Outside of making a video, is there a way to require a learner spent a minimum amount of time on a training material?  I know that time spent is reportable, but we would like to proactively encourage learners to slow down on some specific items.

What is the difference between Required and Mandatory for the enrollment rules?

Hi - Wondering if anyone knows how to use CSS to hide the Instructors listed by default on the course summary screen? The attached image shows the Instructors highlighted in yellow. Many of the instructors are not with the company any longer and we would like to just have the list suppressed all together if we can find some CSS to do that. The only other solution I currently found is to unenroll the Instructors, but we don’t want the active instructors to be displayed either.Thanks for any ideas! 

Can someone explain the difference between the:Session Completion AndEvent Attendance options Does one drive the other?

I have quite a few customers who were imported by csv who were given generic emails from their head office. However, a lot of them are not their real email addresses. What I am doing now is going in and editing their email address, then leaving Docebo to send a “Welcome” email with login instructions; aka “User has been created” from Outlook.  The reason for this is because once the user has been created and the notification sent, the button to turn that on and off disappears.  Is there a way to force another  “User has been created” notification instead of sending one manually from Outlook? 

We have just turned on the course rating (the 1-5 star rating per course) but it is not clear from the knowledgebase how this is calculated. I am assuming it’s an average of all ratings, rounded to a whole number?t appears there’s a idea suggestion to give admins more data on how many ratings have contributed to the overall rating seen, so that means there is no way to have this information in reports?

I am wondering if we are able to change the look of My Team? I think it looks really really plain. Is there a way to see details without clicking on the elipses? I find some of my customers are clicking the circle in the top or the blue “View Team” instead of the three dots (elipses?) It would make sense to me that you click anywhere on the person you want to view, and then have the elipses menu incorporated with the Personal Summary Menu. Is there a way to make it nicer to look at and more user friendly? 

Hey all, I’ve been trying to rename the page names in the admin menu via the localization tool but seem to be missing something. Specifically, in the admin menu under E-Learning I want to change the name for Course Catalog to Module Catalog and Learning Plans to Courses. As I mentioned, I am in the localization tool and have been filtering through there but can’t seem to find specific name of the “module” in the locatization tool that will change the name as it appears on this menu. 

We often have RSVP sync problems, and while troubleshooting the issue, I saw that the step in the RSVP sync recipe which gets all the events, only fetches 200 of them. We have a lot more future events than 200. I see that the Workato action to get the items supports BATCH… is the supplied recipe not set up correctly? 

We have shifted usage of Channels in our platform from social learning and sharing, to be more used to access guides and procedural documents from SME’s across the organization. Many of our employees will want to use the Global Search function to find these guides, and right now they would appear under the Assets subheading. I saw a post about changing it in the Localization Tool, but does anyone have any sort of advice on how to change the wording potentially via CSS? Any help would be great! 

Hello all.  I have regular ILTs scheduled for the last Tuesday and the last Thursday of the month, with notifications going out at the intervals of 1 week, 4 days, 1 day & 1 hour.  However, because of Christmas in December, I have scheduled the meetings a week early.My question is:  Can I pause the notifications?  I have set new notifications for the new day and time, but I don’t want them to get the regular notification the next week.  Can I pause or do I need to unenroll everyone from the notification and then re-enroll them in January?Warm regards, Cindy

I am introducing gamification and our users have accumulated points in the old platform we switched from. I know there is a space for Points Balance if I edit a profile, but my question is… is there a way for me to import the points balance via csv or somehow or do I need to edit each user to add their points balance?Thanks. Is there a way to add external training AND have it generate a certificate for that courses, without adding an actual course they have to complete?   For instance, if my instructor is on site facilitating a class in person, can he later upload the list of students and have a certificate generated without them logging in to the course?

Hello Wise Community,We are running a small, internal pilot using My Team before rolling it out to our external partners. We have a few questions that I can’t find answered in any documentation. Course Type: ILTs with training material attached in folders. As a user, where can you see who your manager is? The My Team page is only for manager, correct? If a manager enrolls members of their team into an ILT, how will the team members know about it? How will they know to enroll in a session? Is there a way for a manager to enroll team members into a session instead of a course? Would it be best practice to have the manager email the team through the platform with the session enrollment like? We have a notification and calendar invite for when a user enrolls in a session, but not for a course. (We used to have a notification when users enrolled in ILTs, but users found it to be too much). When the manager added members to her team, most people got the pop-up to accept the team invite, but

Having some trouble getting custom css containers outside of their restricted widget box settings. Hello,Hoping someone can help me with understanding the concepts of the Homepages and Menus. I’m not super technical w Docebo yet, but I have a use case where we would like to display information to our instructors only, and a second use case where we would like specific information on courses and homework et al displayed to members of a Specific Cohort. Would we build separate pages for each, and then ‘assign’ those pages to those user groups via Menus? And where would these pages display? We have currently one menu that displays the following: would these new pages be tabs in this menu? and if so, would only the specific User Groups be able to see them? Thank you! 

Hello, I’m hoping for some help as we have some independent resource material we want our users to access quickly at any time unrelated to courses. We’ve experienced frustration from users saying that having to ‘enrol’ and being ‘in progress’ of a resource is confusing. Is there any way to showcase resources in a more visual format? Almost like an asset library where they can download and view at their leisure. Any help or guidance greatly appreciated!

I’ve been trying to change the background of the Download Certificate button but with no luck. Almost a year ago, in April 2024 I earned my Docebo Pro Learn Admin certification!  🎉I wanted to post to ask those that earned the certification in September 2023 or early 2024 if you had to undergo a renewal process. I do not see anywhere on the certification that it will “expire”, but I do recall reading somewhere (sadly cannot remember where I saw this) that it is valid for 1 year, and that the renewal process was to be revealed as it is developed. Would anyone happen to know more about this? Any information would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Hi. I seem to be stuck on seemingly an easy task of changing the background colour of an html widget from the usual “Docebo grey”. I’m trying to create a really simple title on top of the background colour but having exhausted all options, I can’t seem to get beyond the following:  I’ve attempted three different routes:Applied a “background colour” directly to the widget id in css. Created a style class which has a black background colour. Added a black background colour to the font style class. None of the above approaches seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated for what seems like something so trivial. Thanks in advance. Hi I’m new to Docebo. Our employees are automatically created as a user on Docebo. And when an employee leaves the company, his Docebo account will be automatically de-activated.However, if a user is a PowerUser, then his/ her name will still be listed in the “power user management”  function and counted into each profile. We manually check which PU is no longer having active account on Docebo and remove them from the PU list. How do you manage such situation ?  Any way to automate the process ?   

I am looking for a way to be able to see or receive notification when someone is added to an automatic group I’ve setup. I see that there’s a User Subscribed to Group notification but it seems like that just goes out to the user. I’m wondering if there’s another notification folks have used maybe paired with an enrollment rule that will push this notification?Use Case: We have a group setup for our “active” employees (i.e. not on leave) as well as one for folks on leave. I try to keep tabs so I can adjust due dates or enrollments for folks as needed, and of course automate as much as possible. Thanks for the help!
