This is an HTML template that I shared with one of the old “Global Success Digest” newsletters that we used to send. I’m wondering if anybody has worked out how to customise the background color of the current day in the catalog calendar view. It’s a weird off-yellow kind of thing which is not part of any of our color settings, so I’m not sure how it’s defined or whether it can be changed. I’ve been able to modify other calendar colors usng css from previous community threads but couldn’t find anything for this.  

Hello,I wondering if anyone can help or advise….We've set up a course equivalency between 3 courses. 1 course is the source and the other 2 courses are the targets.When we put the 2 courses that are the targets into a learning plan learners who have completed the source course are not being marked as complete.Would anyone know why? What we are doing is changing content in the learning plans and we don't want learners who have completed the learning plan to take the new courses. Hoping someone can help or advise. ThanksAnt

Dear All, Since a long time we are struggling with user completion status for ILT Trainings. We would like all users to be marked as completed only after they have met the two requirements - 1) Attended the entire session (Evaluation-based) 2) They complete the test that has been uploaded under Training Material. (Also marked as last object marker) under course. But the moment we mark them as passed for the session they are declared as completed for the course even without giving the test. Hi All, I am new to Docebo, the first few weeks in! Yay!We’re in the process of setting up groups and branches to assign content to learners, and I have a few questions about them. I'm looking for tips on best practices specifically for our use case. First Q: Do learners see the group description or even know that they are part of a group? It does not seem like they will, but I wanted to be sure. Looking for tips here: What would you tell yourself when you were setting up, or what do you wish you had known? More info: We’re a large business (2500+ users), but our primary use will be for our call center employees for their onboarding and continued training (for new product/process releases, compliance, skill building, etc.). If there’s anyone else out there who set up Docebo LMS for those types of things, primarily for a call center, I would love to hear about how you set up Users and groups or any other tips or tricks you’ve found alo

We are launching our client side LMS soon and am currently running into one road block. We set up our client side LMS to be a page and menu that is only visible to a certain branch, and clients upon enrolling with our company are given access to that page via registering with the unique branch code. However, we are offering an additional package that will include access to specific channels and content that not all clients will be able to see.  What would be the best way to automate the process where the clients who get the additional package can automatically get access to that Channel and content? I was thinking of developing a unique branch for it, but that wouldn’t help if an existing client is upgrading services, as they would already be in the system from when they first registered. Currently, we have clients who receive this additional package being manually added to a group where that content and Channel are only visible to them. Any advice would be appreciated

Hello everyone,We use the Task List widget on our main dashboard, and we have it set so that is displays all upcoming ILT sessions for the user. The widget itself currently only displays sessions that the user has actually enrolled into. I was wondering if there was a way to have it display all sessions that the user has access to, enrolled or not? We were looking for a way to use this as a way to promote upcoming ILT sessions that the users have access to and drive enrolment. Is this something that can be done?

We are about to implement Gamification. I have spent hours creating and testing badges/options within our Sandbox.  I think I must have missed things in the Knowledge Base articles, starting with what to include in the TEXT box. Notice it is not called Description or Congratulations box, just TEXT.  I’ve tried to put some thought into what needs to be included in that magic box along with the management of badges.  Our first pilot will have potentially 50 badges, and that is just for the PILOT! Badge management could become very unruly, very quickly when we open it up to everyone!I want to share my notes and ask if I am overlooking anything.WHAT BEST PRACTICES WOULD YOU ADD?How do you determine the points?Have I overthought this?TitleThe title should be descriptive and differentiate the badge from others. Is there a way to bulk upload Youtube videos to the central repository?E.g., via api or some other automation?The problem is that we have many videos. In the optimal case, we would be able to upload regular videos (instead of just youtube videos) and other content too in an automated way.Right now, the upload is extremely bothersome for a tool whose goal is to automate things. I have to go through the folder structure in the central repository, create the element, then the system jumps back and I have to go through the entire folder structure again.  Is there a way to do this? Or do you have other tips how we can do this more efficiently? Thank you very much!

