Hi,We are using Docebo for customer training. We sell a software product. The training materials we have developed are hosted in our Docebo LMS.We have two primary ways in which users access the content in our Docebo LMSThe user logs into Docebo The user clicks on a link in our software product that takes them to a lesson in DoceboIs there a way we can generate a report that shows us which users have used #1 vs #2 (and how often)?

I have a course that I would like to hide training materials because the material is older. I want to keep the training intact and not disrupt the learning records or really add another course and force the folks that are working with it to need to remember to report on two courses.Cool...I read up on how to work with hidden training materials and I get this….Hidden MaterialIn the Hidden section, you can flag the option to hide the training material from learners enrolled in the course. This may be necessary if the training material is no longer relevant to your training needs. Perhaps your company has modified its training plan, or you've uploaded new content. In these scenarios, deleting the material from your platform means you will delete all of the tracking data, thus changing the data and status of completion for some users. It may be useful to simply hide the material from learners instead.Additionally, please note that hidden training material will not be counted towards course

We release the same training every year ( but differnet Training Material) I’m wondering what I should do with the active users who didn’t complete last year’s training.  It’s no longer required. I don’t want to mark them complete or unenroll, but i do want them to show up as not having done that course for reporting purposes.  How do you handle repeat trainings with new content, New course each year?

Hi all.Our web certificate expired for one of our portals & the guy who typically handles this is currently away. He was able to give me a bit of info but i’m still lost.He sent the screenshot below as the location to update the certificate:  However i cannot find this page at all. this is the closest i could find: Clearly this is way off. if anybody knows how i can find the area pictured in the first image, please let me know, I’ve been through the entire Admin Menu it seems & still can’t find it.Thanks!Nate

Hey allI have been trying to wrap my brain around this issue for a week or so now. I have been trying to get a userid from a webhook in an HTML learning object so that we can call more data using the “get user’s info” API from the API explorer, but nothing I try works. I am using Marketo to create my webhook and have tried to query the username just for testing and all I get back is ‘ {username} ‘ back. If anyone has accomplished something like this in the past some help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! Does anyone have any tips for providing comments to a user submitted test? It’d be nice to then have those comments added into an email notification via shortcode

I’m now up to 55 channels.  The first 25-30 channels are fine. Everything after that gets messy. If I scroll down my computer lags out while loading the new channels in chrome with 0 other tabs in a fresh instance. I can’t even view anything “after the break” on opera, which technically isn’t supported, but the page is buggy anyway and opera is webkit. I’m on a core i5 gen 12 thinkpad carbon with minimal background apps and tabs (3 apps, 3 tabs). I’m scared to think what will happen when I get to 150 channels in a few months. We’re a large association.

Is it possible to get a URL of a video object in CLOR that can then be called via HTML video player, for instance to be shown on the public catalog page?  I want to be able to show some of our videos that are in our platform on a public catalog page, so people can get a taste of what they will see once they log in.  It seems stupid to have to host those videos somewhere else, like on our company website or other paid hosting site, when they are already hosted in Docebo.  We can get a URL for objects in the CLOR via API call, but that address, or token, or something seems to time out after some time, so users who are not logged in (which again, is the whole point), can’t see it.  The URL works long enough to download it once, but not to have it posted on a website permanently.  How can I get a permanent URL for it that will work permanently for a user who is not logged into Docebo?

Hi everyone,I’ve added nice thumbnails to some SCORM modules in my central repository which when added as training material appear in a course I’ve created. My concern is the thumbnails look small and ugly.Is this normal? Can I enlarge them so they match the size you see when viewing modules in the central repository?This is a screenshot of the course on the desktop web browser version of the course. The thumbnails seem very small and I do not believe I have configured my platform to look that way by default. If I search the platform for the training material by keyword I get nice results in the search results and the thumbnails set for those scorm modules look nice.  The course as shown in Go Learn app which looks nicer luckily. 

How do you contact technical support to communicate with internal tech team 

I built out a learning plan using content that was pushed into Docebo from Blue Ocean.The problem: Each article is a lesson but the lesson/activity is showing completed before the article is opened. How can I trigger the completion to be after the article is opened? 

From what I am reading and have experienced, new enrollment rules for a group are only applied to new members as they are added to the group. I have some new learning plans that I want all users in an exising group enrolled in. How can I do that automatically? I need to include both the existing group members and new members? 

Has anyone figured out how to identify your instructors’ Video Conference Account IDs, and how they should be displayed on the .csv file for upload? TIA!

We are looking to add several user fields such as date first trained and date last trained for purposes of reporting and group assignments.These are based on completion of courses. If there a way to have completion of a course or activity populate a user field? OR is there a different way to do this?

Morning morning,So I am a point where I am considering how to pull off escalations in Docebo.And well I know how to get things to Supervisors without much fuss.But here is the question of the day - how do you escalate (within Docebo itself) certain notifications to lets say the supervisor’s supervisor?Does it comes with gotchas?

Hi all,Looking for suggestions from anyone who may have solved for this or can point out something we are missing.What we are trying to do:Prominently display course descriptions to users without forcing them to enroll/start a (optional) course to see it WHILE being able to use widgetsHere are the options that seem to exist, the problem is they have unfortunate limitations based on how Docebo has set up the course player and properties:Enable the “Course Overview Page” which displays the course overview page upon opening (doesn’t require you to enroll/start the course). HOWEVER, if you want to include course widgets like forums, comments, file repository, etc., those display OVER the course description on that page defeating the purpose. Force users to enroll/start a course to be able to see the description by either using the course description widget which then displays at the bottom of the launch/start page, or create an HTML page (first training material) that describes the course

I’m trying to grab a list of courses from the API browser, but I want to try and add a parameter so that it returns only courses with a specific value in a course additional field (that happens to be a dropdown menu). I am trying to use the API: GET/learn/v1/catalog/{catalog_id}One of the parameters is this:Can someone provide a little guidance on if that is the correct parameter to filter for a course additional field?  If so, how do I fill that in appropriately for an additional field that is a drop down?(For example purposes, my field ID number is ‘1’ and the dropdown element is “1” with the text value “Compliance”)

In the branches dashboard, it shows the number of courses that are overdue by branch; in this example a single person has a single overdue course apparently: Is there a way to locate this course assignment and figure out which one it is?  There are thousands of courses assignments to this branch, and it’s likely that ONE of them erroneously had a due date applied, which might now be hassling that 1 customer with notifications that they’re overdue.  I can drill down to the sub-branch that the overdue is on, which gets me down to hundreds of course assignments instead of thousands, but there’s no report that calls out due dates; only assignment dates and completion dates.  How can I find this one “hanging chad” and fix it?

What is the best way to manage duplicate courses? Is there a way to merge two courses and still maintain the sessions/events/enrollments/completions?

Greetings,When setting up an assignment type training material. In both the Instructions and Description there is an option to “Insert File” and “Insert Image.”  What is the difference? Both seem to only allow images. I would like to insert a pdf in the Assignment type training material. Please advise...

I had a question on what is considered a ´”structure change” for a SCORM package in regards to reuploading a SCORM training material and these notices:You cannot change the package structure of this kind of training material. By uploading a new package with a different structure, the training material may not play as expected in the platform.Overwrite current version:Use this option if the new version contains only non-structural changes (e.g.: text or image edits)New version:Use this option if the new version has significant structural changes (e.g.: chapters have been added/removed) We have been making edits to our courses in Rise 360 - primarily the text and videos. It is the same format or lesson and just changing a spelling error or uploading a new video that was already in the lesson but the previous video’s sound quality was poor so we had the trainer re-record it.
