Recommended Image height for widgets
I am trying to determine a good starting point for image height for widgets on pages. The documentation only talks about with.Images are displayed in order to fit the available width. Since the original image ratio is preserved, the widget height will be resized accordingly. Make sure the image width is not smaller than the widget width, or it will be scaled up and might look blurry. Widget widths are 444px for 1/3 row widget, 680px 1/2 row widgets, 917px for 2/3 row widgets and 1390px for full row.I am not a graphics artist and I need to ask for approved images from Marketing, who is asking me for the aspect ratio (height x width). I will be using a combination of 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and full rows. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Options for Displaying Sequential Learning Plans
We use Docebo for internal company learning, and up until now have only had sales content. We are working on opening up our platform company wide and will start having all our required onboarding and training content here. We want to provide different content for different employees (such as sales, managers, etc), but there will also be LPs all employees will be required to complete. We have been looking into channels and catalogs. However, we have run into a few roadblocks with this.We need our content to be sequential, so we currently have enrollment rules setup with groups for our Learning Plans (we currently have around 11). But once we open to more than sales content, we want to be able to filter the Learning Plans down to only show specific content. Since all our content is currently sales, we use learning plan widgets to show the progress of LPs, but the display will eventually contain our new non-sales content we release.We are struggling with finding a way to utilize channels
Registering two different ILTs same day and same time
Hi all,I did a test in my platform regarding the subject above.Scenario: A user did a self-enrolment to one ILT. A few days later, he enrolled himself to another ILT that coincidentally fall on the same date and time of the first ILT. System allows the enrolment and now the user has double booked himself.Is this correct or is this a bug?Thank you.
Putting a navigation menu on a page
I’ve got one page that has a lot of catalogs that all fall under the umbrella of HR & Wellness.I want to put a quick navigation menu at the top of the page so people can quickly jump to the catalog they want.I found the CSS IDs of each of the widgets, and created an HTML widget with links that points to them. e.g. if the widget is doc-widget-341, I make a <a> tag that goes to “#doc-widget-341”.However, the page reloads with every clicked link. Export Course Details
Is there a mechanism to export course information? I am looking for the field data and not the attendance information. We just want to be able to sort of “back up” some of the additional data and if there was a way to export all of that data that would be great. Was just wondering if anyone has come across anything like that.
Notification for extended enterprise
In the extended enterprise, we have created a subfolder domain (ourplatform.docebosaas.com/subfolder) for our domain (ourplatform.docebosaas.com) and assigned a branch to the subfolder domain. Then I set up a notification for that branch. But when the user in that branch receives the notification it shows the domain ourplatform.docebosaas.com instead of ourplatform.docebosaas.com/subfolder in the site/course URL . Has anyone encountered this problem or has any idea how to fix this?
e-Learning Time Option
Hi everyone,I am now seeing an updated version of Course Management in my demo platform. The usual tabs that we see on top has been moved to the left side of the page, and some of the fields have been combined.May I know where do I find time options for e-Learning where we can set start date, end date, soft deadline and days of validity?Thanks a bunch!
Discover, Coach, & Share as a social platform
Our users like to build a community with other learners in the same program as them. We had previously used Facebook groups to encourage the social aspect but are now looking to possibly utilize Discover, Coach, & Share as a social platform to help us centralize our users in Docebo. Is anyone else using DC&S this way? Is this even possible?
Teams recording missing
Hi allThis may be a Teams/Microsoft issue but at this point we’re not sure…We have been using Zoom for our webinars but have finally got around to integrating Teams. We are using a shared resource account for the integration and the session launched and all was fine. I recorded the session in Teams but I now can’t find it. It’s not in my Streams or in the Streams of the account that was used for the meeting. Do recordings work fine for you when using Teams integration and if so where do you find the recordings?It’s OK - we tracked it down to my OneDrive instead of Streams.
Browser Recognition - Docebo backend
Hi Docebo,We get a lot of students stating they’re using Firefox when they’re actually using Safari. If a student continually lies about what browser they’re using its a real time suck getting to the truth of the matter via screenshots.I’m wondering if there is a way for docebo to determine what browser a student is using on the backend? If so I would like to suggest this feature be added to future releases. Thank you, Logan
What was your implementation journey like?
Hello Docebo community friends! I am reaching out to this wonderful and supportive community because we are currently in the process of implementing our new learning platform with Docebo. We are still in the early stages of our implementation, so as you know there’s a tremendous amount of work ahead of us. We are not the first (or last) company to implement Docebo, so I though it would be beneficial to reach out to see if my community friends would be willing to help us in our journey. I would like to start by asking a few questions. How long ago did you implement Docebo? What do you know now that you wish you knew then? Would you be willing to share your UAT test scripts with us? What was the hardest thing to complete in your implementation? What type of feedback are receiving from your users? Would you be willing to connect via phone for a quick Q&A session? Retire a ILT course
How do we disable/retire a course?We have several ILT courses that have training materials and sessions. In the past, users were enrolled in these courses, accessed the training materials, took a quiz. They have existing records that we do not want to unlink/remove. We recently added a new course and would like to take these older ILT courses offline. We selected to make it unpublished but oddly enough they still show up on the users catalog for selection and then fail obviously. Going into the course advanced properties/time options you can only enter a expire number, not a date. Is this what we need to do in order for these older ILT courses to not show up on any catalogs?
Workaround for "failed" assignments?
Wondering if anyone has a workaround for a scenario when a student uploads the wrong assignment. Right now our only option is to fail the student, which doesn’t sit well with our students or their managers. The “failed” designation remains on the student record for the course even after they upload the correct assignment and get a passing grade. I’ve just added an idea “Allow instructors to reject or send back an assignment rather than failing student” if anyone else would like to vote for this. Anyone can make a mistake and should be allowed to correct it before being “failed”!
Search results to include LinkedIn learning courses in their catalog
When I synced LinkedIn learning to Docebo, a catalog was created. I enrolled everyone into the catalog so that they would have visibility. How can search results from this catalog be included in the return information? Does it have something to do with the Global Search? Do I have to turn something on to return results from LinkedIn Learning in the search results?
