Hi there, Does anyone have experience setting up a Sandbox environment on Docebo in order to test different course configurations? If so, could you provide advice on how to do that? Thank you

We share our Docebo instance with other units of our company and use an extended enterprise. We’re the only unit that offers training to users outside the organization. We want to empower our customers to self-register but we want to ensure they are our actual customers and we intended to use Branch Codes. However, I can’t find a way to turn that on for just our domain. Is there a way to do this? Or is there another way we can vet our users that would not disrupt the other members of our enterprise?

I found ways to automate based on course completion, but we have a situation where completing a course grants a certification that expires. As long as the certification is active we want learners to be in a group that has specific catalog access. when the certification expires, their access should also expire, but they would still have course completion.  Is there a way to create an automatic group enrollment rule based on a certification being active?  

Hi everyone,We are very new to Docebo so hopefully this isn’t too basic of a question… Our ILT courses have limited number of seats available. Some of our customers will purchase x-number of seats without knowing who exactly they will send to the course (sometimes only known 1-2 days in advance). We would like to keep track of the number of available seats in Docebo. So, my question is: Is there a way to “block” seats, or “reserve” seats for a customer so that we can keep track of available seats but later be able to assign those seats to specific named users?Thanks,Tim

I am currently going through a backlog of our training, I have over 6,000 enrollments I am entering into my system that will then need to be marked as completed, and I have not found a way to mass change enrolled users statuses. Is there an easier way to do this than going one by one?

When users do not enroll prior to an ILT, and a power user manually enrolls them after the fact and then marks their status as complete, the user still receives the “User Enrolled in ILT Session” notification.  Has anyone found a way to prevent the notifications from being sent to participants when they are being manually enrolled/marked complete by power users?

We have a user who has been active prior and was receiving emails in 2022. They are no longer receiving these and wish to. Is there a way to see what has been sent and if it bounced back? Their IT department states the emails are not coming through. Could there be other issues causing the email to not go through like an inactive status?Thanks in advance!

Hello I'm trying to get an explanation of how the search functionality works on catalog searches. Specifically in this case the "Full Course Catalog." When I search for a word in the global search I only get 5 results. Hello!I’m attempting to use communities more often, so here we go! I’m looking for a way with the current UI to pull every group a user is a part of. While I know I can get this information in a way from API, I’m hoping this is something we can do without API as I need some of our admins, who aren’t tech savvy, to get this data as well. Am I missing something that natively supports this?

Hey, folks! I’m coming up blank on my testing and conversations with Support. I thought I’d turn to the hive for other thoughts.Scenario:We are launching a manager training program. This program will consist of 5 virtual instructor-led training sessions. In a perfect world, we would get each participant to enroll in all five courses but these courses could be completed in any order over a long period of time (let’s say 6 months). We’d want them to complete the first session (101 level) before the others, but then they could do the remaining 4 sessions in any order (does this feel like a word problem yet?). Then we’d need to track completions (we base attendance on a manual assessment done by a producer during the session) and send out completion certificates when they’ve competed all five within the allotted time.Current Speedbumps:We cannot identify a way that would prohibit the user from signing up for sessions 2-5 before session 1. I have a course that is attached to a certification. The course has been around for a couple of years and any people have gone through it and understand the renew now option. We now have created a new course that we would like to have replace this course (it has to be a different course as it has been approved by regulators) and have the users certification renewal stay on the same cycle, so any future renew now would be tied to this new course. Is this possible, what in your opinion is the best way to get this accomplished? 

Hi,We currently have 3 compliance courses that need to be completed within the business. There is no deadline set for these courses but they are mandatory. Is it possible to have a notification created that will be sent to any user who hasn’t completed these courses all in one email? I have seen there is an option for outstanding course but it seems to generate a separate email for each course. Ideally I would want any outstanding course (From the 3 compliance courses) to be included on the email and only sent to the users who have any of the 3 courses outstanding. Hope this makes sense!Thanks,

We have a number of mandatory modules that all staff need to complete.  We are having a number of emails form staff who said they have completed the module, and have the certificate (from within the module itself), but the LMS has not registered their completion.Has any experienced this and can they advise on what to check?  I have gone into the user report for someone who has recently experienced this, but the LMS just simply says they are incomplete.  The certificate they get within the module at the end clearly shows they got the right score with the right date.Any suggestions welcome.

Hello everyone!It’s me again - I am just asking a question about memberships.  So... if we have people in our organisation who have memberships to a specific body (such as I have CIPD membership), is there any way to monitor this in Docebo?  We have it linked to MHR’s iTrent system and there is facility for memberships in this and we can keep track that way, but ideally I’d like it to be in one system.Thanks for your help (as always!)Keep safePaul Foxton

Hi,  We use the Observation Checklist function to send an annual training checklist to all employees by sending to various Groups. However, we would like to delete/edit the checklist for some people without impacting everyone. It looks like if you send a checklist to a Group, you can edit individual enrolment? Any help would be appreciated! 

We have run into issues when a user doesn’t show up to an ILT session. These sessions have a single event and when the user doesn’t show, they are marked as absent. The issue we are seeing is the course still shows as “in progress” or “not started” for the user. Is there a way to have them automatically unenrolled from the session after they are marked as absent or at least have the session no longer show up for them on their “in progress” or “not started” courses. We want to keep the absent status so we can report on it but we just don’t need to have the course cluttering up the widget on their home page. 

I have a client who is saying that the report being run in one gives different results when run in the other. Is there any other known issues around this?

Hi, could we discuss best practices for handling users whose name changes? For example, Pat Adams changes their name to Pat Semprini.We still want to search on their former name of Adams. I’ve tried doing this with an additional user field, but Docebo doesn’t seem to search user AFs. We don’t want to retrain the former name in the first name or last name fields. 

Hello,I would like to know if it is possible to set a ‘’placement test’’ so that user can do the test beofre enrolling in any course and depending on the result they will access a certain level of course. For exemple if they have 10/25 on the placement test the user will have to enroll in the level 1 course, but if they have 20/25 they can enroll directly to the level 4. thank you
