Here is a link to a discussion from years ago regarding making a single course a prerequisite for another course, without the requirement of having the courses in the same learning plan. I am running into a very similar issue. I have a set of courses and a learning plan that should not be assigned to the user until they complete their initial learning plan. I would like a way to set up a rule so the first course is either automatically assigned upon completion of the initial LP, or we can set up the enrollment but it is not available until completion of the initial LP. Has any progress been made in this area?

We have created learning plans for users to enroll in but prefer to keep them in a pending status until admin approval. What is the work around?

How can we set them up as per following frequency?30 ‘calendar’ days before: A gentle nudge to the Learner. 20 ‘calendar’ days before: A firmer reminder to the Learner. 7 ‘calendar’ days before: A notification to both the Learner and their Manager.Thank you in advance!

Many Client’s HR/HSE manager need to download massively all certificates (including those for external training) for:  each course or each user.Has anyone found a solution?Unfortunately, downloading individual certificates for individual users is not a solution for them. Molti referenti delle Aziende nostre clienti hanno bisogno di scaricare massivamente per singolo Corso o per singolo utente tutti gli attestati (inclusi quelli di formazione esterna). Qualcuno ha trovato una soluzione? Purtroppo lo scaricamento del singolo certificato per singolo utente non è una soluzione percorribile.

We had a learning plan connected to a certificate, but somehow it was disconnected and stopped issuing the certificate. I reconnected it so now I can select it for assignment.Is there a way to automatically assign the certificates for those who have completed the learning plan? We have over 200 that need to be assigned.

1. What specific problem or challenge are you facing?*When we look for anything in the Course Management menu, our filters & search criteria are preserved after we go into a course & come back out. This behaviour is not replicated in other menus, for the most part. Currently I am drilling down on a number of users in a branch, & every time I open the summary for that user or log back in as them, I have to navigate back to that branch when I exit & try to go to the next user. This is already a lengthy, process-laden task, & adding this extra step really helps to make this a terrible experience. 2. What outcome are you expecting?I would love to see the ability to preserve search criteria, filters or other navigational factors on all menus within Docebo.3. How will this feature impact your business and/or industry?*This will save a lot of time, in addition to making a lot of processes easier to follow, since i would not have to add additional steps every time i switch

I’m exploring ways to better manage prerequisites for ILT sessions and was hoping to get some insight from the community.We have several ILT courses that require completion of an eLearning prerequisite. Ideally, once a learner completes the prerequisite, we would like them to be automatically added to the waitlist for the ILT course. Not directly enrolled.Currently:Waitlist is enabled on the ILT course However, when using enrollment rules, users are automatically set to “Enrolled” rather than being placed on the waitlistIs there a way to achieve “Waiting users” or “Enrollment to confirm” status with enrollment rule?

Is our organization the only one experiencing this issue where assignment training materials are marked as "completed" even though they haven't been passed yet? Or even after an instructor or tutor marks the submission as failed? Why hasn't Docebo prioritized fixing this, instead of focusing so heavily on AI improvements?

We've started to use the new notification type ‘New ILT Session created’.  But have a couple of frustrations with how this notification works.The schedule for this notification is ‘at the time of the event’.  This is firing as soon as you click ‘create and edit’ on the New session form.  As this is before the event details are set – it is therefore impossible to make proper use of the notification short code ‘{{{session_date}}}’.  As the firing of the notification happens before the event dates are set.  Instead we are using the short code {{session_name}}  ensuring that our session naming convention includes the date of the event.  Has anyone spotted a way to make use of the short code {{{session_date}}}?  There is no option to choose to delay the scheduling of this notification i.e. to allow a buffer between the session details being saved and the event details being added to the session. HelloWe are automatically adding users to a new group based on completing a specific learning plan. When they are in the new group, they will see a new home page. This works very well. However, we also want to automatically remove users from the previous group. Docebo help indicates:We are unable to determine how to configure the conditions that will automatically remove users from the previous group. Has anyone done this? If yes, how was it done?Thank you,

It would be awesome if archived course data for a user would merge over as well when you merge a user with another.  I am unsure why this has never been a thing as you would think you would want all completed course data including archived items when merging.  Please make this a thing. 

In Docebo as I see so far, every user, both regular and super users can add skills and job themselves at the Skills Dashboard. In our solution, we only want to assign that possibility to certain roles. Regular users should not be able to do it themselves; only admins and certain roles will have to do it for them. But I can’t find anything in the settings making us able to restrict the ‘add skills’ and ‘add/change job’ to certain roles. Someone who knows how to do it or have dealt with the same issue before?  

Hi! I have created several surveys in the platform, however exporting the required data has become a challenge. I need to see the users’ information (ID, name, etc.) and their responses by question. Has anyone been able to get all the info in one report? Or what are your suggestions for this?Thanks in advance!

