Many of our courses do not currently have the course description widget added, meaning that once a user is enrolled, the course description is not visible to them. This is highly problematic, because we have been recording important information about our courses in the course description field, and furthermore we use enrollment rules extensively, which essentially means that nobody can see the descriptions at all.So, we want to add the course description widget to just about all of our courses now. And yet I can’t find a way to do this in bulk. When I query the API for an individual course (either the old learn endpoint or the newer courses endpoint), I get a lot of information for a given course, but almost nothing about the course widgets. I did find GET/learn/v1/courses/[{id}/widgets but unlike some GET requests in the API Browser, attempting to send a PUT request through to the same endpoint doesn’t work (I got a 404 error).So I’m starting to feel pretty sure that this is a (rare)

We have the use case where we offer a VILT course - not through Docebo, I edit and convert the recorded version to an elearning course so that others can take it in the future or those that attended live and re watch it. I want to record the VILT attendance and include it in the new elearning course and I see how to enroll users via CSV that attended the VILT live but to mass mark complete, it doesn’t seem like I can choose the completion date unless I individually go in and mark each person. Is that true or did I miss something? Also, since I am uploading this elearning course 1-2 days after they attended the VILT, is there an issue with me enrolling them 1-2 days after the VILT and then marking them complete 1-2 before they were actually enrolled via CSV upload because they attended the VILT course which already occurred?

I am experimenting with using a deep link on one of my courses that is part of a specific tenant in Docebo Learn.  When I create the enrollment link I get the URL for the Docebo instance, rather than the URL for my tenant. I don’t seem to be able to edit the URL, and when I use it, it brings me back to the login screen (for our instance). The self-registration option has been removed from that login screen because we need all users to be in a tenant branch.Are there any options for me?

Hi everyone, I am new to the community & I posted this in a different category in error. So, if you see this twice, my apologies.  To be considered “certified” our learners must complete two VILT’s, multiple e-Learning modules, and an assessment. They will have additional e-Learning modules in their learning plan that are not attached to the initial certification but must be completed within 60 days. Once all modules have been completed, they will receive a learning plan certificate of completion.  What is the best way to build this out?I tried a true learning plan but had issues with adding two certifications (one to be certified, and the other for completing the learning plan). I tried a course, but I couldn’t figure out how to make both VILT’s a requirement for the certification. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Greetings everyone,Certain users in our system need an annual accreditation certificate. I am looking for guidance on how to provide certificates that display the latest completion date when users complete a course annually. Currently, the certificates only reflect the "original" course completion date.Thanks!Mike

Hi Is there a way to mark large amount of people complete in a E-Learning. Re-lauching a training but a group needs to be mark complete because they do not have to retake that training.

Hi!  I am wondering if there is a way to create a report that will show which learners completed elearnings within a certain timeframe as well as the answers that they chose.  I already have a report that shows completion date within the last 90 days, course result and course score.  I would like to be able to add to this report.

Hi all, I’m getting to grips with the certifications and retraining app and I would appreciate if someone could help with an issue I have… We have a course that users complete to receive an accreditation. They are accredited for 1 year & then need to renew - luckily they do not have to redo the entire course! We have a shorter test that they can complete instead.  To test I have set up a certificate and added two test courses to it (one to act as the original, one to act as the re-certification) and I think that all works as expected. However even though the expiry is set to 1 year the option to RENEW NOW appears...  Is there a way for this option to only appear, for example, a couple of weeks before expiry?  It is not the biggest problem in the world - the user should know they don’t need to renew until the expiry date - but as we charge a fee for re-certifying, I just want to “fool proof” it so nobody can accidently pay before they need to! Thanks for your help;Rob

Hello 👋 I’m hoping someone can help me with the following question. Can a power user create an ILT session or event that needs to be approved by an admin first . We have Departments that may want to host ILTs/ VLTs on a specific date for a branch , but we might not approve it due to other training schedule the same or other event (inventory ). I would like to eliminate the email back and forth and hopefully process all requests in Docebo.  WorkflowPoweruser A - Submits ILT/VLT for approval of training for branch managed by Poweruser B Poweruser B/ Admin - Receive notice , Poweruser B approves based on their business needs . Admin - Final approval and activate for enrollment , pre-work courses etc.  

Hi all, does anyone know if it’s possible to remove the unhide password field from the log in page? I have been looking into knowledge articles but can’t find the answer or the setting in advanced settings. 

A huge drawback (for me) of using APIs is that 95% of the endpoints want some ID that isn’t easily visible. Usually you have go to a different API to retrieve it. There are some endpoints in the API browser, like "Returns list of mappable fields for the data importer" under Manage > Users that just 'dump' info. This is very helpful.This leaves me with two questions1. Somewhat rhetorically - How come Docebo has hamstrung us like this?  Why not have a series of standard endpoints, themselves organized collectively instead of hidden all over the place, that provide the basic ID for all catalogs, all learning plans, all courses, all training materials, all sessions, all events, etc. This api-browser holds so many endpoints, many that I can't imagine ever using...but the simple, low hanging tasks are almost impossible to do.2. So, assuming that I can happen upon a list of IDs that I want to use, how do I keep that information so that I don't need to figure out how to find it again? For e

Can anyone help me to differentiate between “In Review” and “New Only” under the Assets to Review/Approve tab on the My Expert Tasks page please? I tested by approving and rejecting an asset, adding another expert to the Channel, but couldn’t seem to find a difference.

I need my instructors to manage their own classes; however, they are not seeing their current sessions. How can I fix this?

I have read through all the material on using equivalencies and I am struggling to figure out how to assign source and target. Here is my scenarioWe have a learning plan that includes an e-learning class that contains links to register for an ILT course that is not in the learning plan. hat we want to do is create an equivalence so that when the learner completes one of the multiple ILT offerings they are marked as having completed the e-learning class in the learning plan. Looking for the easiest way to have all users to recomplete a mandatory courses on “Privacy Laws and the Workplace”. Its an annual refresh that all our employees are required to take each year. Ideally dont simply want to create another course with effectively the same content as this causes confusion for users knowing which course they are required to complete (despite clear instructions) Is there a way to simply add an additional SCORM course to an existing course and be able to produce reporting based on the version that was completed whilst requiring all users to recompleted the new course to be considered complete? Definitely dont want to muck around with resetting completions as these are required for maintenance of compliance  

Hi all,I am not the main user of our LMS however, I do dabble and have come across an issue that I need to fix.How can I setup an email notificaiton to our instructors to inform them they have been assigned to a training session?

We have connected LinkedIn Learning with Docebo. Unfortunately, there are so many courses that it overwhelms our users when they perform searches. Are there any tips or tricks on how to still have the LinkedIn Learning courses available, but not so overwhelming?

Is there a way to give users a calendar in Docebo (similar to the My Calendar widget/page) that will tell them all the upcoming events for all courses whether they are enrolled or not? We’d like our users to see what courses are available and allow them to enroll in courses if they want to.
