As we have been seeing some true cost creep happening in an accelerated pace across the industry with our everyday tools, I have to report on something that one can almost feel is a slimy practice.Articulate 360 - sent along a quote to me this year specifying what the cost would be if I renew on my contract renewal date. And I noticed there was a $250 cost hike per seat that we would have to eat to take advantage of Articulate AI Teams. To be transparent - I run a small shop with only three licenses open. This will not break the bank, but even with 3 seats, we are talking about a $750 dollar cost which means the cost is halfway to the cost of another “legacy” license. At a time where my team (and I can only imagine many teams) has been asked to conserve, this has shown up...and if I wasnt paying attention? I would not take any action.Reading the fine print - I need to one up the license before a certain date to take advantage of the legacy pricing. Now

When you add a new course to an existing learning plan are learners who are currently enrolled in the learning plan automatically enrolled into the newly added course or do I need to do this manually?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to hear from others about their course naming conventions.What guidelines do you have in place for how courses are named in your platform? We don’t currently have any governance or standards for how we title our courses and I’m looking to set some up, and would love to hear what others are doing.Thanks!

My organization is in the process of onboarding Docebo and we’ve added on the Communities product. Has anyone else implemented Communities into their platform?Our use case will be for all internal employees with both companywide and segmented “Spaces” for job role and office location. The build out process has been very easy, but I think I’ve hit the limits of this product already and I don’t see any upgrades mentioned on the Feature Roadmap.The nomenclature makes Communities a very hard topic to search for here in the Community.So, is anyone using Communities? I’d love to hear how others are getting the most out of this Docebo feature. 

Hiya - I havent posted one of these in a long time because of the changes that have been done to the ideas portal. Not for nothing? This one is at the core of what we do with curation.Archiving courses is essentially a recipe that is done by us to have an effect and impact on the system. This one is in development and my hope is to show that it needs to get through development and into production. I am going to try a direct link to it. Curious if anyone is using FrontEgg as their identity provider and how it’s going and how the set-up was.  We are probably going to use OIDC and interested in any feedback before we get started with this vendor.

Fairly new Docebo admin here.  I’d love to see other people’s landing page for your standard users.  I’ve done some work here and there but I’m more concerned with what is possible.  If you pushed the UI into something you are proud of could you share a screenshot?

So we have been tooled for the last few days in production with the AI Creator. And there are a few concerns, but before we get into it lets start with the positive notes:these are exciting times these tools are set for a trajectory to answer speed to product concerns and if you havent been addressing some speed to product by adopting a few AI assisted generated workflows with content with your IDs? Then it is safe to respectfully say that you are starting to lag in todays market Now that we have covered some of the positive notes, I would love to start a real conversation about these tools and beginning to adopt them.I am on with the creator tools testing them out some during the evening of 7/1. It is a quieter time in the Eastern US. And I just tried building my first AI Presenter video.And it’s output was really? Decent.

While we don’t have a traditional KB platform like Confluence or Zendesk, we’re curious if anyone has used Docebo’s Library, Channels, Pages, or other features to mimic a KB experience—particularly for technical or field training content.Our goal:Benchmark any use cases or companies that have leveraged Docebo to create an accessible, searchable, and intuitive space for users to reference technical documentation, job aids, how-tos, etc.—especially for just-in-time learning.We’re also open to hearing about alternative tools or integrations others have used alongside Docebo to meet this need.Appreciate any insights, lessons learned, or examples you’re willing to share!Thanks so much! 

I swear we could do this - I even advised that we could do this...but in 2025? I cant find anything recently pointing at the capability of mapping a branch to a default language (so when we map individuals - we map them to an appropriate experience 99% of the time).What we have been doing is sending people along to a branch that has a somewhat mixed experience inadvertently. A task widget that was customized in English need to be customized in Spanish is where we need to go with this.Lets say I know where to do the customization. But how do we map people appropriately to the correct preferred language based on the branch (for those slower on the uptake)?

Our safety department would like to keep records of the dates and locations of fire drills on Docebo. Since we don’t have a specific lists of participants for the building fire drills, I’m not sure how best to track this in the system. We could list the fire drills as ILTs and bulk enroll anyone that works in a given building, but that may not accurately represent who was physically there for the drills. We could create the ILTs, but not enroll anyone, but then it makes it seem like no one participated, which isn’t accurate either.I was thinking we might use the “observation checklist” function to track dates/locations of fire drills, but I’m not sure how best to set that up in the system. Any additional advice about how this type of staff training without individual records can be recorded/reported through Docebo would be much appreciated. Thanks!

We have a power user who gets an HTTP error every time they try to upload an MP4 into a course shell. It is not an issue with the MP4 file because other users can upload the same files, and if we log in as the power user, we are able to upload MP4 as well, so we know it is not anything to do with their profile.  Also, they are able to upload SCORM and AICC with no issues.So we are wondering if it has to do with something on the user’s computer?  Has anyone else run into this, and has any idea on what might be the cause?Any help will be appreciated!Here is the error:

I'm evaluating a learning operations suite called Cognota.comI was wondering if anyone else ad looked at Cognota. It has some I terestibg features like project management, ROI reports, request tracking and L&D planning. I could tack these items manually, but Cognota appears to have these items ready to go. 

Greetings!Has anyone figured out a way to build an ad-hoc “Trending in Your Network” channel/course catalog that shows the courses, learning plans that are most viewed? I assume this can be done by manually researching what are the most viewed courses, but it’s 2025 and I was hoping not having to do that.Thanks!~B

Hi, I just opened ticket #1107630 with Docebo regarding users showing 100% in the courses in a learning plan but the LP is showing in-progress.Other users have completed the LP in the last few days. The example user completed the LP on 7/22.Docebo said it was a known issue and the fix is supposed to be deployed on 8/11/2025

Be aware of changes to the Observer Checklist listings after the July update.Prior to the July 2025 update our Observation Checklists referenced the user’s first and last name in the listing for manager or observer’s checklist. Now it references the observed persons username.We use employee number for username, resulting in a significant impact.For example: | John Smith | Peer observation of George Jetson | Completed 01/28/2024Now shows: | User 339956 observed by George Jetson | completed on 07/22/2025 

We noticed an issue after we transfer an automatic group to a PU. When a new user is added to the LMS where they would normally be automatically added to a group, this process stalls behind a rule that says the PU must login before the user is placed in the group; and this could take up to 1.5 hours after the PU has logged in. I asked support if this is just a one-time thing or every time a new user is added; I have no reply to that question yet but from what we observed it happens every time. I was hoping to challenge this with the product team as it makes no sense to me that a PU must log in in order for a user to be placed in the proper group(s). Tired to explain that a PU may be away on vacation or leave and if we don’t deliberately fix this, the user remains in limbo until the PU logs in. Seems like very poor logic that will and already caused many issues. They say it works as expected. Has anyone noticed this behaviour? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks everyone
