This is possibly a really daft question which I’m hoping someone knows the answer to. I’m looking to add up the time spent in some of the courses last month. When I export the report the times show up like this ‘0h 20m’ or ‘2s’ they are stored as text in the excel file and as such I can’t add them up. I’ve tried a few Excel codes but because it doesn’t always show h:m:s they haven’t worked. Also I want this to be fast not having to find and remove all the s, m or h’s when I split the cells. Someone must be using something to find out how long users have been on courses. I can’t imagine I’m the only one. I might be making this a lot harder than it actually is. 

I am working with a counterpart who needs to change the expiration date of many users to the system.  Current he can go into each use and change the expiration date but wanted to know if there is a way to sort and do a mass change or do batch changes to this expiration for many users?

I was wondering how everybody handles changes to courses that have already been published and completed by a certain number of learners. Our courses are composed of the following three elements:Videos Tests End of course surveySo far, we have avoided retroactively adding or updating videos because it can lead to a situation where learners have completed a course without actually viewing all the videos. However, I’m sure there are going to be times when we need to do this in the future. Does anyone have any good suggestions about how to make changes to a course while maintaining the integrity of the course? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Daniel

HiWe run a continuing professional development program for accountants and laywers. Some users access the content by making ad-hoc purchases of vILTs and/or e-Learnings but the majority have subscription access which allows them to self-enrol without making payment.We run about 170 new topics each year and have approx 450 e-Learnings in the library and we’ve received several requests from customers for us to indicate what ‘level’ the content is pitched at so that users can determine whether it is suitable for them.In particular, where we have customers with power users they want to be able to identify content for their ‘junior’ accountants, managers etc so they know what they should recommend.We can add a course additional field for ‘Level’ and include ‘Foundation’, ‘Intermediate’ or ‘Advanced’ but as far as I understand these would be mutually exclusive categories. Some content is suitable for ‘Foundation’ AND ‘Intermediate’ and this approach wouldn’t al

We implemented Docebo for our Sales, Marketing and L&D last year. Now we are looking to implement for ISO/ GMP compliant training.Does anyone have an easy way to enable sign-off of SOPs (i.e., Read & Understand” training) using Docebo? I’m looking to track Part 11 compliant sign-off on individual SOPs, ideally without creating each one as a course. AICC wrappers? Other ideas?

Can I make the target of a notification both Users and Power Users?

Hi everyone. I have only been using Docebo for a few months now and we are trying to work around some nuances Docebo has such as making sure all our users are enabling cookies. Even with that we are having a hard time pinpointing why people are taking courses but then not showing complete. they will get to the end take a screenshot or picture and send it to us showing us its complete but then logging back into Docebo it still shows as in progress and usually only half way through the course. Any help or pointers on if our users are doing something wrong to cause this to happen?

Does anybody know how to change the illustrations that are featured throughout the platform?  For instance this one that shows up if a course widget is empty (e.g. if a learner has finished all their courses and is not currently enrolled in anything new).  It would be a nice design customization if we could make this image something from our corporate culture, instead of being a random image that doesn’t fit our design language.  I know how to change the accompanying text using the localization tool, but don’t know how to change the image itself.  

I know I can show up to 9 fields and reorder the fields in the course management function but are you able to resize the field itself.  I am currently wanting to see my complete course code but it is cutoff and I can not seem to resize the field.  While other other fields take up more area than needed.

As much as I’ve been trying to push away from  using Flash, we have a compliance vendor who had not converted files for flash out of a course. Is it possible to add .swf as a trusted file in Docebo?Unfortunately pushing back removing .swf from the course has not been working and one of my groups that needs this is asking this next Plan B to allow the course loaded. Thanks for your help! 

Hello,Is it possible to remove this message that appears at the top of ILTs?  We only have one event scheduled for each ILT so this message is not necessary.  I am aware that I can change the phrasing in the Localization Tool but I would like to remove the notification completely. As always any advice or tips are appreciated!

Our Docebo instance is set up for self-registration.  When a user registers, they are sent a registration link to validate from the localization tool.  Once this is done, they can log in and start learning.  This exact  functionality broke last week for most of the week and then suddenly started working (IDK why) only to break again today. Is anyone else VERY frustrated with the automated emails from the localization tool not firing?  It breaks the ability of anyone to ‘self-register’ and it ‘breaks’ the ability for anyone to do a ‘password’ reset. The worst part is I always feel I am made to jump through hoops and told it’s a ‘customer setting’ - when later it’s shown not to be a customer setting. I’m so frustrated because I wasted half the week last week only to have the exact same problem come up again today. 

