I’m returning to the Docebo platform as a power user after a few years away from the platform (yay!!!), but I can’t remember how to assign users to a specific page that has been configured.

Is there any way we can change the “full online” label for VILT courses in the course player? It really confuses learners as they are assuming that session is actually fully booked (despite the Enrol button) - meaning they ignore and don’t sign-upEven saying “fully” instead of “full” would be an improvement.Is this a translation quirk (manual or AI) in localising the interface to English?

I have always been worried about a system that is too chatty.When I came to work for my current org? I found that the one largest learning system instance had a user enrolled notification was essentially set on full blast with all courses triggering notifications (that I eventually helped to shut down). To many it felt horrible, if you enrolled yourself, you got an email. If someone else enrolled you? You got an email. If the course was part of a learning plan?? A person got two or more emails. Working at places 10X the size of where I am currently at makes me know that larger organizations dont stand for it and will even cap system notifications if they seem like they are being spoofed.IMHO - that's not the way to configure things. I truly believe in the mantra that “less is more”. It is more powerful when you deploy targeted notifications to campaigns and onboarding programs. Hi. I’m fairly new to Docebo and am looking for help. Is there a way to assign resources to a profile instead of an individual user. For example, let’s say I have profiles by country and want The US trainers to access different courses that the Mexican trainers, etc. As far as I can tell, If I create a new poweruser ID, I need to assign the resources individually, rather that assign the profile which would include the needed courses. I hope this makes sense! Thanks for your help.

I need to remove or rename the Expiraton Date column. We don’t use validity dates for courses and this is confusing our customers with their certification expiry. I found the course-management-grid_c4 column easily enough and can apply a display:none, but this only hides the heading, which moves all the other headings left. The content column remains intact so all the remaining fields are misaligned. If it’s not possible to hide the column the other option is to rename it to something not resembling expiry, but I haven’t been able to rename the label. Thanks in advance.

In this thread, it was advised that you can create a default branch through the Automation app for all users that sign up.We have users generate via SSO by clicking a button. I would like anyone who clicks the SSO button to be assigned to a branch called “Employees” under the Root branch. How can this happen?I feel like I’m missing something obvious, but I can’t find a “when user is created” rule here! Thank you for help in advance!

Hi all,New to the community, but didn’t see this specifically addressed anywhere I could see.Question:Is there any way to address Learning Plans in automatic group eligibility conditions? I’m only seeing courses, which is a lot of extra work for what we’re trying to accomplish.We’re breaking up some of our learning plans into multiple, shorter learning plans. So instead of one large LP with 30 courses, breaking it up into 3 different learning plans with 10 courses each. We want the enrollment to happen automatically after they complete part 1 to get to the next part, so we’re creating groups to put people into after they complete a learning plan, that we then use in an enrollment rule to assign them to the next LP.In short:Learner completes non-linear learning plan > added to group > enrollment rule uses group to add them to next learning plan.That all works fine, but we have to address each course within a learning plan in the eligibility conditions, rather than just pointing to

So I am running into a weird problem that has ugly software logic written all over it.I am trying to send email to learners enrolled in an ILT and using shortcodes so I can reuse the email as a template. Specifically it is to go out when a recording of an ILT event is available. What I am finding is that while shortcodes are the same platform wide  their application is specific to the where the email is sent from. For example I have a session called Study Hall 2025 that contains an event called Welcome to the new year. In any general  ILT notification when I use “[session_Name] ‘[event_name]’ Recording Now Available” and I get “Study Hall 2025 ‘Welcome to the new year’ Recording now Available But when I send an email at the course level it replaces those with the first name tag so I get “David ‘David’ Recording Now Available”When I send an email from the session it reads “Study Hall 2025 ‘ ’ Recording Now Available” truncating the event name entirely.So while the shortcodes are univers

I found an external training course assigned to a user and I’d like more information about it. I went to the audit log and am not seeing when it was entered. How would I find out when it was entered and by whom? Is it in the audit log? What would the details say for me to find it? It is really hard to search with the 90 day window limiting since it could be anytime after the date it says the user completed it.Thanks.

Does anyone else find it strange that there is no course status of “failed” or “not passed” for a user? I set up an e-Learning shell with three training objects (a file download, an evaluation, and a survey). I set the test as requiring 100% and programmed two fake questions, then ran through the course and purposefully failed the evaluation with my test account. I know how to look at the score and how to go into the Reports tab and see which of the training materials the learner failed but the user remains in the status of In Progress. What I’m looking for is the ability to identify who failed the course, not a single learning object. Reports (screenshot included) show my test user only completed 66% of the course and is In Progress. In reality, the user completed 100% of the course; and they failed the evaluation. Enrollments tab (screenshot included) shows me the user’s score but not what a passing score is so admins would have to research that before we looked at the status this wa

Does Docebo allow organizations/companies that they partner with to schedule time for a live virtual high level overview of the platform for training purposes?I have a group of approximately 15-20 individuals who will be new Power Users within my organization who need to be trained on how to use the platform (creating and managing courses/learning plans, running reports, view a user personal summary, deactivate users, enroll learners into courses/learning plans, how to set up notifications, etc.). They have expressed that they all won’t have time to go through an extensive Docebo University experience or set aside time to watch multiple videos. Was hoping that this is a service that Docebo offers as a part of their payment plans if requested by the organization.I appreciate any help/clarity you can provide!

