I’m working to understand how we can leverage the Skills feature in my organization.  I see that I can create skill sets, and add skills to the skill sets.I see also that I can create an AI based channel that will auto-fill according to the skills associated with courses or external content (via the internet). Two things that I am having trouble with - There is a Platform Catalog, and then I see a catalog with my company name. But I cannot seem to add anything to the catalog with my company name.  When the learner logs in and is asked to build their skills profile the first thing they are presented with is a list of jobs to choose from. Where can I find the jobs list, and can I edit that? If I’m going to use this in conjunction with our career planning programs, it would be helpful to be able to put our own job titles in for an optimum user experience.

I was trying to randomize a certain number of questions in a test. For example, If I have 4 questions, I would like to randomize the first 3 questions and always have the 4th question at the end of the test. I chatted with one of your Support Specialist, and he said that Docebo does not currently support this. I believe this feature would be a great addition to the Testing options.

I have a course that includes an observational checklist which needs to be renewed every three months. I’ve set up the retraining requirement in the certification section, but since learners can’t independently renew this type of training, I’m wondering if there’s a way to trigger a notification to power users when a learner is due for renewal. That way, they can proactively schedule time with the learner to complete the in-person evaluation.

Happy Friday all.I just noticed there’s a column for Codes on the Central Repository page, but I cannot figure out where to actually change this. This would be pretty useful for my organization, since lots of people will just create content called ‘Test’ or something like that. If we used codes, it would be easier to identify where the content belongs.Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks!

Hello!My company has this year looked into monitoring how much time, each month, is being spent by users in our platform. Identifying just who has logged on isn’t much of an issue, but we need to figure out how much time, total, our users are spending interacting with training materials in order to provide better optics on the ROI over our old training site. What we have done thus far is not providing accurate results, however, and I am hoping one of you kind folks might have a better idea of where and how we can get this information! What we are doing now:Currently we are utilizing the Users - Courses report to pull data, with the following filter:• Enrollment Date [After / Absolute]- 11/3/2023• Usage Statistics - Training Material Time (sec)While this will reflect accurately all users who were enrolled after this date it will not reflect users who have passed the course or even briefly touched the training materials this month but were enrolled into it 4 months ago.  Attempted Soluti

When looking at the course cards at the course catalog, I’d like to add a border around the image/thumbnail on the course cards. Another important aspect, is that the colour of the border depends on of it is an ILT class or e-learning. Lets say the border around E-learning cards are red and the ILT ones blue. I’m looking to use badges and points in Docebo for things that are not really trackable, and you can earn the badge with a single click.For example, you have a professional development conversation, and you earn 10 points. This is something outside of the system and fully self-reported, so my ideal situation is you do one click inside Docebo and get the badge.Is there any way to do something like that?

Hi,we are using the channel widget on our Dashboard and we would like to hide the completed courses from the widget, so that they only see courses that they have started or need to start..I tried to do this with CSS but then I have an empty spot on the list I used the following CSS Code:#doc-page-97 .ui-card-status-done {display: none !important;}We do not use the “Courses and Learning plan” widget, because we have multiple content categories and the “Courses and Learning plan” widget shows all assigned courses (so can’t be divided into categories).Does anybody have an idea how we can hide completed courses from the channel widget?

Following some system update earlier this month, we’ve found that scheduled reports delivered to Power Users via email do not contain all the data for users they manage. This occurs if a Super Admin assigns users to a branch that a Power User manages and the Power User hasn’t logged into the system since the users were assigned to the branch.Docebo support say this is now expected behavior, and Power Users must log in in order for any changes to be reflected in their scheduled reports. They aren’t clear which update caused this change in functionality.This causes big problems for us as many of our Power Users rarely log in the system but rely on scheduled reports to oversee training progress. We’ve been using Docebo for about 4 years in this way.Is anybody else running into this problem?

That title word is “External”, so much for typing this on a phone! We are a mall training team utilizing Docebo as an online alternative to classroom training offerings globally. Things are going well and we have grown. We are Parthenon where some of our customers are 100 - 200 students strong. My question is has anyone setup an external power user, in my case a supervisor of one of our customers, to manage training: review progress reports,export progress data etc? They would not be able to assign training courses as that is done at the point of sale. However my real concern is security and some apprehension about this setup to avoid loss of trust and to ensure the supervisor can only access the courses annd students assigned to his/her team.  Again, maybe overthinking it but it’s a big change from our internal management of the system that is really working out well for us. Any input appreciated.  

I have power users that I would like to create a widget that shows only on their homepage that links via url to the exact report they need to run without them having to go in to do all the fiddly stuff.  Is this feasible? 

Anyone else running into an issue where courses are appearing as locked from the Course Catalog page, but anywhere else in the platform, the courses appear as available?View from Course Catalog Page:Same courses from within the actual Catalog view:Any one else experience this?  We have opened a ticket about this previously, but it had been resolved.  Wondering if it is something we are doing to our courses?

