Hi there,We have many courses set up where the initial course is long, and does not need to be repeated, but a shorter ‘refresher’ course needs to be repeated yearly.  These have been set up early this year (newbies to Docebo!) as being equivalent courses, with recertification linked to the refresher.What I’m finding is that as soon as someone hits ‘renew’ on the certification, and chooses a session for the shorter refresher course, the system is saying that the course is now complete, and renews the certification for another year, before the user even attends the session or completes any training.Having read other past ‘conversations’ I believe this is because of the course equivalencies, is this correct? Suggestions on the simplest solution to this? Should I stop using the equivalencies function?Any help appreciated!!

Anyone else not thrilled with the new course player header layout options?  I like having those options, don’t get me wrong, but they do not work like I would hope.I am actually testing from a Learning Plan at this time, not an individual course, so please correct me if this does in fact work correctly from an individual course!For the Solid Color Layout option, you can set a color to use, but it does not in fact show a solid color… it uses a gradient with no options to change the other shades in the gradient.  So we can choose to use one of our brand colors, but because of the gradient it does not align with our branding.  For example, we have a Cerulean color selected but this is how it appears:...when it should just be the very top layer of color:

Hello!We have a customer that wants sub-catalogs or categories of courses. Their courses are already broken down into 4 catalogs, but they would like categories under one of those. They also want these subcategories/catalogs to display on the learners’ dashboards but I am having a very hard time figuring out how accomplish this. I have created two test courses and put them both in the same catalog but different categories. There is no category widget for dashboards, but I keep seeing references to this being accomplished with the catalog widget and displaying associated categories as “tiles.” Does anyone have experience with this or other ways to further categorize courses? We don’t want them in a learning plan but as individual courses grouped together. I hope at least some of this makes sense!  Thanks in advance  

I’ve been reading through other posts and the articles and can’t quite find the answer to my question.Use case: We have an in person ILT and want to provide a way for each learner to be marked as attended without having to pass around a paper for sign in and then enter in Docebo later. We would like to have a QR code that they can scan when in the room that will mark attendance.My understanding was that the only way to do this would be to have an evaluation set up, so I started working on that, thinking I’d just have 1 question so it’s easy. But looking at the evaluation settings, it looks like the evaluation gets emailed to all enrolled. Which makes using it as an attendance mechanism unusable.Am I missing something? This shouldn’t be so hard.

This may strike some of you as a dumb question, but I don’t care, I’ve spent too long looking for a definitive answer without finding one.If we configure Docebo VILT for Microsoft Teams, will attendance in Docebo be synced from the actual attendance records in Microsoft Teams?

Hi...I’m hoping someone may be able to save my sanity.We’re holding a sales conference and have created courses/sessions using the ILT function...so that our attendees know where they need to be. All courses/sessions are fine apart from one. When a user logs into the desktop version of your platform the specific session they’re enrolled in is absolutely fine and visible (as below):However, when they log into the Go Learn App they see the below:I can only think it’s a setting issue and I've done something differently when creating this course/sessions, but I’ve gone through and all courses appear to have the same settings.Has anyone come across this issue before? It’

I’m creating an exam where I need to randomly generate questions from a number of categories. The “show a certain number of questions for each category” works great for my use case as far as pulling questions, but I need the categories themselves to appear in a certain order, as the test questions get progressively more complex. For example: Category A: 2/5 questionsCategory B: 3/10 questionsCategory C: 4/8 questions Is there a way to have the Category A questions appear first, followed by Categories B and C?

Somehow this escaped my attention for a while, since none of my Power Users brought it up, but I accidentally discovered that though my PUs can create new groups, they cannot activate them. And they cannot add users to the group until they’re activated. And I cannot give them this right.So what’s the point in letting them create groups they cannot use? They have to reach out to me every time they make one to request activation, wasting their time, wasting my time. Please help me understand why this is a logical workflow. Why can’t I just give them authority to activate their own groups, which wasn’t even a thing like a year ago?

We have a client that is trying to add a video to a course using the Record Your Screen option but she said she hits the record button and it flashes and then disappears.  Not sure if this is a user/pc issue, Docebo, or ScreenPal.

Hi Community!I’m the LMS admin for our platform and I have a question about configuring user language settings. We currently use SSO as our primary login method, which conveniently allows the language attribute to be filled automatically upon login. Recently, we’ve enabled OIDC for users to log in as well, but it seems that OIDC doesn’t support passing or updating the language attribute.Has anyone found a workaround for this? Ideally, we’d like to avoid any manual intervention for updating user language preferences. Any ideas, suggestions, or best practices would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!Roberto 

Hi All - Wondering if we do not have something set up properly? When our supervisors go to their My Team page, they can see that some of their team has course overdue, however when they head over to the courses tab, it’s showing that nothing is overdue?     

