Can I get an API token Using Python

I am trying to follow the documentation for getting an API token. Publishing from Storyline: Passed/Failed or Completed/Incomplete

Hello,We are going to begin using Docebo at my company soon. We publish many SCORM courses from Storyline, and for most of them it makes sense to select “Completed/Incomplete” under “Report Status to LMS as...” Our current LMS doesn’t register whether a course was passed or failed, even though that would have been a nice option for our tests. Since we’re moving to Docebo I need to know what the option are: how does Docebo treat each different LMS Reporting option? In particular, does Docebo register something as Passed or Failed? There are four total options:Passed/Incomplete Passed/Failed Completed/Incomplete Completed/FailedScreenshot attached. Viewing Observation Checklist Answers

How to disable My Skills pop-up using CSS?

I’m aware that we can disable My Skills functionality completely to get rid of the pop up saying that you need to add your skills to your profile, however, the thing is… we want to be using My Skills - just without the pop up.The unfortunate thing about it is that after you finish adding your skills, you get redirected to All Channels, which is also something we don’t want - especially for new users, who see this pop-up as the first thing after they log in and then get redirected to a page that is not even our home page (and is generally not in use).Is there any way to disable this pop up using CSS or something else but without disabling the My Skills channel?Thanks!

Rise course- not loading

Hi,I have multiple users who are experiencing the same issue:Rise course was started I, instructional designer, loaded a new version Rise course was started again, and now it’s a blank screen.Users have cleared cache and closed and reopened browser. I replicate the issue when I log in as the user in their accounts on my computer, where I don’t experience the issue.  Can I clear server-side cache? What options do I have? Preferable ones that don’t requires the learner to redo all the course content.

QR Codes for marking attendance

Hi has anyone leveraged this:https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408352796434-Using-QR-Codes-to-Access-Learning-Impact-Questionnaires-and-Mark-AttendanceI am curious about the marking attendance component - where a person can scan a QR code and get access to the attendance sheet...this seems ingenius and puts it in the hands of people attending to come back in and mark themselves as attending...that said? It also seems like it is only available from the learning impact side of the product...which seems like it is a disconnect to me.Any way to have users mark themselves as attending via the same mechanism without buying into Learning Impact??????

Join the webinar button not displaying on the mobile app

Hello!I am wondering if anyone is experiencing issues accessing ILT & VILT via the Go Learn app?As an organization, we are trying to offer more flexibility to our members so I started testing and I cannot make it to work. I followed all the instructions listed in the knowledge base articles including ‘Managing Webinar Tools for VILT Courses on Mobile’. - We are using Zoom. I have the zoom app downloaded on my phone--- but I am not getting the notification and the ‘join the webinar’ button to show up on the app. The notifications are displaying properly on the platform and via the email.  I tried setting up notification to display ‘at the time’ of the event and also 15 minutes prior to the event, and still no join button on the app. I know it is hard to troubleshoot from this minimal amount of information but maybe you have an idea about what am I doing wrong? Length of the video training material is reduced

Dear Community, We tried to upload a mp4 video file of length 6:50 and the file size is 268 MB. When we uploaded the training material into a course, it plays only for 3:20 and the remaining part of the video is not uploaded. When I tried again, it worked fine, but still some of the power users in the system are facing this issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.

Hi,is there a way to target a specific page via custom CSS? Like changing font or hiding stuff only on that page? I thought of using page IDs, but inspecting pages with the browser inspector I can’t find any reference to them.

Multiple ILT Configurations

I’m looking for a best practice to configure ILTs in the system in a way that will ensure that participants register for all classes for multiple day ILTs.The difficulty is that we offer several configurations of ILTs, like an ala carte menu. For example:Class A Class B Class C Class A+B+C Class B+CRecently, we hosted a training with A+B+C, and had a terrible problem with participants not registering for all three, resulting in more people in attendance than expected. Clearly, we could create one ILT that combines all three, but sometimes we need to only offer class A, or class B. Further, we may need to run a report on all participants that have completed any configuration with Class B, for instance. Because they have to register for a session in the ILT, I don’t think creating a learning plan for each configuration would work. Has anyone figured out a solution for this problem?