I am a novice (ie I’ve never used it) in Power Automate.  I want to be able to 1) generate potentially thousands of unique, one-time use coupon codes and 2) to be able to read in a .csv from a Microsoft Form to generate custom codes for customers based on options selected in the form.  I understand the api-browser and the calls needed (I think), but I don’t know how to expand this to a flow in Power Automate.Is anybody doing something similar or even just a general PA template I could use as a starting point?

I have videos in Storyline that keep restarting instead of resuming from the saved state. I've set the navigation to "Resume saved state" and tested the course with the player options set to "Prompt to Resume" and "Always resume." Additionally, I've changed the export options to SCORM 2004, both 3rd and 4th Editions. We have too many videos and lack the bandwidth to edit several courses into smaller sections across multiple slides. Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

I’ve created an ILT with a single session, that contains 4 events. All of the events are on the same day, one after another at different times. On the course enrollment page, the events are listed in the correct order from top to bottom, with the earliest event at the top and the latest event at the bottom. When a user enrolls in the course, they receive a notification email with all 4 events listed, but they are in a seemingly random order. (Course page, correct order): How can I edit the order of the events in the notification email? I am currently using shortcodes in my email, but I don’t see a way of editing this besides manually writing the notification without the use of shortcodes. It would be very helpful if there was a feature enhancement that would enable a Google Drive Google Slide to be not marked as complete until the user actually goes through the deck.The reason is, our organization uses google slides for our training materials and rather than running into version control issues and downloading/uploading pdfs every time there is a small content change, that integration would enable us to have all changes immediately reflected in course.The trouble is of course for important topics like confidentiality, having the activity completed message pop up before they have actually read through anything raises risks that force us to use the slide converter option instead. Thanks!

Hello. Our CQA team found an inaccuracy during the risk assessment and needs to document the reporting process for our qualification activities (see below). I can’t find a name, email, etc. at Docebo that serves this purpose. Does anyone know? The V3.0 date under change history is 05 Oct 2024.

Whenever I upload a new version of a SCORM file, the system prompts users to retake the course since it’s treated as a new version. However, this isn’t always necessary—sometimes the update is as minor as replacing a video, and learners don’t need to retake the entire course.Because of this reset, learners who simply want to revisit the course are being forced to start over due to the completion restrictions that prevent skipping sections.Is there a way to allow learners to revisit the course without having to retake it from the beginning?

Hello, Docebo Community! 😊I am inquiring to see if uploaded images in a test can be clickable by the learner in the LMS as part of the test-taking process. For example, to answer a question, they would click on an image with various fields, such as name, address, date of birth, etc., and select the field on the image as their answer to the question.  I would appreciate any responses that would help confirm whether this functionality exists. Thank you,Marla Beaulieu

We have a particular issue with 1 eLearning course that an external provider has created for us.  It's a simple eLearning course with some videos to watch and some text and graphics on a series of slides. The slides are supposed to complete when the learner scrolls to the bottom of the screen and clicks Next, however when the user gets the the last slide, only the final slide shows as complete.  The course will only show as In Progress in a learner's training record.  The only way round this that I've found is to zoom in and out of each slide - it's like all the content isn't fitting properly onto the screen. This has been tried in Chrome, Edge and Safari browsers on multiple devices, but all with the same outcome. Is there a particular setting in Docebo that would fix this at all?  Or is there something I can suggest to the content creator to amend? Thanks

Hello! I’ve been using Docebo for a while, and a lot of it has been learn-as-I-go. I’m now looking to see if there are ways to level up or approach course building differently — especially for more complex training scenarios.My current build is a 2-day training with different outcomes depending on completion:Day 1: Completion grants continuing education credits. Day 2: Is a separate course, and by completing both days, the learner qualifies for a program certification. Ideally, learners complete both days in order and at the same time, but we may need to support make-up sessions (e.g., someone misses Day 1 and wants to take it later).I’m also struggling a bit with the registration workflow. I know I can ask during registration through Enrollment Additional Fields, but I feel like learners don’t always see them. I did see that Eventbrite integration is possible — maybe that could help solve the visibility issue with registration questions or streamline the process? Has anyone used Event

Hi Docebo Community!We have a unique use case where we need our client-side power users to be able to enroll their people to a superadmin-moderated ILT session waitlist, while also limiting their ability to actually enroll the users into the session (thus bypassing the moderated waitlist). When we have the “enroll” permission for ILT Sessions turned on, power users can bypass the waitlist and directly “enroll user in a session” from the standard course enrollment pop-out (manage enrollments → enroll users). However, IF they enroll to the course first, then choose to select a session from the ellipsis menu on the user’s enrollment line, there actually is an option to “enroll to waitlist” that doesn’t exist on the standard enrollment pop-out. We really want to avoid telling our power users “don’t do this even though you can”. Ideally, we would love to have some kind of permissions set that allows them to enroll to the moderated session waitlists while blocking them from fully enrolling u
