We got so deep into working with the Custom Report builder to find out….that because we are not on an enterprise plan? We cant run a scheduled report? I am sorry folks - the UI seems horribly deficient in this case. I only figured this point out by hitting my head against the wall and trying to schedule over and over again to find out that it is not me or the UI, but then I went to go read about why I kept on getting an error to finally surmise our level of licensing does not match the function? Something should be done here…tell us right on the page that this option is not available to us - dont allow us to try something to find out it wont work until we read up about it or go onto DU - this needs to seriously change.And then? There are suggestions to migrate our reports that can be scheduled...to the new custom reports builder?…ha!Sorry - has anyone else learned this one the hard way as well? Is it only me?Seriously bummed...someone tell me that I am doing something wrong with this.

We are about to launch Docebo in our company, and are trying to think of creative ways to implement different contests and strategies to encourage a high level of user engagement. We know that there are gamification and forums that can be used, but were also interested in using polling.Does anyone know if there is a ‘Polling’ feature available in Docebo? Note: We have not added the ‘Discover, Coach, and Share’ feature yet.Thanks!

Hi everyone,in august product update notification we can find an update to the timespan for SSO tokens generated to grant authentication for users logged in a third party service, as we do have.When you need to create a token to grant that authorisation, though, there are actually TWO tokens:First, you need an admin login to be allowed to make the API call for the user’s login (first token) Then you create the token used in the URL to make the user login (second token).Which token will be impacted by the change?Thank you to those who can help me.

Howdy folks,Have you ever played Hide that Header with CSS?Well - I have a situation where I need to hide the header to avoid having some folks seeing that search bar and left hand hamburger menu….I need to give them the one page and the most vanilla experience possible.It is only for a specific page - and I have learned how to adjust the css for a page by working with the page ID.But if you have pulled this off? And are open to sharing it? Can you let me know how you have been hiding the header? Happy to mark you for the correct answer PS - I do know there is a function for replacing the entire header with something else….that is when I grow us up and can afford to have a sandbox of a site.

Hi - with a series of small golives, I will be turning on a branch to be supported by the SSO. Yay. So thats great. BUT on the other hand, a few people have run into a pw reset dialog with their first login….which doesnt make great sense. Is there a way to disable that step for an entire branch for many users that were already created????Someone has to have just lived through this….

Does Docebo offer seamless authentication when accessed from an SSO’s identity provider?  I have searched for this, but was unable to find anything in the support documentation or in other community posts. For example, let’s say my site xyz.com is the SAML SSO identity provider for Docebo.  When my users log in to xyz.com, I have a link that points them to my Docebo platform.  However, even though they have already authenticated on my site, they are still required to hit the SSO login button when Docebo loads.  Is it possible to configure Docebo to seamlessly authenticate from the identity provider, so a user is automatically logged in to Docebo when they access the Docebo link from my site? We have other vendors who provide this functionality, so I’m hoping Docebo does, as well.   Thanks!

Hi everybody,I’m wondering if there is a best practice (or best LX) for multilanguage courses or learning contents.For example, if I have the same content available in multiple languages, should I rather create one course for each language (increasing exponentially the elements to maintain) and make them equivalent with respect to LP’s, or gather the whole collection of contents in a single course where the learner chooses their language as in a folder?The best outcome would be the platform to show the learner only the content in their language (as the platform renders), while right now we have some courses with the “language folders” and some other where content editors have a lot of manual work maintaining.Is there a best practice by Docebo? Otherwise, what compromise should we choose?Thank you very much.Mauro

What are some different ways you all use Categories? Previously I used them as a way to organize our courses and a way for our users to search the subject they wanted.I recently turned our categories in to catalogs and turned off the categories. I was told a lot of users use the categories for back end use. I was just curious is some of you can show me how you use them that may also be beneficial to us.Thanks in advance!

Ok - this may be cake - but I figure go about checking on this one with the community before I deploy. I figure someone else can benefit from seeing an order of operations to deploy to a message to a group.My goal | deploy the activation message purely to those within a group in as few steps as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot see a way to target a group from the users tool for doing a “group push”, so I think this exercise will need to be done via the csv upload.Setting the stage, I have had a series of smaller go lives, and I want to effectively go live with a group that is already part of the user base and assigned a branch.Here is the order of operations that I can dream up:Develop said group in excel or directly in my instance. Activate the group as manual OR automatic to achieve the desired “moving forward” business. Upload a csv or add metadata parameters to the system to isolate my group automatically going forward. Download the grouping via the download csv function in tools.

