Managing certificates of completion is difficult for us. We use a federated model with different power users associated to a specific branch.Not only is the management of the certificates difficult - codes are not displayed, you can't sort the columns, but also the certificates I have created have been accessed by others that I assumed wouldn't have been able to get to them.If I own a certificate (associated with a branch), no one should be able to change it.I should be able to sort columns on the main screen.I should be able to see the codes.We should be allowed to only modify our own certificates or those within our 'branch' or some other security settings...Thoughts?  I have an Idea submitted in the Idea Portal for this and need to get more votes if this seems logical to anyone else but us…  :-)Idea - LMS-I-4904… vote on it for me if you agree...please

Hello, is it possible you can utilized additional fields when self registering?  For us, it’s important that the user enters a branch code, plus selecting an additional field from either a drop list or predetermined.We have automatic rules setup for users who enter a specific group, along with a specific additional field.thank you,

Has anyone experienced any issues lately with the catalog widget on their widget pages? We utilize the catalog widget feature on our homepage to highlight curated catalogs for our users each month. Noticed this morning that we are presented with the following.  

We are Extended Enterprise and are going live in October. We currently have a launch team that will be working on the communication plan and assets for both our customers and internal stakeholders outside of our department. Does anyone have a communication plan, assets, or ideas from what you did/wish you would have done when transitioning from another LMS to Docebo’s platform? If this is your first LMS, I’ll take those suggestions too!

Current state I have been building out widget pages to create a type of navigation experience into our catalogs. During my testing, I am noticing every page link is opening a new window/tab in my browser.Is there a way to tell Docebo? Listen this is a widget page - no reason to open a new window?Is there a way to properly format a url to have that happen? 

First time asking a question, here goes. Has anyone had an issue with the channel widget overlapping on widgets above?I have the top row of widgets as 1/3 - 2/3 and I have the profile widget on the 1/3 and custom contend widget in the 2/3 both are set at 215 height.I have then inserted a full width channel widget with three channels. My issue is the title and controls of the channel widget is over the top of the widgets above. Anyone else experience this issue and if so any solutions?

This may not be an actual Docebo question, maybe it is a new feature request, but here goes.Our home page is broken into 3 columns.  The first we use for widgets that announce new courses, tips/tricks, links to articles, etc.  The second is My Courses & Learning Plans (sorted to ensure Learning Plans are listed at the top in a specific order using codes); and the third is their available catalogs (which spotlight courses based on branches).The question/request I have deals with the widgets in the first column.  A widget that recommends a new course is easy, I can link to the course registration.Is there a way to link directly to a resource in the Central Repository such as a job aid (file), video or HTML page?I know how to create Deep Links for launching a resource in Go.Learn.  That is GREAT if they are in Go.Learn.  But how can I do this for in the web based platform?BTW, here is the article

Hi,We are looking at introducing some VR content later in the year on the Docebo LMS and wonder if anyone is doing this now and if so what advice can you offer?To give you an idea we are looking at…VR videos that can be viewed on VR such as Oculus Quest I’ve just uploaded a YouTube VR video as a HTML Page and this gave the option as viewing in 360 which was really good. We have a test VR SCORM course but can’t seem to view in 360 which is odd!Would really appreciate how you tackled this from a user experience and any top tips would appreciated.ThanksAnt

Is there a limit on how many courses can be attached to a learning plan? In this scenario we have 38 courses. After having a user take and complete the learning plan. I noticed the scores on 6 courses did not post on Custom>user:courses report. The other courses show completions. However when looking in the Course>Reports under that username it shows 100% percent completion on all the courses in the learning plan. Why would several course quiz’s not post and other do post?Thank you so much for your time!

Hi,I’m trying to view and see what powerusers see and it’s not working out.I created a poweruser profile to edit courses. I created a poweruser user and assigned poweruser user to the poweruser profile that edits courses. I assigned 10 branches. I logged in as the power user but how do I edit courses? I select the gear icon and just “Background” jobs show. How do you access courses to edit while in poweruser mode

After our inspectors complete their Initial Certification Learning Plan we will be assessing them in a VR environment on their inspection process and accuracy.  This VR assessment will identify where they may need remediation.  If we assign them a specific remediation course that uses the same material that was in the Learning Plan (from the Central Repository), it will be marked already complete.  The only way I know to avoid this is to upload a second copy of the material designated for remediation.  But now I have REDUNDANT material which could lead to outdated material.How do you keep track of redundant material to ensure that if a change is made to the training it gets updated in ALL locations?Is there a trick that I am missing?To avoid the redundancy, I could use the same resource, but add a SURVEY to the remediation course.  Surveys can be tracked LOCAL.  But the training resource will still show as “complete” in the course, only the survey would need to

Good mornng community! Just coming off of a Taleo Learn instance that I helped to run for 8 years. Looking to “relate” and find others that are working through either a migration or did some similar work. I believe we will be like minded in a bunch of places.I am very excited to join the new community...and looking forward to contributing.In context, I went from leading a team of 7 direct reports and 3 indirect reports that worked with that older instance and decided it made sense for a change for myself and to look at my “new tomorrow” back in January. We have been evaluating products and came to the conclusion that Docebo is the best fit. I’m curious to hear where the community aligns the ongoing administration of Docebo in their organization. For example, does the admin role live under HR, IT, Org Development, etc? Or where does your organization put the administration of the platform at? Just curious about this! Thanks!Hannah

Today, custom reports all need to be created from a ‘starter template” which in some cases is not exactly what you need. I have been creative with reports and have added additional fields to carry information that is not included in some reports however this is not the bets solution as we have a limited amount of additional fields available. Although reports have a good amount of configurability, the templates limit you to only what that specific report is meant to show/export. What are your thoughts on seeing a reporting engine that would allow you to freely include data from different areas into a single report?One immediate improvement i would like to see if the ability so include TEXT fields in the reports, not just the dropdowns. Another idea would be to provide similar filters as we see on the user management screen; those work really well.Would be interested to hear from other members. Thank you

Hey Docebo Community    I had the opportunity to chat with two L&D Managers yesterday, both of which have just been hired to build a learning program at their new organizations. As we began chatting through their current content layout, it was interesting to hear how different their perspectives were on the thought of soft skills training. The first individual I spoke with was passionate about having soft skills training from the start. He’d had the opportunity to work at an organization in the past with an LMS that offered lots of Excel courses, so he’d devoted time to taking them and was now confident in the tool and grateful for the opportunity. Hey everyone: What are some ways that you have created community through Docebo? Looking for some new ways to connect people. 

When we are creating new sessions/events the event creates without allowing you to type in how early you would like the “join” button to display.  When you go back into the system and update it, the system things you are changing the meeting so it deletes the Zoom Meeting and creates and updated on. This triggers emails telling us our sessions are deleted (which it is set to a shared address). Has anyone found a solution to this? Some of the users getting the emails are not thrilled about it (rightly so), but I have learned to just ignore them. If someone actually ever deleted something I needed, I would honestly probably not even notice! YIKES!
