Returning to previous page in Docebo

Does anyone know why it’s often impossible to return directly to the previous page in the Admin Menu and other areas of Docebo? It’s possible at the very top of the menu, but once I get to second level links or below, there’s no way to do it. This adds to the workload when editing multiple courses or users, because once you’ve loaded a page there’s no direct path back to the previous one. For example, right now I’m editing the course code for almost 80 courses spread over 4 pages in Course Management. Once I’m on page 2 of the course list, clicking the back arrow in either Docebo or my browser always returns me to page 1 rather than page 2. This isn’t a big deal if you only have a few edits to make, but it can get frustrating when you have many to do. I tried getting around this by opening the edit link in a new tab, but for some reason that option is disabled as well.

Navigation when editing tests in Course Management

Hi all,I’m currently editing tests in a course consisting of 6 folders. When I click the [BACK] button after editing one of the tests, I’m taken to the very top of the [TRAINING MATERIAL] hierarchy rather than the folder in which the test is stored. This means I need to keep clicking the folder again to go back to editing the remaining tests in the folder. This is only 1 extra click, but due to the number of tests I’m editing, it’s significantly impacting the efficiency of my workflow. I’m thinking about submitting an idea to see if navigation can be modified to go straight back to the folder, but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this and thinks it would be worthwhile submitting an idea. I suppose if you are only making one edit, it might make sense to go straight back to the top of the hierarchy rather than the folder in which you were editing. However, when I make changes to videos, I’m taken back to the folder in which the video is stored rather than the top.

Session UUID vs. Session ID

I have created a course and session and am attempting to import the events. I keep striking an error on Session_UUID. What is this field and where do I find the information? Alternatively, where do I find the Session ID?

Why can't a learner rewatch a SCORM in a Course as many times as they want?

Can someone help clear something up for me? For some reason when a learner or facilitator completes a course, then that’s it. they can’t go back and re-watch it again. Help has told me that I have to go into the username, to run a report then click X on their Version Status Reset Score? So I would have to do this for every course in a Learning Plan? Surely there’s something missing, no? That means for every learning plan there is an average of 5-8 courses each and who knows how many people are registered. What am I missing here?

Managers and Teams - help!!!

Is this the only way for managees to pick their manager? For managers picking managees - it seems they can’t use the admin gear → users page to pick other power-users as managees. They can only do this from the my teams page. However, if someone has no managees or managers, the my teams page is hidden from their hamburger menu… Anyone have good workarounds? We have 140k users and 0 org charting - yet.Not all of our 580 member companies WANT mandatory manager selection, so the choice in the screenshot is subideal. Also, for some orgs, we don’t have the manager created yet as a user, but their managees might log in...

Permission vs Catalog

Hi,I have setup course catalog and added courseA which are displayed on internal page only. When the learner is in the group which has permission to enroll and log-in as the learner, I can see the specified courseA in the catalog only. However, when the learner is not in the group which has permission to enroll and log-in as the learner, I can see not only the courseA in the course catalog but also other courses. Is there any configuration I am missing?

How does Docebo Transaction run when Importing Enrollments from Another Course

We have Series LPs where the enrollees are manually added to the next series of Courses. How does the Transaction trigger from these “automatic” enrollments? There is not button to toggle to trigger the transaction. And we don’t store CC info. We are using Authorize.Net as our payment gateway. I can’t find anything in Knowledge Base or the Community. Any thoughts on how to 1) store a CC number and 2) subsequently trigger the transaction and receipt.

Editing External Training

Hello! I come with a question about External Training. We currently allow our users to enter external training without approval. This seems to result in a situation where they cannot edit or delete external trainings. We’d like to have the option to allow full editing for them when it comes to those external trainings. I found this idea here: But what OP describes doesn’t seem to match what I’m experiencing.If we turn on approvals, users CAN edit and delete, but once it’s approved they can no longer make any changes to the external training.I’m wondering if anyone else has come up against this, with our need, and what you have done.An obvious workaround seems be that we turn on approvals, but then never actually approve anything which allows users to edit and delete at will. But does this mess up external training reporting or anything else I’m not thinking about?Love to hear others experiences.

Is there a way of renaming this page to ‘External/local training’? We want local department training to be recorded by the individuals rather than centrally, but at the moment the name makes it sound like you should only record training you have done externally to the organisation. Can it be renamed (I looked in the localisation tool and couldn't find a way)

Is there a good way to sell an external product in docebo?

We use a personality test called Harrison’s and sell it to our members at cost.In our old workflow we have a system where people fill out a form and get charged for it - and can check out as often as they want (e.g. a poweruser can buy this for 20 of their employees) I’m fine handling the backend stuff myself, but is there a way for me to put a form with a fee (or even just a fee) in docebo that isn’t a one-time purchase? Almost as if it were a cash version of the rewards shop. Worst case I’ll outlink or iframe the whole process, but it would be nice to put it in Docebo.

Customise Learning plan slideup panel

HiI would like to ad some more text like “Click her for learninplan”, or something like that, in the pink slide up panel in the picture below. Just to make it a bit mor obvious, and easy to revert back to the learning plan. Anyone that has a good solution for that?

Thumbnail Mass Deletion?

Is it possible to perform a mass deletion of thumbnails...I don’t necessarily want to delete all of the thumbnail images but I do want to delete a lot of them and going through manually one-by-one is very tedious and actually causing my computer to crash because we have too many uploaded.I share my platform with other people who do not have LMS admin backgrounds and it’s become cluttered so I would like to do some cleanup.

Report on registered users that haven't been enrolled to any courses/LPs

Hello community,May I know how can I generate a report that can list down registered users that haven't been enrolled to any courses/LPs in the platform?Our client has close to 500 courses in the platform. Quite troublesome for them to check who else in their registered users that haven’t been enrolled to courses/LPs. They are also looking at this report to check against their Power BI report as it doesn’t seem to tally.Is there a way that we can generate such report, either directly from the platform or using API?Thank you.

Docebo tracking

Is there any way we can get some analytics out of docebo? We create a homepage when we went live and it was a bets guess on how we though our users would want to find and enrol on courses. IM interested to know the pathways people are taking e.g. did they go through the catalogue, the calendar, or the search before enroling on a course. This would help us to rebrand and re-organise the content.

Learning plan with separate Webinar and e-course vs. ILT course

Hi everyone!I’m curious about your use cases and experience with the ILT.Our company is pretty new to Docebo, and I’m working on creating an experience where people would go through the live session, then self-paced materials, and one more live session.I’m considering creating a learning plan that would consist of ILT with only live session, then create e-learning and add self-paced materials there and, in the end, one more ILT for the live session.If you have done something similar before, could you please share your observations about the advantages of doing it like that rather than creating only one ILT with two live sessions?Thank you!

I have a particular user who is having trouble accessing their courses. They didn’t say which courses. Can I search Docebo by the name/user id of that particular individual to see all the courses they are enrolled in?I can’t seem to figure out how to do this!

Is there a way of automatically or filtering deactivated users from course sessions? I am aware that this can be done in the enrolment tab but wondered why if a user has been deactivated are they still present in the session numbers?

Automatic Course Recommendations - How does Docebo decide what to show?

Am trying to understand the logic behind the course recommendations...has anyone been able to understand what algorithm(s) are used to display recommendations to users? if yes, are there any ways to influence what appears to users?As admins, we often get these questions when the recommendations don;’t seem to make sense to certain users. Ii would be great to be able to explain, influence and perhaps change the recommendations offered to our users…I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thank you