I saw in a related post that someone shared code a year ago to hide tags appearing in chapters, but I don’t believe that will work with the current course player? Any advice?Thank you!

As the title suggests, I’d love to hear how you’d build this out… We have some technical training that we’re leading through ILT sessions at various offices across the United States. The instructors are SMEs who want to stay at arm’s length from our LMS (which I’m not entirely mad about). We are managing session enrollment using the LMS, but our practice has always been to email PDF copies of slide decks and other references to participants post-session. In a pinch, that process works but people lose emails and our email retention policy is only 365 days from send date. To that end, I thought it would be great to “host” the PDF items within the course as training materials. This way, participants could access from within the completed course shell. To that end, I’ve got a few requirements for hosting the items within the course shell…We don’t want learners accessing the materials until they’ve attended the session.  We want to avoid having the ILT in one course shell and the materials

Does anyone know how to use CSS Coding to: Get rid of the Share & Add to Playlist button on the Virtual Training (ILT), eLearning, Learning Plan page on the new Course player before enrollment? Get rid of the Share button after Enrollment on Virtual Training (ILT), eLearning, Learning Plan page on the new Course player. Remove the Learning Plan ID (I was able to do this for courses but have been unable to apply the same CSS codding concept to remove it from the Learning Plan page). Thank you in advance! Unfortunately, we’re still stuck on it. I’m hoping to get your input once again!Issue 1: We have free self-registration enabled for our learners. Learners are prompted to choose their branch from a dropdown menu. However, selecting a branch isn’t mandatory. If a learner skips this step, they are automatically dropped into the base branch. This creates confusion because learners in the base branch are prompted to provide information that doesn’t pertain to them, and that causes confusion and bad data. Issue 2: To gather clean data, we need to be able to use logic and conditions in the additional fields and not only in the branch field.Issue 3: We would like to collect a URL of the learner’s company, but there is no URL field, only a text field option. Has anyone figured out how to blank out the Direct Manager field for a user via CSV?  I have a subset of users that previously had a Direct Manager assigned on their profile but they no longer need one assigned.  I have tried leaving that field blank on the CSV file, but it did not update the field - it just ignores the blank fields and leaves the Direct Manager in place.

Hello! 👋 We commonly hear feedback from users that they lose sight of when training is due. We implemented the “My Tasks” widget on the main landing page, but the tabs in that widget don’t display expiration dates (even on the deadlines tab). Is there a setting to enable this that I’m overlooking? Assuming that I’m not overlooking something, whats your process for giving users a snapshot of upcoming deadlines from their main landing page? Are you using My Calendar? Some other mechanism? I’m considering creating a “button” that takes them to “My Courses and Learning Plans,” but I don’t love that they’d have to navigate off the main page to see due dates. Arguably, it’s what they care about the most when they log in.  I’m open to inspiration!

We are seeing that the folders we create in the central repository are visible and selectable in the full course catalog to filter classes. We want to use a folder structure in the repository that makes sense to power users but may not have a direct relationship to course sorting. Example- sub folders within topic Folders called Presentations, drawings, evaluations Is there any way to separate these? Or what are the ramifications of turning categories off for catalogs?

In the new Course Player configuration, I cannot seem to figure out how to go to the next course in a learning plan with out having to leave my current course, go to the learning plan, and enter back in to the next course. I think this will confuse my learners and be very frustrating. As a Docebo admin, I even got confused trying to figure out what my next step was. Is there a button or feature I am missing? I would love for a pop-up to appear saying “take me to (next course in learning plan’s name)” Is this possible?

We are looking to manage the percentage of enrollments available in an ILT course (or session) based on region/location and then on cost center.  We currently have our branches set up by cost center.  If we create an ILT course with 1 session that has 100 seats, can we reserve a certain number of seats for particular users to self enroll into?  And once those seats in the session are filled, the user in that particular region & cost center would be added to a waitlist?  i.e  reserve 10 seats for EMEA CPG. 7 seats for APAC finance, and 3 seats for Americas HR etc? If not - looking for ideas on how to manage this without having to enroll users from the admin side.  We want them to self-enroll on a first come first serve basis.
