In the latest monthly release notes it says“HEADS UP! Course enrollment button visibility update for Power UsersFor those using the Power Users app, please note that starting on August 19, 2021, in order for Power Users to be able to see the Enrollment button for courses,  the profile they are assigned must have both Enrollment and View permissions enabled for courses.”Does anyone know which permissions need to change?  I’ve looked and the options there are not the same as the text above!

Hi All, I am wondering how do you utilise Docebo for an on-boarding/induction training. I want to make a part of the on-boarding training digital and create some e-learning course but also want to mix it with ITLs.  Generally the idea is to assign to each new employee a set of courses which that person has to go through: a couple of eLearning courses and ILTs sessions, in the specific order (so prerequisites will have to be set). I am wondering if there is any way to an ITL sessions once and just use them each time when the on-boarding training will have to be run? So I don’t have to waste time to create the same ITL each time? Do you have any experience with it? if so how did you handle it?

We utilize a public catalog. The public catalog has an easy language toggle at the top for users to quickly switch from English to Spanish.Is there a way to have this toggle inside the platform? If so, I must have turned it off at some point and now I can’t figure out how to turn it back on. I know users can change this within their profile but I wanted this option as well if it is available.Thank you!

Is there a widget to upload a video to for a page instead of using the embed video option? 

Is there a bulk way to select a group of users and a course (or group of courses) and reset the progress? I know it is possible to bulk change the status (In Progress, Not Yet Started, etc.), but I am hoping to bulk reset a course completely for only a group of users. I know this can be done manually by going through a reset on each module for each user, but that is not feasible for the amount I have to process.Thanks for any guidance!

Does anyone have html code/css that would control the left or right margin for text on a widget on a custom page allowing you to have an image to the left or right of a box as shown in my mock up below?I don’t have extensive html/css skills but can cut and paste code into an HTML widget and I do know how to add custom styles to the configure branding and look area.   

When we are creating new sessions/events the event creates without allowing you to type in how early you would like the “join” button to display.  When you go back into the system and update it, the system things you are changing the meeting so it deletes the Zoom Meeting and creates and updated on. This triggers emails telling us our sessions are deleted (which it is set to a shared address). Has anyone found a solution to this? Some of the users getting the emails are not thrilled about it (rightly so), but I have learned to just ignore them. If someone actually ever deleted something I needed, I would honestly probably not even notice! YIKES!

I would like to set the default to the Self Unenrollment option in eLearning (Advanced Properties) to “Allow self-unenrollment from this course” instead of the option that adds “after learner has completed” for eLearning sessions? Has anyone figured out how to do this? Additionally, for ILT I’d like to set the default to “Change Session” same question, is this possible? 

Hi!We are looking for the best way to set up our own community. We are looking in to the option of using the channel option within docebo to do this?Now I see this community and I'm inspired! But to my surprise this is not the Docebo environment?. Why did Docebo choose not to use its own platform to create this community? What are the pro's con’s of using channels within Docebo for a community? Should we also reconsider building our own community within our learning platform of Docebo?Any tips and advice is welcome!HesterLearning ConnectedAmsterdam

Morning!Does anyone know if there’s a way to change the wording of the pop-up notification that users receive when they register? Example below:I know you can go to Localization Tools and find a list of default notifications, but I need to know where I can change these settings so that our users receive the notification we want them to.At the moment they are receiving the default one that asks them to click on a link to confirm registration, but we’re not using this method to load users onto our platform. We’ve gone down the moderated self-registration route whereby the superadmin approves.Any help most welcome.Thanks...Rich

Please forgive me if this question has already been answered, but is there an area in the Community where you can view all of the community members? It would be really great to be able to filter members by industry, company, role, etc. for networking and follow requests.

Our Docebo site is currently available to only registered users. However, we are opening up our site to sell courses to customers, and we have multiple public catalogs displayed on the signin page.  We do not want these catalogs to be accessible to our internal (employee) users. Is there a way to limit accessibility to these public catalogs on the signin page?Thank you,Cheryl

Is it possible to change the sort order of how courses are displayed when setting up the course widget when configuring a page? The only choices available are alphabetical order or date. We want completed coursed to appear at the bottom of the sort order.  

So Im trying to make my notifications more versatile in that I want specific group to receive notifications but not all Superadmins, Power users, managers etc… Am I doing something wrong? An example would be I need Marketing to see when a new course has been updated or added, but I only want their manager to get that notification but not all the managers need said notification (All managers are power users). Halp?your friendly neighborhood Generic Name

Hey all! I have to admit I am excited about Skill Management, but feel like it was turned on “for us” without me having much time to prepare! I got in to start setting up our platform, but found that I already have users assigned to a few of our skills. I’m struggling to figure out how I can identify which staff members have signed up for the skills? Has anyone figured this out yet? I searched in Knowledge Base but can’t find anything about reporting. Thanks for any help you can provide! 

Hi - We have three courses, delivered on three consecutive days. We want to sell these courses individually, but also as a package (we are calling this a boot camp course and when purchasing all three the cost is lower). I’ve created a learning plan and added all three courses. I applied the eCommerce option that allows customers to purchase one or all courses.  This seems to work; however, we offer the boot camp a couple of times a year - so there are multiple sessions for each course.  When choosing a course from the learning plan, I am unable to choose the session.  Is there a better way for me to implement this? 

I was trying to offer assistance to a fellow user by sharing a PHP file containing an API call we make to pull learning objects, when I quickly realized we can’t attach files! I shared a download link instead, which should still do the trick - I know there are likely some technical limitations to allowing files to be uploaded, but I could also see this feature coming in handy as the community grows! 

We have multiple custom html pages associated with our public sign-in page. When clicking on the tabs, the pages appear perfectly; however, the URL remains the same as the platform URL.  Is there a way to link directly (unique URL) to the custom html pages on the sign-in page?Thank you,

I’m trying to see if we can turn off enrollments to an ILT course, but still allow people to get to the course description page.  Currently, enrollment links for our ILTs are on a special page for easy user access.  We still want to have that special page so our users can find those ILT courses and be able to get to the course description to learn about the course, just not be able to enroll in it. I feel like I’m missing some sort of setting.  Any ideas on if that is possible?The reason for this need is because we have discovered an issue where ILT courses that require payment are for some reason allowing users to enroll into them without payment.  We currently have a ticket open for the issue but want a way for our clients to still be able to see the course information without enrolling into the course.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello Community!We are currently working to build out our platform experience, and I have some questions in regards to user experience. Hopefully someone has handled these in the past and can help me out!When we go to our Docebo URL, the “Do you want to open the app” pop-ups comes up. We really don't want this to happen as the user experience is bad, and even when you clock “Open” it says “Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid”. It prompts a second time after successfully logging in. Is there a way that we can stop this from popping up? Some helpful insight, we also won’t want to use the app because we are building a multi-platform experience with one part being Docebo, so opening the Docebo specific app would not be ideal even if the link worked.

Hey all! I received a question from another Docebo User (who hasn’t yet received access to the Community) this morning and I wanted to post to the community to see if I could find her an answer! Is there a way to give employees the option of attending a classroom session OR an eLearning to fulfill the same requirement? The use case is they have safety training that was conducted in the classroom in the past, but now it’s eLearning. They don’t want to put people in the eLearning if they have already completed the face-to-face session. How do you all manage this?
