Is there any way to create a one-time use access link or a similar login link for certain users?TLDR: I want employees to use SSO exclusively, but we also use the platform for contractors who have to have manual login. Is there a way to force SSO (I know I can turn off the manual login option) while still allowing external parties to access the courses they need?We use the platform for internal employees and external contractors. The contractors have a restricted view but we have to maintain the records of the courses they take for safety reasons. I am curious if it is possible, rather than setting them up with a username and pw, if there is a way to send them a special sign-in link (oauth maybe? webhook?) that they can access what they need from, but then they don’t have to log in at all.The real reason I am looking to do this is because I want to deactivate the manual login option and only use SSO for our employees, we’ve recently discovered c

Hello all!Maybe anyone faced with such behavior in mobile app: users add the absolute link on course or learning plan on banner or button and this link doesn't works on IOS devices in Mobile app?At the same time on Android devices this issue not happened and system open the link inside the app. I’ll explain why we don’t use deep linking here: in the constructor we can insert content for the desktop version, and this content will automatically become available for the mobile application. But there is no way to change the link in mobile content.We also have several separate domains for our company, in which case in the link to the desktop content we use the domain we want and not the generic docebo domain, because otherwise our link will not work correctly and in desktop version.I know we can use a relative link in which case the link will work correctly in the application, but we have a third party service that we have added to the docebo page

We would like to launch using channels but at this time we do not want to allow everyone the ability to upload content or ask questions on the platform.  We would like to remove the two icons that show at the top right for sharing content and asking the expert from the All Channels page and the actual channels when they are opened up.  Does anyone know how to do this? Because they are built in there isn’t an option to turn them off like you can when you build your own page.  I could build my own page though it would mean a lot of manual work and then when people click on the channel they would still end up seeing these two icons.  We could launch with them there as I know we can restrict who shared content but the challenge is that it is still there, the user can still click on it and go through the motions of uploading but then they get to the end and there is no channel to add it to.  So if I can restrict it why can I not just remove this as an option to avoid confus

HI everybody,I’m new to the Docebo platform so maybe I’m missing something here. For what I saw, even if you set an ILT course so that only admins can enroll users into it, enrolled users can still self-enroll freely into course sessions. So my question is: is there a way to prevent students, already enrolled in an ILT course, from self-enrolling into sessions of said course? So that only their manager/power user or superadmin can enroll them into course sessions?

Need help brainstorming how to set up a notification to Power Users whenever a new person has been added to their assigned Group. I’ve tried to do it via the User subscribed to a group template but that hasn’t sent my PU anything.The ask: We want to set up an automatic group where if someone new gets added to the group, it would trigger a notification to the Power User in charge of that group to review the new add and either keep/delete the person from the group.Would really appreciate anybody’s help with this. Thank you in advance! 

Are there options other than multiple checklists for when you need multiple approvers?  We have a situation where an employee needs to check off that they’ve finished a task, and then for a supervisor to check it.  It seems like the only real option is separate, identical checklists.  Is there a better option I’m not considering?

How do you send reminders to users to complete compliance training? Is there a system setting that can send reminders at set intervals to incompletes?

Hello!  How are you all managing “notes” in your platform? The main need (though I can see this being useful on a lot of different actions in the platform), is when we unenroll the learner. We can go to the Audit trail and see that Courtney unenrolled user XXXX on March 21, 2025 at 9:41am, but we have no idea why. For Compliance and regulatory audits, our compliance team is asking why people are not enrolled in a Compliance learning plan and all I can tell them is that someone unenrolled them and the date and time but there's no reason. It would be amazing if we were prompted to provide a reason for unenrollment during the process or had somewhere to make a note that would show up on the Audit trail for auditing purposes. Has anyone ran into this issue and how are you handling it? Thank you!Courtney

