Curious if anyone would like to share their experience on how they solved for prioritizing recommended v. required content for learners in the platform.We have received feedback from groups of more active learners with a large number of cards in their ‘My courses and learning plans’ that it would be nice to have a visual color scheme to differentiate course statuses.  Similar to the idea outlined here: Course cards status formats | Community (docebo.com) In testing, we have found that updating the colors section in advanced settings for ‘Confirmation Messages’ can address this, but also impacts the color of the search bar? We are of the opinion that managing these changes with CSS introduces risk that they will break. 

Is anyone using Captivate for creating their SCORM lessons and using the new UI?The old UI had no issue. With the new UI, if you play the lesson in the default view, it will mark complete. However, if you click the icon to make the player bigger, it will not mark complete.I have this issue in with support but it’s been over a month and they don’t have a reply yet other than saying it’s my Captivate file, which I did extensive testing and don’t believe that is the case, nor can possibly be the case when it marks complete in the standard view.  Is anyone else using Captivate and can replicate this? Learners are frustrated.

Anyone who currently has Coach & Share or is considering purchasing it, please check out the details on the Idea titled - "Invite To Watch" Disable option - where any learner has the ability to send mass notifications to ALL learners in your platform. There is no way for us to disable this feature, so if you are using Coach & Share and not aware or are considering purchasing it, please check out the Idea and upvote it in hopes that we can get some movement to get this changed. I have been previewing the new course player on our system, and I have noticed that it doesn’t seem to work with playlists. At the moment you select a playlist it takes you to the first course and displays a black bar at the bottom of the screen which contain the course list. But when I viewed this in the new course player it just took me to the first course and doesn’t display the bar at all. Is this just because it is a preview, or will the playlist functionality stop working with the new course player?

Since the changes Docebo made in January 2024, we now get errors when trying to use the ‘Send Email’ function. To elaborate: it appears this function is pulling the ‘from email address’ from the ‘user email field’ rather than the ‘email sender domain’ field for our subdomain. We opened a ticket and the response from Docebo was the sender would need to manually update their ‘from email address’ when using this feature which makes this feature too tedious to be useful. It would be helpful if we could configure the default ‘from address’ to match the ‘email sender domain’ without impacting SSO which is based on the apex domain. 

How can I check in the community which ideas have been upvoted by me? I do not mean my own ideas. THANK YOU!

This feedback is regarding the new SCORM player. The new player is too busy. Too many buttons and places to click.It requires more clicks to start a course. Improvements should make it easier to start a course, not more difficult. After clicking the start eLearning button, the user has to click another start eLearning button. The second click is just wasted time and an extra click. Especially since there is still another start/resume button to click after this!The learning plan page header is way too big. The main feature of interest on this page is the list of courses, not the header.The right side of the learning plan page is wasted now. Especially the learning plan details (Does any student need to know the learning plan ID?) The Average time is on the left side above the course list and just duplicated on the right. The “time to complete” information could easily be put on the left above the course list. The progress area takes up too much space and y

Hello Docebo Community, Anyone uses Articulate Rise to export xAPI content into Docebo and is having issues with completion synching in Docebo? This issue is sporadic for us. Some of our learner’s view is 100% on the content side but its not updated on the platform. Any information is greatly appreciated.   

I need to create a field so that when I need to extend a due date on a required course, I can add the reason I’m doing so.  For instance, the user is on LOA.  This way when we go through our annual audits and I’m asked why the date was changed, I’ll be able to give them the reason.Is this done by Additional Field?  How would I go about doing it?

👋🏻 Hello, I am hoping to hear about your experience with Questions & Answers or Comments widget on courses. We are not using these widgets at this time but there have been SMEs inquiring on allowing users to ask questions or reach out via the course to set up 1:1 time. Could you share how you use these widgets? Some of my questions are as follows:How do you monitor the conversation? How is the SME notified there is a question that needs to be answered? Do they just have to check the course regularly? Is the person who asked the question notified when someone answers the question? What settings do you have in place? Where do I go to view the settings for Q&A and comments? Anything I should keep in mind while researching? Any advice on using/implementing the widgets?Of course, any other experiences or suggestion you might have are welcome!!  Thanks community!Courtney 

If we have a SCORM assessment that is marked complete by achieving a passing score, can the maximum attempt limit in the Navigation settings be used to limit the user attempts to that SCORM training material?  Or is the only way to limit attempts is by using an assessment created within the Docebo application?