Hello,I am testing notifications to trigger 1 hour after the deadline under the “Learn has yet to complete the course” I set a 1 day validity since enrollment and a soft deadline. I have waited a 1 day and 2 hours and the notification has yet to trigger. I have read that editing notifications might reset the timers or that notifications can be delayed due to job batches but no clear answer.  

Hi everyone,we are currently still in the process of implementing Docebo, and I have a bit of a mental knot when it comes to enrollments.I understand that there are two ways to handle enrollments: directly within the course and via enrollment rules. What works the same with both methods is that users who are newly added to a group are automatically enrolled in the course.The key difference, as I understand it, is that only direct course enrollments also enroll all current members of a group. From my perspective, the only advantage of enrollment rules is the overview they provide of which groups are enrolled in which courses. This overview is missing when enrolling groups directly in the course itself.What I’m missing is a clear understanding of which use case calls for which method.And how should I proceed if I accidentally enrolled the wrong group in a course?

Hello all!Did a recent update remove Learning Plans from Global Seach results?I see the welcome update of being able to exclude specific items types from Global Serach results, in particular Assets and Training Material.  However, I cannot get Learning Plans to be searchable.  I have not excluded anything with the new settings.  My users can’t find Learning Plans.  I’m a super admin and can’t either and I’m using the exact names and key words.Learning plans do return as search results from catalog and other course pages.Was this an expected update and I missed it?

While playing around in our sandbox today, I found this new option  when enrolling users:tried a few different settings and it seems to apply this to the courses...just not sure what the difference is between Mandatory and Required. Looked in KB but nothing is mentioned and this was not in the release notes.Ned to understand the different combinations and what they mean for users...for example, below you can see a course with a setting of “recommended” WITH and expire date...how does this work for users? Does it mean that they should completed before that date? How is this reflected in reports? Are notifications tied to these statuses?So many questions...@erin.brisson do you have any additional information on this? Thx 

Hi everyone,I’m new to the system and need some assistance in understanding how to cancel an enrollment without losing the initial enrollment data. I'm concerned about maintaining accurate tracking of enrollments and cancellations. If we enable users to 'unenroll,' how do we ensure the proper tally of enrollments and cancellations? Any guidance or insights on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

We have an ILT course with one session and event in it.When it was added to a new channel and catalogue an orange warning icon appeared next to the event which displayed ‘External Calendar Synchronisation Warning’ when hovered over.The warning icon has now disappeared, but does anyone know what it might have been triggered by? Or if it is likely to have any knock on effects?

Authenticated as a regular user, I want to get all the courses I have enrolled in and they should include the enrollment status as well.The only alternatives I’ve found are:Using /report/v1/mytranscript (GET). However, for some reason, it excludes courses that are of status “waiting”. Using the unofficial /loki/widget/v1/courses/{user ID} (GET) which is used in the Docebo UI. Is this safe?I know of /course/v1/courses/enrollments (GET), however, this cannot be called by a regular user (it leads to permission denied). This leaves us with no official, fully working, option that I know of.Any help appreciated.

Hi Everyone! Is there a way to set up course expiration dates based on enrollment date? I am trying to set up an enrollment rule where when a new hire is added to a group, they are enroll in a course with 30 days from their hire date to complete the course.Thanks for your help!

The Teams helpfile states that "Only the account that is paired with the Docebo - Microsoft Teams integration can be the organizer of an event."We’re currently in soft launch testing, and as the primary account Admin, I’m currently the only person who is able to manage breakout rooms in Teams and receive the post-event attendance rosters.This is unmanageable in a company of our size. We need trainers to be able to use breakout rooms and track attendance for their events, and we have a lot of them.Is there any way for Instructors to gain access to the organizer functionality without being the paired integration organizer as stated in the documentation? Has anyone found a workaround using the native Teams integration? The only solution we’ve able to come up with is to select Custom Tool in the Video Conference settings instead, and paste the link to the Teams meeting. However we lose benefits of Teams integration - mainly the ability to track Teams events inside Docebo.How are you using

We are in the process of implementing the Salesforce app, primarily to surface our partners’ certification status (done through completion of certification learning plans). Hi all,I need to expire/hide a number of Learning Objects.  I was hoping to use an API for this, I am not very familiar though I think I can feel my way through. The API is asking for the LO ID which I cannot find anywhere in reports, course extract, or a way to batch retrieve via API. There are about 150 LO’s that I want to expire and hide.  How can I source all the ID’s to update via API?  

We have our clients use the same ILT course since they get assigned to the same learning plans. We’d like to organize enrollments based on sessions named after the client. Right now, if there is availability for that session, any learner can see that as an option to enroll into that session. Is there a way to limit the visibility of the session to a specific branch?

It turns out Docebo does not log Test re-take information. So if one of your employees fails a quiz the first time, and retakes it a second time - the results from the first failed attempt are automatically over written. Absolutely unsettling but has anyone solved a work around? Any support or guidance would be appreciated.