DocebiansI know we can archive enrollments , but  I want to find a way to archive enrollments with assignments- uploaded files- by users and keep them at least for 6-8  months  Any ideas??@lrnlab @Annarose.Peterson @Annalisa

I regularly export reports that are 300,000+ lines and so the only workable option is to output to CSV. I got really frustrated when certain  characters like diacritics, cyrillic letters, Greek letters when opened in Excel were corrupted  showing something like Г„/Г¤, Г–/Г¶.I raised a ticket with Docebo help as it seemed to be a reporting  issue with CSV file exports. However, thanks to their (and Shaune Peebles) help. I was amazed to discover that Docebo reports do output correctly with CSV UTF-8  format. which, in theory, should remove the character corruption.I was totally dumbfounded to learn from Microsoft support that it’s a known, but little publicized, issue that Excel misreads the UTF (BOM) marker that says it needs to use 65001: Unicode (UTF-8) and tries to open the file as standard CSV (which causes the corruption).OK so for those of you who have not worked this out yet :Don’t open a CSV file and let Excel import it (it will get it

For some reason, we can only use it if we use the Standalone mode, not the Theater mode in the View Mode settings. Recently, we switched to adding our content to the Content Repository (CLOR), which we generally do on a course by course basis. So we create our course, we upload our training material (indicating that we want to use Stand-alone mode, and then we right click on the 3 line menu and select Upload to the Central Repository.This appears to set the View Mode back to the default setting (which is probably the way things are stored in the CLOR) which is the Theater mode.So we have

What are the best practices to know which extra Notifications can be deleted from the system- For e.g. - Deleting those which have no courses/branches allowed etc.- Can you think of more points?

I’m digging into the new Learning Plans page and APIs and was wondering if anyone else is struggling with Docebo not prioritizing “status” as a REAL attribute of a learning plan?  It’s almost like a learning plan isn’t seen as a real building block to future learning (where a completion status is key).We based about 80-90% of our “learning flow” on completion of learning plans. We change dashboards based on learning plan completion (and how they fall into groups). We move people in and out of learning plans routinely when adding new courses, and I need a way to find those who are still ‘incomplete’ so I can update their enrollment into the correct learning planIt’s great to see the completion date column (on the new page), but you can’t sort, can’t filter … and the APIs seem to be the same way. APIs that list enrollments don’t have a enrollment status item.Ideas are getting added 😁Anybody find something new yet?

 Changing Username from Email Address to Employee Number (unique identifier)When we launched Docebo, we had configured the user accounts to reflect our email address as username. Recently, we discovered that when an employee’s domain changes on their email, Docebo recognizes the new domain as a new user. Since the email is not a true unique identifier of the employee, this was causing duplicates in our system whenever a user would switch companies in our organization. We also realized that whenever a user had a name change, their email address would also change which would also cause the system to create a new user. To correct this, we performed the following steps: Recommendation: use your Sandbox environment for testing. Exported our users from Docebo. Gear icon > Users > Select All > Actions > Export On the flat file, added a column in front of column A. Named this column new username.

I’m looking to change the skills of a lot of assets in discover coach and share using the API’s however I can’t find an API or a report that allows me to download a list of the asset id code. I can find the code in the browser window but I don’t want to have to do this for all of the assets. I’m relatively new to the API’s so I must be missing it somewhere. 

Hi everyone, Roberto Moscatelli from the Docebo Support team here and I want to speak a little bit about some IDs that you can find directly using the UI. There is more than one reason why you need these IDs: for example you need them to make some API calls. Here below you can find the easiest way to retrieve IDs directly on your platform. Retrieve User_id You just need to go to Admin Menu-User management and search for your user: 

Managing Power User resources is challenging for our instance. My Teams is fine for our internal users as we know the “Direct Manager” but it is much more challenging for our external vendors. Our Learning Plan provisioning must support access through the Admin Gear as well as My Teams, meaning the visibility to our Learning Plans for our Power Users are managed through Catalogs and Learning Plans as resources.The Manage Power User interface is fine for assigning resources but challenging for removing resources. You have to go to each individual user to remove resources. This is a problem when retiring a bunch of Learning Plans and having to update hundreds of Power Users.The information I needed to do this was available from two sources. I have a separate Python script that runs weekly that pulls all of the Power User info and provisioning, and then I did an API call to get the ID or my Learning Plans. But you can get the user IDs from a report.Warning:

This is not in the online help.  After months of trying to figure this out, I was able to determine the cause.  I hope this saves people from hours of researching. The problem: the Survey report is duplicating the survey data. The cause: Because I am using Branches and just said all survey data, it is reporting both at the root (top) level as well as at each branch level. Thus, duplication.The solution: There is no way to exclude the top level. As a workaround, I specifically selected all the Branches below it.  (I’ll need to be careful in the future if I add a new branch that I remember to include it in the report spec; however, I can catch omissions by checking the survey completion sequential ID.)The result: I get the data once, by branch, instead of duplicated (it’s nice to have it by branch for analysis.)ALSO: when a user is inactivated because they left the company, their surveys are not longer in the Survey report.  Personally, I thin