Login Message for a Deactivated User

I’ve noticed the message displayed to a user at login with a simple username/password mismatch seems to be the same as if they have tried to login with a deactivated account.Is there a way to customise the message to indicate the account is deactivated rather than the same generic message for an account username/password mismatch? I would rather they approach a solution to their problem differently than a simple username/password mismatch.I’ve looked in the localisation tool and the translation for the language I use and cannot see a way to adjust, or if there is a specific message I can use to modify.Any pointers appreciated.

Add a forum as a training material

Dear community, You might help in my course configuration. I am currently creating a course which aims at sharing best practices to improve one’s learning process. This course consists in a small video, followed by a discussion on the tips that were presented into it. I would like learners to share their best practices right after watching the video but unfortunately the forum only appears below the course description and not after the course itself. I feel it might affect the user learning experience that way.  Here is where the forum appears : While I would like it to appear there :Is there anything I am missing in the configuration settings or it is not possible ? Thanks a lot for your help !

Slide converter

Hello, I am looking into the possibility of using slide converter to upload slides and allow users playing them without the need of download.I gave it a try with slide converter but media in the deck do not play. Is it supposed to work this way or am I missing something?thanks.Elena

 If staff have been enrolled to a course but have not attended, when we put on another session how do we get the enrolment  notification to send to the same group  without unenrolling  and loosing records of staff who completed the training?

Test available for ILT session

Hello I have a problem/question about ILT course.In our last ILT course, that will be in-class, I want the learner to be able to go on the platform to take the final test. So i want to add a training material that is only available for the people enrolled in that session and only during a specific time. So lets say the session in tomorow from 10:00 to 18:00, I would like if the training material could unlock from 16:00 to 18:00.Thank you for the help in advance !

Notification for New Users using SSO

Hi!Will the notification User has been created (by administrator) work for users created by migration from another platform? We use SSO for our users and they automatically get migrated over, I assume by an API or some kind of data sync? We are doing auto enrolments for some courses that are required for our industry and we would like to send some kind of auto “welcome” email when users are created so we can explain what the LMS is, what courses they have been enrolled in etc.

Visibility of Skill Definitions

As I create new skills in Skill Management, I’m wondering where the definitions for the skills show up to others, if at all. I know I can see them if I go to edit a skill from the Platform Catalog tab, but do the learners, course developers, or any other non-Admin see the skill definitions? If not, what is the purpose of putting the effort into writing them?

Inconsistent display of locked courses in global search results for power users

Hi All, I want to ensure I understand the global search results my Power Users are experiencing. ScenarioPower Users have access/visibility to select courses managed via a Learning Plan as part of their Resources. They can enroll users and report on these select courses as part of their Permissions.Courses are configured to NOT allow self-enrollments.Learners only receive results for the courses they are enrolled in.ExperienceBy default, when using the global search on the site, the Power Users receive all the courses they have permission to in the results, however they are locked. I assume this is because, by default they are NOT enrolled in the courses and self-enrollment is not allowed. Once enrolled in a course, that course is unlocked.Inconsistent Display Issue?We are finding that some locked courses display the lock and others do not. Forum as a space hub for learners?

Hi everybody, I’m looking for a hub in Docebo for learners.My company requested a space where people can exchange learning materials, share official communications with tutor and lecturers, and so on. Is the forum a valid option for those activities? Should the forum be linked to a single ILT course?I’m not very familiar with Docebo as a LMS (I’m far more experienced with Articulate tools) so I’m looking for help!Thank you! Have a good day!

Branded App: US Export Compliance

Dear all,This is a question for anyone who has published the Branded App. We are currently struggling with the legal aspects of the US “Export Compliance and Self-Classification Report for Encryption Items”, as described in this KB article:https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020081560-Export-Compliance-and-Self-Classification-Report-for-Encryption-ItemsFirstly, does anyone know why this is only required for publishing on the Apple App Store, and not Google’s Play store?  it seems counterintuitive and we are not keen to take it for granted that it’s really the case. Secondly, did anyone need to select a different “ECCN” code to the one in the template (5D002)?  From the US Govt guidance, it seems that this code might be different depending on who your customers are etc. Grateful for any insights folks may have!Alan

How to you manage notification unsubcriptions?

I’m curious to know where you manage user subscription preferences for Docebo emailings? I wasn’t able to find any function in the platform to do this, so I’m pointing users to an external unsubscription form, and manually removing users (if any) from my mailing Group every month… Not the most efficient process - I’m sure there are better ideas out there! Thanks in advance :)  And linked to this, how do you manage communication opt-ins for EU users, linked to GDPR requirements? Added to registration form?
