Update training material while keeping the URL the same?

I am an Instructional Designer at a software company and I am creating training material for our clients on how to use our new software platform. A key feature of the new software platform is that specific pages in the software platform link to explanatory training material in Docebo. The software platform is still in development and as a result I am frequently updating our training material to reflect changes in the software. I am running into an issue when it comes to linking to this updated training material from the new software platform. Currently, to make revisions to training material on the platform I update the material on Rise, export a SCORM file, delete the current training material in Docebo and reupload the revised version. This process results in the training material getting a new URL in Docebo, which in turn breaks the link from our software platform to the training material. This means that every time I update the training material, I also have to update the links in

"New" on every course tile

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Every single course in our course catalog says “new” on the course tile. These are not courses that are in the “New Course” catalog. It’s stumping me.

Automated Emails for Users without a Session Chosen

I have ILT Courses that have several different sessions. A common problem I run into is having learners register for the course and never choose a session. Is there a way to set up a notification so that anyone who hasn’t chosen session but is registered will receive reminders to choose one?Thanks!

Is there a way to make badges private-per-branch?

Some of my member companies have stated they are unwilling to make or use badges that other companies (branches)’ power-users can see. I don’t see the LP names and descriptions as that-confidential, but I do agree it is not good.Is there a “fix” for this of any kind?

Course enrollment with conditional

Hello All.I have a configuration need, but I don't know if Docebo supports it. two years after the learner complete the CESS course, they have to take another course, TICB.How do I enroll a learner in a course (or learning plan) after he completed another course two years ago?I did not find this configuration in the Automation app.Has anyone been through this situation?Regards, Manoel

How to make users mark an external course (added with HTML) as completed?

Good morning everyone!!! 😀We recently added a bunch of external content as courses, using an HTML course material as a landing page with a link to the external course. However, the course turns out to be completed as soon as the user views this content.For this reason we are looking for a way to include among the mandatory materials for course completion a "mark as completed" course material. Currently we have experimented tests (correct answer "I have completed the course") and te observation checklist (admins confirm when the answer is "I have completed the course"). However the user experience is really bad.Has anyone else had the same problem? Do you have any suggestions or advice on this? Please let me know!Thanks in advance to everyone! 😘

We are looking for a way to have users complete trainings on mobile devices but only during times when they are scheduled to work. Our first thought was to use Geofencing, but that is not available yet. Are there any other options we could consider?

Moving the placement of the 'NEXT' button within a module

Does anyone know of a way to change the placement of the ‘NEXT’ button within a SCORM module, from within Docebo (settings)?:I had reached out to Support, and they stated that there is not currently an option for this; however, it can likely be removed via the module authoring tool.I am wondering if anyone has found a way to remove it/hide it/change the location of it within the platform itself, however, as this Community tends to have workarounds for things.Thanks!

Adding time as criteria for rewarding badges/points

We'd like to use the gamification feature in Docebo to get our users to complete their courses ASAP. Would there be a way for us to add time as one of the criteria for rewarding badges & points? e.g. A user will earn more points if he/she completes a course within the day/week, compared to those who complete it late.

Survey does not save progress if stopped before completed

One of our courses has a survey as the primary content item. When a learner exits the course prior to completing the survey, it is not saving a learner’s progress. Any suggestions on how we can fix this?

Embedding video content from Google Drive

Has anyone else tried to embed Google Drive video content into Docebo pages? I tried to use the iframe option but I get a 403 error. Do we literally have to put all of our content into YouTube or Vimeo? If so, how to we ensure they’re not publicly viewable. We need most of this content to be private to employees only, and we usually manage privacy settings via Google Drive sharing.

I am just starting the process of getting our rewards shop all set up with inventory. I am not seeing a way to add/manage the reward items unless I enable visibility of the shop to our learners. Is there a way to build out the shop before making it available publicly?

Custom Video Conferencing Tool Malfunction

Our team has used the Custom Video Conferencing Tool option in Events for ILT Courses and Sessions for a long time now. However, as we try to create new events within ILT Courses and Sessions this afternoon, the Video Conferencing Tool drop down is no longer populating any options - including the custom option. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Are there any known solutions (besides .csv upload of events)?

Good morning all,in our ILT courses, we have multiple events inside one session and we’d like to set up a notification before the start of every event. The problem is that notifications are set to be sent before the start of the session. I was wondering if someone of you had the same issue and how you solved it. I don’t think it’s possible to use a webhook because there’s no event which may trigger the webhook.Any advice?Elisa

Is there a good way to see which of my 600 companies have or don't have logins?

Use case: I have 600 companies, each as a branch. A bunch of companies SHOULD have logged in by now and have not. I want a smarter/faster way to hunt these companies down and offer enablement calls/zooms. Is there a smart way to see which branches HAVE logins (eg any user has logged in) and which do not? Number of logins would be even better. I did this before with admin dashboard, but admin dashboard is glitched when you have 600 branches and 150,000 users, and has not yet been fixed by Docebo 1 month later. Not mad (well maybe a little), just explaining why I’m not using the admin dashboard for this. It works, it just takes 15 minutes to pull up each page.

We are working on releasing a blended learning format and want to make use of MS Bookings to schedule times with instructors one on one or in group sessions. My challenge is the iframe code will not add properly. I simply get bad request. This same iframe code is added as an html training material. Has anyone had success with the IFrame widget

Assessment Images Error

Hello Docebo Community,Our team encountered an unexpected issue this morning and we were wondering if anyone has seen this before and / or if anyone has any idea as to root cause. As you’ll see in the screenshot below, the image associated with the question is presenting an error to the user. We were able to verify it is not a local issue and is experienced by multiple users.We are attempting to re-upload / re-apply the images to correct the problem for now. Thanks ahead of time for any help or insight you can provide!