My organization has an initiative for 2021 to drive training - both inside of Docebo and out - by making training hours a part of everyone’s quarterly bonus objectives.However, the more we use Docebo, the more we are finding that the nuances of time tracking vary widely depending on the type of training (Courses, Classrooms, External, etc.) as well as the type of course material (video, SCORM module, etc.).For example, we had a learner recently take a course with a 5 minute SCORM module and leave their tab open (we assume).  They ended up getting almost 260 hours of Total Time for this.I have proposed that we use the course Average Time or even Credits (CEUs) to report on time tracking for the bonus metric but it has not been a popular idea amongst our Super Admins.Has anyone dealt with this in Docebo and, if so, how has your organization decided to handle training time that’s real vs. a nuance of a tab or module?Thank you in advance for any ideas!

Hello All, Is anyone aware of a way or method to extract the Filtering and Fields used in a Custom Report, either within reports/new reports or via an API call? We have a large number of customized reports, many of which are versions of other reports customized for specific users. i.e. standard report 1 is customized by user A with specific Filtering and adding specific additional fields but is also customized by user B with different specific Filtering and adding different specific additional fields. Something similar to how PowerBI notes the filtering that has been applied when you "Export" a table.  Currently the only way that I can see to extract the information would be to review each customized report one by one and record the filtering and additional fields that have been applied.  Let me know your thoughts….

Ciao All,I wanted to bring attention to a discrepancy I’ve noticed between two widgets:Catalog Widget: This widget currently does not include a filter to exclude courses that are part of a Learning Plan. My Courses and Learning Plan Widget: While this widget does include the option to hide courses within a Learning Plan, it does not allow you to select specific catalogs.Because of this limitation, it’s challenging to display only certain catalogs without also showing courses that are already included in a Learning Plan (or vice versa). I’m wondering if anyone has found a workaround.If this is something the product team could consider for future enhancements, it would really help streamline catalog and course visibility across learning platforms. In the meantime, any tips or suggestions from the community are greatly appreciated!Thank you!

Hello, I would like to add some beneficial notifications such as a notification to alert users when a course due date is coming up. Also what are some ideas for best ways for admin to get notified that a course is outdated or got a low rating? 

Does anyone have experience using CSS to embed a video on the course landing pages (before login)? I’d like to add videos to the course landing pages that showcase the course’s purpose to the public to encourage learners to enroll in a course.

Hello, I set up a survey at the end of each course and one of the questions on the survey is asking if they experienced any technical difficulties while using this course. Is there a way to set up a notification that alerts admin that a user clicked “yes” and what difficulty they experienced? Or if there is any other way to alert admin when a course survey has been completed and the results.

Hello! How do you name sessions and events for courses that runs multiple times a year? I am thinking of naming my sessions ‘2025 Batch 1’, ‘2025 Batch 2’, and so on. Then for events, thinking of naming it ‘2025 Batch 1 March 03’. Is this a good practice? I was wondering if it was possible to create a link that goes to a specific widget on a page? For example if you are at the top of the page you could click a button and it would take you to the correct section on the page. We have html blocks so in theory I could make a button I’m just not sure how to get the link or if it’s even possible.

We have learners who are new hires and existing employees that need to be re-trained.  We want to slot learners into a schedule, but we don’t deliver anything live.  In other words, I would like to be able to see that I have 2 new hires starting in March, another 3 in April, etc. We would also want to know which day the employee is taking their test so we can make sure we have someone available to help them.  I considered just adding a “Training Start Date” and “Exam Date” as an Additional Field, but I wasn’t sure if this is the best way to track it.  Is there any kind of calendar functionality? 

Hi everyone, Currently my organization uses the ILT event starting notification set to trigger “2 hours AFTER the event starts” to send out our training evaluation which is a Microsoft form. The issue we are having is for cohort style classes with multiple events in one session, a notification goes out for each event which tends to be too redundant. It appears that the ILT session starting notification is also triggered by “event” so I was wondering what is the difference between the two?Can anyone else think of a solution to what I am trying to solve here? I’d like to see one notification going out at the last event of a session.
