How are you managing course versions/versioning in Docebo?  Share your best practices and lessons learned here.

Is there a substantial difference between the 2 SCORM file types other than character limits? We have a course we created internally that has a video within it that is now causing problems. I tried the debugging but it did not help, and now I have both SCORM file types but unsure if the troubleshooting should be different or what else I can do. Pros and cons of each? This course is a bit complicated with branching, knowledge precheck test out options, and several videos, each of which is followed by test questions. Trying to determine why one video at the end is giving some users trouble (not playing and therefore not completing the course) but not others, and it does not seem to be linked to VPN, browser, cookies, or anything else we have tested.

The title to my task widget is currently a gray color and I would like to change it to black to match my other widget titles. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?

Hi there! We have a ton online + in person courses that are part of a series, we do not house the registration in Docebo as of yet (due to limitations) but I am looking for inspiration on creating a schedule page of sorts (similar to this DU page) but we have a lot more than what’s featured on here. Specifically, we have about 22 sessions for a particular series. Usually we list them out, but I’m looking for something a little more engaging: 

Crossposting here and the Champion group.I have been struggling to find a good solution in Docebo for a program we run. We do a biweekly online continuing education series. Students are required to attend or view recorded archives of at least 4 of the 24 events we offer. This year I created an individual ILT for each webinar with a single session and a single event. Then put them all into a learning plan. We discovered a few issues. Enrolling in an ILT ( even through a learning plan) does not enroll the learner in the session. Learners had to still go into the individual  ILT’s to enroll in the sessions before they could attend or get notifications for the sessions.  Once the event had ended, the sessions closed to enrollment. Anyone trying to watch the recording who had not already enrolled in the session could not enroll in the session. We have had to regularly go in and manually enroll people who were already enrolled in the ILT thanks to the learning plan into a session so they c

Hi All, I’m a bit stumped so hoping someone might be able to give me an idea where to look. We have multiple pages that use essentially identical HTML and CSS to do a drop down menu bar. On some of these pages the menu bar appears above widgets further down on the page (such as the My Courses and Learning Plans Widget) on other pages it appears behind and is un-usable. I’ll attach two screen shots of the same HTML and My Courses and Learning Plan widgets displaying both of these things.Any idea why that might be happening and any way people can think to ensure it appears above further down widgets? (note I have tried to change it from Card to List and it still goes behind one the one page)Thanks in advance if anyone can point me in the right direction!

I’m looking for some ideas on how to best share information with managers.  In general we find the My Team page not very helpful since you have to click into each employee to view their courses (unless they’re overdue).I’d love to hear or see how you’re sharing information out other than just leaving it up to self-service.

Hi community members,We have a user that has the following issue:“I am testing on the sandbox again to check on any updates to the Notifications feature.In Production, my Notifications for PAID courses have the following:User enrolled in course User enrolled in ILT session User completed courseThe first notification goes out when a user does the check out and goes into the Waiting list to be "Marked as Paid" on transactions. It notifies the user that they need to receive an invoice from us and pay before their registration can be confirmed.  The second notification gets sent out after the user has been "Marked as Paid" in Transactions to acknowledge their payment and notify their enrolment into the course and session.  On the sandbox, this is no longer the case for me as User gets both notifications 1. and 2. simultaneously after marking them as paid.  I have also tried testing out 2 notification types on the sandbox that I hoped would give me the result I wanted but sadly with no succ

Hello, has anyone had any success on integrating the salesforce live chat widget into their LMS? we used to have zendesk but it appears that: “Zendesk remains the only officially supported live chat widget that can be embedded in the UI. For Salesforce, consider linking to an external chat portal or support site from within your platform.” Any tips and tricks is highly appreciated!

Hi everyone,I’m currently working with a Power User on revising a course that is included in multiple learning plans, and we’ve encountered a workflow challenge.The goal is to ensure that only users actively enrolled in a specific learning plans are required to retake the revised version of the course—not everyone who previously completed the earlier version.While it’s possible to manually review the enrollment list in the learning plans, and archive and re-enroll only those users, this process can be quite time-consuming for Power Users.Has anyone discovered an efficient workaround for this? Or is there a configuration or feature that might help streamline the process that I may have missed?I’d greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions—thank you!

Hi all, we have a numbe of VILT courses available in our course catalogues, but are very frustrated because the Enroll Now button only enrolls the learner in the course, not the session! We frequently record the trainings and post them back on the course, but users who happen to come along afterwards and attempt to enroll to watch the recording are met with an (incorrect) error message about ‘no session exists’. Can anyone suggest a way around this issue please? Cheers!