Hello. It would be great if there were buttons directly on the tabs for Catalog and Learning Plan to “Assign to”, rather than having to click the + icon, then find the option in the dropdown. The Catalog tab would have an “Assign to Catalog” button and the Learning Plan tab would have an “Assign to Learning Plan" button. If you want to leave the options to do this in the Add Button, that’s cool. But at least put the buttons directly on the tab would be great. Saves mouse movement and one less click. See attached.  

Hello All,Wanted to ask if anyone knows of a report or way to pull the deeplinks or URLs for each course?  We have a couple different use cases that this would help use to deploy...but the largest would be just sharing out curated content lists that are focused by topic or skill area to managers to share during team huddles.Thanks for any guidance,Lauren H.

Hi everyone,I’m working on creating visual graphics for a couple learning plans that I have created. They are sort of a hiking pathway visual of here’s where you start, here are your milestones, here’s the order of content involved, etc. I want to display them at the start of the learning plans so learners can see it right away and get a fun, visual idea of what takes place. I am looking for ideas of the best way to do display these. The thumbnail would not display large enough and the LP does not have course page display options that I’m aware of. Any thoughts or ideas are most welcome!   

On reports-----Branches there are 5 tabs.USERS -ENROLLED-COMPLETED-INPROGRESS-NOT STARTED ENROLLED  is the sum of completed+inprogress+notstarted, but USERS.What does the USERS number refer to ? thank you @lrnlab @Bfarkas 

Hi All,I know we have the ideas section, and occasionally a docebo employee will post a reply, but is there anyway of us seeing a definitive roadmap, or getting an official answer on when things will be updated/rolled out?  I see the release radar posts and am also disappointed about how little is being released, or less important things being release, and the big tickets items never appear.  Specifically i would like to know when/if the following things are being released:*optional learning plan courses*ability to retake same ILT course*ability to retake e-learning course but completion date get updated with new date*Ability to renew a course direct from the course page*ability to book on multiple sessions of same course*ability to click through learning plans in ‘my activities’ to see detail*ability to organise notifications in a better way *ability to notify mangers of a staff member booking on a course*ability

Good morning everyone.   I have been talking with a few key people in Docebo and after many conversations it has become clear to me that the Product team is not getting a full picture of what key improvements and features are needed by many of their customers.   I would like to start a Sub group that is made up of a broad range of customers from various markets where we can identify what features and functions we need to have the Docebo team work on.    These can be anything from key functionality to bug fix to filling out partially developed functionality. We would need to come up with a list of things we believe should be worked on and in the order of their importance to the overall platform.  We should put together use cases and benefits.   Once we have this then we should sit down with the development team and explain each one of them and show a fully thought out solution and not just a quick fix. I believe that this will help the Docebo product becom

Hi, i have gone through a process of creating sessions and events via an upload.  I have then created the CSV for Enrolments into those sessions.  Is there any way of marking them as complete (on the correct date of the session/ event) in bulk rather than manually by an event or session at a time?  It is important that the completion date is the correct date.

Is it possible to retrieve from interface which Groups a Learner is part of? I mean not having to browse through all Groups checking if they are or are not there… I see this possibility is quite clear for Branches, as it is also recapped in the “Review” screen while editing a Learner from “Users”, but I could not find an analogous view for Groups.Thanks!

In the My Team view, can there be an option/filter to show just your direct line reports, but also to show your direct line reports subordinates? This would remove the need to click into each managers team to see that teams view, and the option to toggle this on and off. We want to be able to do this without the need for branches to be set up.
