around how your organization launched Coach and Share.  I’m especially interested to learn more about:What your launch plan entailed.  Did you use a phased approach? What challenges did you face during the implementation period?  How did you address these challenges? Hi Everyone,Just wondering how people are handling when a learner fails a SCORM course and how you notify the learner. (as I don’t think it is clear from a learner view as they stay ‘In Progress’.We are playing about with the idea of changing the learner status from ‘in progress’ to ‘suspended’ but can’t see how we can send them a notification to advise they have failed.  Would like this to be automated - so changing status we can do this through the API, but can’t see the best way to notify learners. Thanks Ant

Hello,For a start, I would like to say I’m aware that Docebo offers “Skills” but we’re currently thinking about implementing a proper skill database for our employees. The goal is to have all skills of all our employees in one place, including languages, levels, etc.We need something that will allow us to create reports and analyze the data. Our aim is to not only identify what skills we are still missing but what other career options are there for our employees within the company.My questions is: do your companies use something like this? Have you build skill database for your employees and if yes, do you use any external providers or tools for this? (e.g. Skills-Base.com)Bonus question :) Do you know if it’s possible to export a report from Docebo about Skills and who chose which?

We got so deep into working with the Custom Report builder to find out….that because we are not on an enterprise plan? We cant run a scheduled report? I am sorry folks - the UI seems horribly deficient in this case. I only figured this point out by hitting my head against the wall and trying to schedule over and over again to find out that it is not me or the UI, but then I went to go read about why I kept on getting an error to finally surmise our level of licensing does not match the function? Something should be done here…tell us right on the page that this option is not available to us - dont allow us to try something to find out it wont work until we read up about it or go onto DU - this needs to seriously change.And then? There are suggestions to migrate our reports that can be scheduled...to the new custom reports builder?…ha!Sorry - has anyone else learned this one the hard way as well? Is it only me?Seriously bummed...someone tell me that I am doing something wrong with this.

Hi - I am getting feedback that a bunch of enrollment rules that have been working have not been successfully triggered between yesterday and this morning. Is there something that I should watch for as a best practice?I know that the enrollment rule should be doing its thing as a moving forward type of criteria….but for whatever reason? They did not seem to “run”??? And I find myself going into groups and triggering their associated mapping.

How are people handling users who do not start or complete a course? We are looking at course completion rates and need ideas for how to get more people to complete a course? We have started notifications as reminders with information on how to unenroll from a course but are there any other best practices that anybody can recommend? Do any of you do user clean-up to remove people who have not started a course? If you do, is there any special process you use to do the cleanup?

What I feel is sometimes missing is teaching people how to build team spirit and good atmosphere in their teams & departments and enabling them to do so - especially now, when so many people are working remotely.Docebo is a powerful tool that could potentially be used for that as well! Docebo Community, I work with lots of folks who are investing in an LMS for the first time, which can feel quite overwhelming, especially when you don’t have someone designated to manage the solution. Often times, as we wrap up the evaluation and the team decides to move forward with Docebo, the business will agree to hire someone to manage the platform. A question I’m typically asked is, “what should we look for in an LMS Admin?” and I’d love to hear from you all;  What are the skills/qualities/traits needed to be a great LMS Admin?  How steep is the learning curve if an organization looks to promote someone internally who’s never managed an LMS? At what point do you feel 1 LMS Admin is not enough to support managing something like Docebo?  What would be the best advice I could share to help organizations find a great fit? Thank you all! 

Afternoon from the East Coast. Wanted to ask - has anyone tried using 7taps in a learning campaign?It looks like it can be a rather cheap method of pushing responsive microlearning out there.I am not endorsing anything other than the great AI that talks through a script that you entered as text. The technology set to do this is a combination of two different technologies in play - a text to speech that is in use in a few other spaces today….check out https://www.wellsaidlabs.com and something that looks like it is supporting a type of “deep fake”.In unison? These two things together make for a pretty intriguing method for deploying a microlearning course…The gotchas - well there has to be one….right? The gotcha is that they claim they are quietly running an LMS to capture who is taking courses with them. But there is no way to connect Docebo other than doing an iFrame onto an html page.Still - it is crazy intriguing!

I am new to Docebo and I am struggling to figure out the best way to notify learners that they need to complete a post-course/session evaluation for ILTs. Could someone please school me on my options? I see I can add a survey as a course material, but I can’t see a related notification to let learners know they need to complete that. We use Zoom for ILTs so after the session is over, our learners just dip out. How can I alert them that they need to complete this eval ASAP?Should I be using Learning Impact? It doesn’t appear I have that option. Any advice is appreciated.  

Good morning,We would like to display the entire Catalog on the pre-sign in page. Currently we can only display 4 courses with the option to scroll through the rest of the catalog 4 at a time.We would like to see the whole catalog on display.Any ideas on how or if we can do this?Thanks Jamie

I’m looking to generate a report that could provide completion statistics on each module within our courses. For example, Bob has completed Modules A, B, and C in Course 1, but he has not completed Modules D-H. Bob has also completed all of Course 2. Is there a way to pull a report like this that could be exported (preferably into excel or a CSV)?I’ve found how to report on completion at the course level, but have not been able to find a way to pull a more granular report without going into each user’s record for that course and estimating based on percentage complete, which would be a manual and time consuming process for the number of users we have.  

Managing certificates of completion is difficult for us. We use a federated model with different power users associated to a specific branch.Not only is the management of the certificates difficult - codes are not displayed, you can't sort the columns, but also the certificates I have created have been accessed by others that I assumed wouldn't have been able to get to them.If I own a certificate (associated with a branch), no one should be able to change it.I should be able to sort columns on the main screen.I should be able to see the codes.We should be allowed to only modify our own certificates or those within our 'branch' or some other security settings...Thoughts?  I have an Idea submitted in the Idea Portal for this and need to get more votes if this seems logical to anyone else but us…  :-)Idea - LMS-I-4904… vote on it for me if you agree...please

Hello, is it possible you can utilized additional fields when self registering?  For us, it’s important that the user enters a branch code, plus selecting an additional field from either a drop list or predetermined.We have automatic rules setup for users who enter a specific group, along with a specific additional field.thank you,
