We have built a course in Articulate Storyline with five quizzes. The number of quizzes taken by the learner depends on which pathway they take through the course - i.e. they are not mandatory. Hi,I am setting up Additional Fields, and am trying to make some of the fields invisible to certain branches and visible/mandatory to others. How do I do that? I added the configuration details in the response below. Thanks for your insights!

Interested to know how people deal with courses and learning plans that are no longer needing to be active?For example a course that is no longer running, or a learning plan that is no longer needed (or superseded by another).You can delete a course, but then all the associated completion records are deleted too, and they are still required for reporting purposes.  Plus it might be handy for learners to still see the course completion information in their My Courses page.  We considered putting it back from Published to Under Maintenance, but that seems a bit messy.  On a previous LMS we were able to ‘retire’ courses so they were no longer visible to any learners, but still on the system for reporting purposes.Do others simply take the courses out of any visible catalogs?Any thoughts on this gratefully received :-)Sean

So I am looking through Advanced settings, and maybe someone has some more insight to what this feature is or can someone help clarify what this means?Anonymize Deleted Users: while this option is enabled, the deleted users’ data is stored in the platform in anonymous mode and it will no longer be possible to retrieve it, even by disabling the option. Hi folks & happy Friday.Someone brought to my attention that on the Course Player (we use the new one), when they’re viewing a course or Learning Plan for which they’re not enrolled, they see the label ‘Instructor’ above the Enroll button (see below). It doesn’t really make sense, & I’d imagine will lead to some confusion. We’d like to change it but  it’s difficult to tell on the Localization Tool where this label comes from because the lone word ‘Instructor’ shows up several times. As a side-note, we’re currently having issues with editing on this page, but that’s a separate issue which has earned itself a ticket for the Help Desk.Has anyone else seen this? If so, could anyone tell me exactly where in Localization Tool I would go to fix it?Thanks!

Dear fellow Docebo admins,I was requested to prepare an assessment quiz: based on quiz result, a user should be enrolled into a course or into another one.I found that group can be populated based on the enrollment status, but the status is not sufficient. Having people in groups allow the use of the enrollment automation, but I don’t know how to populate groups based on test result.Thanks in advance for your help.RegardsStefano

Just tried to log a support ticket and it looks like the entire list of options has changed. I no longer see any options for Course Management issues and when I chose Reports, there are no secondary choices..??HUH? what happened? Anyone know?

We have a notification that is triggered by the ILT Event Starting event, and it is set to send a week before the class starts as a reminder. We were made aware of an instance when a user who was on the Wait List received this reminder, leading him to believe that he was enrolled in the course when he was not.We’ve had many course sessions with wait lists, and we have never heard of this happening before, so we were confused.In looking into the user’s history, we saw that he enrolled in the session initially and actually got into the class, then he unenrolled himself. Later he attempted to enroll in the same session again but was put on the wait list since by that time the course was full.Is it possible that because he originally had the “Enrolled” status, Docebo erroneously thought he should get the reminder notification, even though his most recent status was “Waiting Users”?We are a bit stumped, but if this is the case, it is a bug that needs to be addressed.Thanks!

Is there an easy way to run a report to count annual unique users? I ran a few workaround reports, which still require some computation to get the correct answer.

We are using Autho Auto Provisioning and running into a 404 error when logging in, Has anyone got Auto Provisioning working with Autho. Any recommended steps to complete? We see the account getting created in Autho but nothing is store temporarily in Docebo for Authentication.__PRESENT

Hi Docebo Community Team,I am currently creating a New certificate on the platform. It happens that I was testing using a real long course title (course_name) so see how the course title is populated on the certificate and found that the title is going beyond my uploaded background image.Is there a way to fix this? Is there a way to add a line beak so that if there is any course with a real long title it would auto fix the course title length with the uploaded background image. 