Docebo's export gave me one comprehensive Excel file with all users combined. Of course, there is always the option to view and download a certificate manually per user or by clicking on "User Personal Summary" - but doing this 150 times manually wasn't practical for the client's timeline and budget.The Challenge: Manual separation would take days, and custom development was out of budget.My Solution Using Existing Tools:Step 1: Leverage Excel's Pivot Table Feature 🔄Started with standard Docebo user activity export Created Pivot Table with users as filter Used "Show Report Filter Pages" to automatically generate 150 separate worksheets Formatted all worksheets simultaneously by selecting "All Sheets" and setting consistent print layout: landscape orientation, centered, fit to one p

So I have seen many mention that they could not duplicate ILT courses but could duplicate e-learning courses. And I have experienced the same thing. However, if you use the API Explorer you can actually duplicate any type of course...including ILT. It does not duplicate sessions or anything like that, but just the shell. So through the API we can duplicate any type of course and you can actually select if you want the training material duplicated as well. It is not the cleanest solution, but until Docebo let’s us do it through the UI it can save a lot of time.Keep it a secret though...if Docebo hears about it they may retire that API end point and screw us all ;)

We are running into issues with duplicate accounts popping up in our Docebo, due to name changes and account modifications. I’m fairly new here, still. It seems like the solution we’re going with is to merge accounts and then deactivate the old one, leaving the new one active. But we are siloed and have Super Admins in other places. Is there a way for me to find records of merged accounts. I tried using the audit trail and am able to search things like modifications. But the resulting file is gigantic. Is there another way? 

We use an additional user field that captures whether a user "manages others" using a Y/N dropdown. This field is updated nightly via SFTP reporting.We’re looking for a way to identify users whose status changed from 'No' to 'Yes'—specifically, users who did not manage others yesterday but do today.Is there a recommended method or built-in functionality to help us track this kind of change between nightly updates?Fingers crossed - Thank you in advance!

Hi All.For  auditing purposes,  I need to include the course description and the learner's signature on the course completion certificate. I noticed that DOCEBO has an interface with Docusign.( https://tray.ai/connectors/docusign-docebo-integrations)Have any of you implemented this integration?Is it possible to insert the Learner signature in the course completion certificate? As for the course description, the ideal would be for the certificate to be printed on both sides. On the front, the certificate itself, and on the back, the course description. We haven't found a solution.Any tips? Regards,

Dear community, Does anyone know the “Docebo Content Classic” (or Marketplace) content library (see screenshot attached) and has or is working with it? If yes, how do you or your learners like the search - or rather filtering - functions and/or the structure, where the content can be found? We are using and publishing content in 3 languages (GER, FRA, ITA) and whenever I filter for only German content in their library, the search result show me first countless English contents before any German content.  Our learners have “completion of 30hrs e-learning content, p.a.” as annual objective and they are told, to find content themselfes, according to their personal objectives. Thus, if they loose too much time searching for useful content, they will take to the barricades.We took up this issue with docebo and their reply was - and here I quote “Support has informed me that, at this stage, the search behavior in the Marketplace is not considered a malfunction but rather the system's intende

Good afternoon everyone.   I wanted to make everyone aware of a big big bug in the system.   We found from a customer that is a power user that also is an instructor on an eCourse or ILT/Webinar that they can added, delete, modify any training material to and in the course.   Thus someone who should not have any rights to build out a course now has the power to change the course or virtually remove all of the training material in the course.  As a note, this “Feature” ie BUG is not documented anywhere.  We need to raise this up to Docebo management as this is a major violation of  permissions.  We need to have people reach out to support to help drive a fix on this as this is a dangerous situation and needs to be fixed immediately. Please reach out to me if you have any questions Eric VanAuken

After a previous post by my teammate, we determined that the best way to hide inactive course shells (that either were solely for historical elearning purposes with no content or VILT courses with no active sessions) was to mark them as Under Maintenance and add them to a course catalog only visible to superadmins. Is there a better way to do this than editing each individually to Under Maintenance? I do see that there is a (closed) suggestion that has since been closed but it doesn’t address the status of courses so if there was something I missed in a help article let me know!

Hello there, we are just starting our yearly update of all our courses and also switching to the newer SCORM version from the older one our courses were created in and thought this would be a good time to fix something in the design of the course player that we have disliked since the beginning. Currently the title of the lesson being viewed is shown at the top of the screen in white font on a dark gray background.  We would like to change this to a colour that matches our branding. We have been able to change the background and accent colours (after the attached screenshot was taken) but the banner at the top with the course title remains in the dark grey. I have searched this forum and Docebo University and cannot find anything that addresses this specifically, but maybe I am using the wrong search terms. Does anyone know of a way to change this?I notice that Docebo itself has this gray title banner on its Docebo U courses so it seems to be the default. We can’t be the only one who d

Four failed attempts!I have a CSV file with the data on almost 300 people. The date is in the correct format YYYY-MM-DD; the yes/no columns are all correct and filled in. Everything looks fine with me.When I go to upload I get an error message: Then I pull the error report and there are 300 rows of this: What am I doing incorrectly?

Hello, team,I’m wondering if anyone has ever allowed the end-user to self-select their Landing Page. I’m thinking that with a course and quiz responses, we could get them auto-sorted to groups based on their responses in a course. The idea is to allow them to select a “Role” type for them and then their landing page is custom to that type of Role of user.Any pro/cons/experiences before I dig in?

We are wanting to leverage the badges and I’m wondering how others enable learners to share their badges. I see there’s a way to allow them to share on social media or copy a link. But what about if they want to add the badge to their signature? I haven’t found a way to download something like that.Has anyone else? Or does anyone have suggestions on how you manage this?Thanks,Ariel