Ya know? I think folks will get this - but here is a quick 101 to avoid loading many people by hand into Course/LP enrollments. A quickie methodology to do a bulk load into an LP with a static group. I usually lean on my SMEs to let me know who the targeted audience is. Once they have passed along a listing of who their folks are? I check it for duplicates and then who is active/inactive in the system….if all looks good? I proceed to do the followingCreate a custom user field Generate a user upload CSV file to do a user upload with that custom user field (I have a field called static groups...not to imaginable) Add a flag in that column for the CSV file for all of your peeps that should be getting bulk loaded TIP two fields can do it all for you if your users already exist? And you are just looking to flag them Bulk load your users from the Users interface Go into Groups and create a new one set it to automat

We are starting a pilot program that involves having our users take a pre-assessment at the start of a week long training. They then take the same assessment at the end to gauge how much they have learned. Has anyone found a good way to use assessments to do this? We want to be able to easily compare the first assessment with the second one. I appreciate any insight anyone can provide!

I am curious how organizations use Docebo to offer videos as a subscription. I have a product line that used to be sold as DVDs. They have a content purpose, but not as elearning. I would like to sale these videos as content for streaming within Docebo. I know I can package it as a course, but I am really curious if anyone does subscription services or something else along this line.  

Hey everyone! During the Inspire Conference once of the demo pages showed a display I really loved. I’m interested in recreating it but I have NO clue how! Does anyone have any idea what widget or how the Quick Links section of this page was created? Hi has anyone else had a problem with Scorm files updating for users. When we replace a Scorm file with a newer edition ie due to a typo or something minor, we want to replace the file. Currently the old file is still showing for anyone who has previously completed the course. Rather than the new file. The only way we’ve found to show the new file is to delete the old one and add a new file, which loses all the completion data. Any ideas, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,I need to create monthly reports to track how many hours my learners spend taking courses. I have 2 issues. One: I can’t select specific dates when downloading the report. Two: the tracking time is completely off and way higher than what the learners are actually spending taking classes.Does anybody have any best practices for this?Thanks!

Who said gamification needs to be directly associated to a single course, Learning Plan or topic? This is a slightly different way to reward learners for engaging over time... I use a tool call Grammarly, each week I get a round up of my “performance”, most of the time I scan though it and don't pay too much attention to the trivial data I’m presented with, like words checked over time, common mistakes and a running count of how many weeks I’ve used the tool for. Today I was presented with this:  It made me think outside of the box on how we can reward users for taking part in learning, it was interesting, unexpected and genuinely put a smile on my face! Do you have an “out of the box” way of rewarding users for taking part in training? I’d love to hear it if so!

I am new to Docebo and have a question … I’m sure this is a super quick and easy fix.We offer our clients a ton of downloadable resources for them to use in their businesses.  I want to create a “Quick Resources” link on the homepage so clients can access downloadable files in one place vs having to search for the course and go to the linked File Repository.What is the best way to do this?The “less clean” way seems to be to create a LP with multiple courses, but the courses only contain the downloads.  Thanks for your input!

We have installed a front page using WordPress to help sell our courses.We’d like to link to the Register button, but obviously this is a bit of difficulty as the registration form is lightbox like display.I know that we can use the WordPress plug to create users and push them Docebo, but at the moment we’re not prepared to do this. Any ideas on how we can link to the form and bypass it being embedded on the Frontpage.

Hi All! As a new Docebo client in our implementation phase I’m finding the Central Repository frustrating from a CMS perspective. I want to be able to create folders to organize cross-departmental content but there isn’t any concept of categorical folders, only *course* categories. For example, I have a desire to upload our quarterly newsletters on the site to be available to push to channels or courses, but I don’t want to create a course category for newsletters. Your options seem to be to 1) create a ton of extraneous course categories you never add courses to or 2) drop all your content that crosses categories into the root completely unsorted. For those of you who have a large volume of content, how do you stay organized? Is there something I’m missing? 

Hello!I’m new to Docebo, but already have a question for the community. I’d love to know how any of you have used Docebo to support resource/affinity groups in your companies, besides the obvious posting of content. We just signed with Docebo and haven’t even onboarded yet, but my DE&I group would love to know if they can use Docebo for their resource groups, or if they need to buy another platform.I know about channels and content. I’m curious to know if we can have folks opt-in to resource groups, give them a general discussion board, create pages for them, etc.If you have any examples of using Docebo to support resource groups in your company, I’d love to hear about it.