Hi, looking for some recommendations on notification use. We are using the “Learner Has yet To Complete a Course” which was set up to give leaders quick visibility that their team has training yet to complete to assist with on time course completion. Since this notification is based on enrollment dates it includes both E-Learning and ILT courses.Sample of what is being sent to the Manger:Your direct report, EMPLOYEE NAME has not completed course TITLE OF COURSE that expires on (THIS IS BLANK BECAUSE ILT COURSE DOES NOT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE).This notification is intended for our E-Learning courses and doesn’t work well for ILT courses. Is there a way to easily use this notification for E-Learning courses only? I see you can check the courses that it should apply to but seems that would be time consuming as courses are added.  Are there other notifications that could be used for best practices?I appreciate any recommendations.

Hi all, Would you happen to know of an API that retrieves the results of a course’s TEST learning objective?I thought the `GET /learn/v1/tests` should do it but I am afraid it does not; in fact I am not sure I understand what is its purpose. Cheers,George

Just wondering if anyone has had a problem.  This morning, I ran one of my background jobs AND it came back as aborted.I tried running again AND it went through like I thought it would; however, I don’t see the spinning within the background job area.Anyone else????

Is there a way how I can delete multiple existing tags via the API browser. I have been trying to delete but I have to delete one at a time by putting the tag id. Any help regarding selecting the range or deleting all the exciting tags in docebo would be appreciated.

Why are deleted users coming back as new users when UKG automation runs?

We’re in the process of setting up our instance and have a GDPR-type question. The platform will mostly be for customer onboarding and training and we’ve got some strict data retention policies. We were hoping to achieve something along these linesIf the account is active, we keep the data indefinitely. After 12 months of inactivity, notify the user (ideally via email) that if they do not login, we will delete their account. If they don't login within one month, we delete their account.We’ve worked out that we can use “automation” to “expire” users after 12 months of inactivity. The two things we haven’t worked out is a) how to notify users before we expire them to give the an opportunity to keep their account and b) how to automatically delete expired users after a certain time.Any advice welcome - thanks in advance

Our custom reports data has not updated since 9/26/23 at 4 pm. Anyone else having this issue? We already submitted a ticket for escalation, but I’m curious to know if this is impacting only us or if it’s a widespread issue.

We recently ran into an interesting problem with reporting on users who did not attend a ILT session they signed up for. Since were only able to run reports on attendance status, we’ve been using ‘suspend’ in lieu of a ‘not attended’ status.The problem is that ‘suspend’ will then lock out the user who missed a session from signing up for a new one.As a work around we are going to try duplicating each ILT course and using one to mark users who didn’t attend as suspended for reporting purposes, while still allowing the user to enroll in a new course in the original course. I’m just wondering - does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this problem differently. If not, maybe future updates to the enrollment status options might help.Thank you!

For our ILT, we have multiple different sessions per “course”. We want all sessions, or the ones the learner attended, printed on the certificate. For some reason, only one of the sessions will show up though. For example, how would I get both of these below sessions to show on the certificate?  

We would like to use the calendar widget in the agenda view since it displays the ilt location and date details.  However, we would like to pre filter it so that only the ILT courses show but when I filter it does not change the URL.  Is anyone else aware of a way to filter the calendar widget to only show ILT.  

We use Power Users on a limited basis. One Department’s Power Users cannot see New Hires in their User Assigned group. They have access to All Users, and 2 Groups based on Job Titles and and Department.Why cannot the Power Users see any new additions to these groups?

Hi Docebo Community Team,We’ve had Docebo Learn LMS for about 2 years (including onboarding and setup). We avoided turning on Gamification because we use this system for our external clients.My understanding is that once we activate Gamification it will show and be available for all of our clients in all branches.Is there any way to segment and turn it off/on for specific clients who may not want their org to participate in the contests or gamification?

As with other “policy attestation” posts, we’re having issues with the current workaround methods being insufficient for auditors. Last year, we used a survey training assignment where we asked users to type their name to confirm they attest to understanding and adhering to our IS policy and Acceptable Use Policy.  However, a few users submitted garbage responses, and survey assignments (at least as far as I can tell) do not allow displaying a user’s specific response after the fact for evidence collection (the only option we have is to export a full list of all responses).  Our auditors pushed back this year on having adequate evidence re: each employee’s attestation to policies, so I’m trying to make something else work for this year’s training.I am looking for a way in which to use the email shortcodes in test and/or survey questions and test validation responses, so that I can display what the system has on record for each user re: their [first_name] [last_name] in the question, an
