If we have set up an ILT course with 5 sessions, can we limit access to one branch or group to session 1, and then change which group can access session 2, and 3, and 4, and 5?

We have multi-day training workshops where the attendee is registering for the entire workshop. They are not allowed to pick and choose between the agenda items and they are required to attend both days. ILT needs the ability to create multi-day events where the attendee only has to enroll once and it’s clear that the attendee is registering for all required days. I have submitted the idea (see link above), so if you think this would be useful to you, please upvote it. In the meantime, does anyone have suggestions or best practices on how your’e handling this system limitation?Thank you!

Hey you wonderful folks of DoceboLand! I have around 50 or so users that signed up but never accessed our LMS. Any thoughts on how to mass email them via a newsletter or something letting them know that I will be deleting them from the system unless they log in? Thanks!

hi everyone,is it possible to generate a report that displays/exports the details entered into the description field for course training materials ? 

I’m struggling a bit with the API documentation.  There are many API calls that leverage the numeric value for field options that are only text-based in the platform, documentation, and help.  For example, “Level” for a course.  I know the options are student (don’t get me started about why it’s “Learner” in the frontend dropdown lists but “student” if you’re using CSV), tutor, instructor.  BUT...which is which numeric value?  I can’t find it ANYWHERE in the resources.  Same thing for “status” I know the options are subscribed, enrolled, in progress, completed, etc.  but what number goes with each status?  If someone can please point me to the place where these lookup values are hidden, I would greatly appreciate it.   

Hello,From time to time, when we create a new Course, we put news about it on our Docebo’s main page (in the custom-made News section).We always include an Enrollment Link (deep link) to said course; however, at the moment it is hard for us to tell how many clicks it generates. Do you know about any way to keep track of this? Perhaps using a third-party tool to change the link while redirecting?Unfortunately, Google Analytics doesn’t show us any results for Enrollment Links and standard link to the course is not exactly the same as it also shows the general amount of views (from my courses and course catalog sections).

I work at a software company and we are experimenting with posting our release notes on Docebo. I am currently uploading the release notes into their own course, but I would rather upload the PDFs directly to their own widget in my customized home page. For example, in the empty space on the bottom left of this page.  Does anyone know how to create a widget that allows users to open PDFs?

Hi there,Just wondering if there is any way to future assign a course on a specific date or, one year after completion of another course.  We have a compliance training that is 5 years long: one course per year.  Each subsequent course must be assigned a year after completion of the previous course.  It would be simple if we just had a small group of people but we hire 10-20 new hires a week who will need to take the course immediately, and then a new course each year for the next 5 years.  So it’s kind of a rolling enrollment for the course.  Each NY new hire must complete the initial course within 60 days of hire.Any thoughts on how to accomplish this task?  I’ve thought of creating groups but the group function only allows info on completion of a course but not the date it was completed.  

Hello everyone,Throwing this out there trying to see if we are the only ones experiencing this issue. Tried to take it up with Docebo Support who said it was an issue with Zoom and Zoom Support telling me it must be an issue with the way Docebo makes the link. (I also lean towards the latter.)Background: We commercially offer trainings for orthomolecular therapy and other health related topics to external people. Hello, I just migrated from our previous system and launched with Docebo last week! Use case I am trying to solve for: We send out an Onboarding survey (course with a survey) 30 days after a new employees hire date. Has anyone had any luck in creating a group that would include this and trigger 30 days after a users hire date? (I do have the hire date as an Additional Field.)OR...if that is not possible wondering if there is an automated report I could set up to include all users who were hired in the last 30 days or something along those lines. Any help is appreciated! This community has already been invaluable through the launch.

Hi Everyone, How do I set a deadline for a course in a particular learning plan, but have it available as an open course to anyone else who takes it outside of that learning plan? IE- I need everyone in a particular learning plan to finish a course before an ILT session (specific date). This course is a technology course, so anyone at the organization can take it by signing up from the catalog, but there’s no requirement or deadline for taking it.

What is the difference between the two times displayed with Learning Plans? I’ve searched a number of different sites and can’t seem to find the answer. 

I would like to display course completion date on a certificate using the [date_complete] shortcode/tag, but wondering if it is possible to display another date which is two years from the completion date that is calculated dynamically?As an example, if the course was completed by a user on Dec 1, 2023, I would like to display this date and also another date, which is two years from this (Dec 1, 2025). Just wondering if it is possible to display both on the certificate, and if so, how do I accomplish this? 

Is there any way to assign learners to a specific instructor eg for marking an assignment. We’re looking at maybe doing a mentoring programme where learners upload an assignment and they get feedback from their mentor. Instead of automatic notifications going to all the instructors can we assign them an instructor that get’s the notification?This could be an ILT or a course, I just want to know if it’s possible or if anyone has found a workaround that doesn’t involve creating each mentor their own course. Thanks

Hi there,When we are creating notifications only manually created notifications are showing with a play button beside it, however, anything set at “at the time of event” is not appearing with this play button to activate the notification. Thanks so much! LD

Hi! I am very new to Docebo and I can see this a popular topic but was still unclear from reading through the many community posts RE global search but is there a way to hide the Al Results & Training Material tabs in search? All of our courses are in catalogs so it seems like I only need My Courses and Learning Plans & the Course Catalog tabs and that would help generate less confusion about training materials + courses showing up, not to mention they don’t show the course completion status consistently across the tab options - which is also very confusing. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions. Cheers
