Hello Docebo Friends! I’ve been told by Docebo that there is no way to restrict Badge visibility by branch or group. I am looking for a workaround because we have multiple distributors, three different brands, and many branches with diverse needs for specific badges. Any and all help/suggestions are welcome.Thank you!

As we implement Docebo, our HR business partners are excited to have elevated permissions. In our last LMS, they had the standard user profiles. They’d like the ability to do the following…View reports of learner completions Suggest content to learners based on performance conversationsThese seem like reasonable requests, so I’d like to honor them but be cautious in how much free-reign they have. Do you have a power user profile for HRBPs? What permissions do you grant them?

Hello,We are currently using the gamification app to run contests in our platform. Since the contest functionality is so limited, we’ve pretty much been stuck with the “complete the highest number of courses” option. However, does anyone know how the winners are ranked? For example, if we have a catalog of 10 courses and 10 employees complete all 10 courses, how does Docebo decide who is ranked #1, #2, #3? Is it based on who completed the 10 courses in the fastest time?

Hi, when filling out an address in the cart in our docebo sandbox, the “save” button is not functioning.  It appears to not fire the click event.  Can you fix this?  

I’m trying a POST request to the /manage/v1/user/batch endpoint and hit a roadblock. The option/branch_option key requires a value but I don’t know what values are allowed or what they do.In fact, 3 of the options related to branches are a bit unclear. Where are these documented? "options": { "destination_branch": "string", "branch_option": "string", "force_create_branches": true, "user_destination_branch_action": "add", }I don’t know what branch_option, destination_branch, or user_destination_branch_action do.I gather that force_create_branches means that if I provide a branch that doesn’t exist, the system will create it. Does the Teams/Docebo integration automatically set up a calendar invite for learners? I can’t seem to send the location link in an email and I am running into a lot of issues.  

Ok! you guys are just great at helping I am a jack of all master of none. I do everything from ID, to graphics, to LMS, to video editing, so CSS HTML is a jack not expert trade for me.I am trying to design a new page. I really liked the hover on the map kind of example Docebo put out on the guides, but I couldn’t get it to work without a white background and scrollbar.I moved to the custom flipcard and added those *somewhat* successfully. I don’t love the background color, etc.I am down to just trying to create a HTML widget that takes you to a course because I do not have Coaching or Assets. Hi there,  I am interested in selecting a lighter color for the “main colors” option of the Customize Colors page.   However, the text that shows up on this color is white, so it does not show up very well. I do not know how to change the text to black, so that it will show up on the lighter color.   Does anyone know a fix for making this text black?  Meagan

Hello all!Is it possible to create a page to just view files that are hosted in Docebo that can be clicked and viewed without having them bundled as a course/found in a course?We have things we’d like to host in Docebo, like PDFs of a guide for trainers, that aren’t necessarily a “course”. Rather, they’re just a file we’d like them to be able to quickly view at will. I have searched and see that there’s ways to do an HTML page or iFrames, but these seem to be based on the files being hosted elsewhere to link, where we’re looking to host the files in Docebo itself.Thank you in advance for any help!!

Good day All -My organization will be retiring a good number of courses soon, and we’re going through the process of testing how we want to communicate that to our learners. In addition to a banner on our home page (which gives a general message, and does not list which courses will be retired), we’re also updating the course descriptions, and using a Validity period end date. While that end date appears as an expiration date on the respective course tiles, we noticed that it doesn’t appear for learners who have completed the courses. We want folks to have fair warning that that retirement is coming up should they want to relaunch the courses and review any material before that date.Is there any way to retain that expiration/validity date on the course tile, regardless of the learner’s status in the course? Is there by chance a setting that I may have missed somewhere?Any insight you folks might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi We’d like to send out a follow up test that is course material for an ILT based course and must be passed for the course to be completed. The only notification that makes sense is the “User has passed ILT session” but this doesn’t allow anything other than “at the time of the event” as an option, which isn’t what we want. We don’t want to add the test as a separate course as it then complicates reporting.Has anyone managed to do this in some creative way? Due to Docebo’s many limitations on ILTs and notifications, I am pretty sure it’s not possible within the same course, but I’ll ask the question, just in case!ThanksRichard

Just curious, are there any limits on the file types that can be uploaded in the Discover, Coach and Share area of the platform? It may be a simple no. I am looking to verify this.

We have a course in our Docebo instance that is supposed to only be for Colorado Managers that appears to be assigning itself to people who are neither. I have gone through every Group and every Enrollment Rule and cannot determine why this is going on. I’ve looked on the Group page and he is not in any groups associated with this course, on the Enrollment Rules page and he is not in any ERs associated with this course, from the individual learner’s summary page and I’ve checked the groups he is associated with (they don’t have association with the course), from the Enrollment Rules logs (same), and the Audit Trail.The Audit Trail (attached) shows that the person self-enrolled, as far as I can see. He says he did not and truly, there’s no reason why he would have. I might be skeptical (people do all sorts of things) except we’ve had lots of reports of this same issue for this same course and at some point, I have to trust it may be the system or how I’ve set it up. I am being asked to put a footer on the bottom of our lms pages that’s the same as the footer on our website with all the various links to organization specific content. I’ve played around with the custom footer but that doesn’t really do it so I guess I have to use the external iframe thingy?? Has anyone done this? Would you be willing to share a few bullets on how to set this up. Would you be willing to share a screen shot of your footer? Thanks!

At long last, we’re preparing for our first platform-wide course review process. When we started adding courses 18 months or so ago, we failed to consistently establish days of validity. Now, multiple departments will be asked to make determinations as to the continued need to keep their content published. We have < 300 courses and the vast majority of them are monthly departmental meetings. In cases of courses that are no longer needed/wanted would you simply unpublish them (and maybe amend the course title) or would you simply archive the enrollments and delete them from the platform? Thanks!

Hi, I’ve seen this topic appear in a few variations, but was hoping to ask the question more specifically to my situation. Our company has a weekly company-wide meeting. My hope is to have a convenient way to track attendance throughout the year. My problem, as I know others have encountered, is that I can’t quite find a way to make things “easy”.Currently, I’ve created a single course - let’s call it “Weekly Meeting”. Within the course, I’ve created a session for every week this meeting is hosted. My main concerns are the following:When I open the “Weekly Meeting” course from a learner’s perspective, each session is collapsed using a dropdown with only one being displayed. It appears that the course always loads with the first event associated to the course. For example, if I have events on Dec 15, January 15 and February 15, opening the course will always default to Dec 15. Hello!I am using Docebo Connect to perform scheduled user data imports from a Workday report to Docebo. This is the typical “Batch Employees Import from Workday Report (RaaS)” that’s commonly used to create new user accounts automatically and bring in their standard user data such as username, first/last name, direct manager, etc.Beyond those standard data pieces, we’ve created additional fields for other items included in the report (e.g. leadership team, number of direct reports, etc.) and have been manually maintaining that data through CSV imports.However we’d love for those additional fields to be populated as part of our current Workday recipe. I’ve attempted to modify our recipe to include these fields, but through the experimenting and research I’ve done, I haven’t been able to successfully connect the data pills of the Workday report to the additional fields.Has anyone successfully connected Workday report columns to additional fields through Docebo Connect? Or am I barking up

Hello and thank you for reading this,We have a situation where we need to use Okta Provisioning. Using provisioning puts this user into the root branch. Is there a way we can force these Okta users into a specific branch?Our new users will not know what branch they are assigned yet. They will be required to enterfirst name, last name, and email address, from there can they be put into a default branch?Thank you,