We are looking for a solution that enables us to capture a pre-training intake, a post-training evaluation, and a follow-up evaluation after training. The goal is to group and track the results per user, allowing us to measure the actual impact on each individual over time.While Learning Evaluation supports post-training and follow-up, it does not currently support pre-training surveys, which means we cannot fully cover the desired evaluation flow through learning evaluation. we’re wondering if other people have a similar requirement and how you have resolved this.

What’s the easiest way to unenroll a user from multiple courses?  We have HR team members who show other users how to enroll in courses and as a result are now enrolled in dozens of courses that they won’t ever actually take.  Is there an easy way to unroll a user from a large number at once.

Hi Everyone, I am hoping for a little more insight on this one. I have a couple of Power Users that are assigned to the same profile. Both have the same branch path and Resource assignment: All courses and Learning plans applied. One of the users created a course and the second one cannot see it in course management.  Do we also have to add the course to a catalog even though both PU’s have the All Courses and Learning Plans resource assignment? I didn’t think that I would need to since we did not choose the All courses and learning plans in visible catalogs resource option. Most of what I have been reading within the community mentions adding the courses to a catalog.  Thank you for the help!! 

Is this a known issue? See attached gif (videos cannot be uploaded here).This occurs when you edit the content within a text box in course management in the details text editor box. If you add an emoji, even just one, all of the text within the box will erase, even after the confirmation window appears that it saved successfully.I did open a ticket but out of curiosity, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?It took me a little while to pinpoint exactly what was erasing the content as there are not any character limits or warnings but after a little testing, I realized it happened after adding even just one emoji.

I’m wondering if someone can help...I have Power Users (planners) who need to enrol operatives into ILT sessions, but if I only assign them the branch they’re responsible for, those are the only enrolments they can see.For example, it will say 0/12 because no one in their branch is enrolled in that session, but the session could actually be fully booked with users from other branches! So, to them, it will look like there’s space on the session, when there isn’t… which seems a real problem.I don’t really want to assign all staff to them because of the editing permissions they have.Any suggestions for a way around this?

Hi,I want to create a bunch of power users who can go into certain courses and see who is enrolled onto the sessions.  I have created a profile that has ‘view’ permissions for courses, ILT sessions, and users, but for some reason although the the power user can go into course managament and see the courses and sessions, they cannot see who is enrolled on the sessions e.g. for one of the sessions  it says 0/15 (instead of 4/15 as there are 4 enrolments).  any ideas? Karl

I have the files in the widget, but when viewing the course, the names aren’t there. I can only see the file type icon. Anyone have a fix for this? 

I would like some guidance on extracting/analyzing test data in a useful way. I’m having to spend a lot of time deleting cells from the report just so the data is accurate. The way the excel spreadsheet is exported it gives a Yes or No column based on how the question was answered. My understanding is that includes every question in the test and assigns a No if the test-taker didn’t answer the question (they didn’t get the question to even answer it). In the image below, I have replaced the No with a 0 and the Yes with a 1 in an effort to get an average pass/fail rate. This seems like a lot of work around. Does anyone have a better way?   

I made several recording using Peek and created folder in Review. Does anyone know why the “Budget Upload” recordings (see Budget Upload screenshot) have nice title thumbnails but others do not (see Change Orders screenshot)?

We have a text Additional Field in our user profiles for their orgnization levels (department, division) but we found that since our HRIS has an inconsistent way of abbreviating these for employees, the informaiton does not match what we are manually entering for contractors (those that are not in the HRIS). We want to change this field to a drop down. Assuming we just add the drop down and mredo the SFTP automation mapping to that field instead of the current text field, are there any implications we are missing that we should consider? This isn’t really addressed in the help documentation. Thanks!

We’re looking for pros and cons of the following options:Scenario: We have a workshop series of 10 classes where the learner must attend all classes, and learners are enrolled by the admin (no self-enrollment)Options:1 ILT course shell > 10 sessions > each with their own event. The admin will enroll the learners into all 10 sessions and corresponding events.Or1 ILT course shell > 1 session > 10 events. The admin is also enrolling all the learners into all 10 events. thanks all!

In my organisation, we do fairly regular events that can be quite large and people can attend both virtually and in-person. The challenge that I’m having is that it can be quite challenging to encourage in-person attendees to bring along their laptop and join the meeting to log their attendance, only to then leave the meeting right away. Attendance numbers are also too high for us to realistically be able to take a list of in-person attendees and then manually mark them as attended after the fact.A colleague seems to remember seeing something to do with being able to scan a QR code to confirm your attendance, which could be a better solution for us, but I can’t find much reference to it anywhere online.Has anyone got any experience in dealing with this kinds of issues?