Hi,Does anybody know how we can set up in certification and retraining courses and learning plans that need to be taken annually and require payment being taken again?At the moment I’m lost on how we can achieve this - we have everything set up in certification and retraining but when the learner clicks ‘renew’ now they bypass the payment and are able to complete the learner again for free.Appreciate help/advise on this.ThanksAnt

I’ve tried everything on my end but can’t seem to figure out how to solve this custom css issue and was hoping someone else here might have figured out a solution?We have a custom home page with the page title/description graphic (the one that shows an icon, page title, and description text in a white background just below the header) hidden via a custom style. Below that, we have a logo with a margin-top style assigned with a negative value to get the logo to be a little higher on the page. Without the margin-top: -50px assigned there is a big gap between the logo and the header.This works perfectly in Chrome/Edge (I blurred out our logo but the placement is right):But Safari seems to ignore it completely (see below). I’ve Googled the heck out of this but cannot figure out a workaround. Any css gurus have any ideas? I’ve tried using padding, margin, etc. in all sorts of ways to no avail. Notice the large gap between the header and the logo - this happens only in Safari:

I saw a post about tracking emails sent out from the platform but is there a way to see if the Learner received a notification on the platform? Is there any type of a log?  I would appreciate any thoughts on this one...this ties into emails because we aren’t confident the Learner is receiving those either.Thanks,Tim 

More fun with Deep Links.  They don’t work within an HTML widget within Docebo.  Docebo strips the deep link.I added an Image widget to a page and linked it to a course. In Go.Learn it then opens the course in the browser on my phone, it actually leaves Go.Learn to open the course!So I went back to the drawing board and created an HTML Widget thinking I’d actually control the code and provide 2 options (one in the site, one on the phone). Docebo actually strips the HTML of the href!These Deep Links just don’t deliver when needed!  Frustrated.Is there any widget type that would allow me to use a golearn deep link?

I need to create courses so that when the content is launched it uses a URL and takes the user to a 3rd party site where the content is hosted.  In my previous experience I could link a URL as content so that when the content was launched from the course in LMS, it took user to the destination via the URL.  I don’t see that ability with Docebo.  I could put a link in the description, but then we lose all tracking and completion info. Has anyone else done this?  Am I just missing something?

@Adam Ballhaussen , I am looking to add comments widget to courses. But, I would like to hide them or be able to moderate them before it’s open for view. Is there anyway I can achieve this? I would also love to hear any alternatives to this from those who are using such feedback widgets. With gratitude- Susmitha

Hello Community. So I have to renew my SSL certificate for my custom domain for the first time. I am not very technical so this process is not entirely clear to me so I came to the experts for help. Do I understand the steps correctly:Download the cert files for the renewed certificate Under Advanced Settings, under HTTPS, click to Remove Certificate I then reupload the new cert filesI am assuming the system will be down the minute I remove the certificate. As such I plan to do it off peak hours. Does anyone have a more formal procedure for this type of system maintenance?Thanks!  

HI All,  We have just launched our Docebo platform and as part of our reporting procedures we would like to know the date a user first accessed the system. We can find last access but that doesn’t tell us how many individual people have logged on to the system for the first time since we launched.If anybody knows the answer, please put us out of our misery.Thank youPhilippa & Lorraine

Hi everyone,I’m after some advice on how to configure a series of ILT webinars with recordings with a few complexities to the configuration.In Oct I will have close to a 1000 people attend a webinar on a specified date, picking the appropriate one for their area out of 8 to pick from. The enrol, attend the session which will be using Zoom through the LMS. If they missed it and were enrolled they can watch back the recording later.I also need people that didn’t enrol in their area webinar session to be able to watch the recording back and receive the same completed status as attending. My understanding is that it is not possible for someone that did not enrol in the session to watch a recording uploaded back into the place of the “Join Webinar” after the webinar has been held. Kind of makes sense.At this stage I have a ILT  course with 8 zoom webinar sessions for different areas configured. I will save the recordings of those sessions and upload them to the respective spots for each ses

I’m looking to generate a report that could provide completion statistics on each module within our courses. For example, Bob has completed Modules A, B, and C in Course 1, but he has not completed Modules D-H. Bob has also completed all of Course 2. Is there a way to pull a report like this that could be exported (preferably into excel or a CSV)?I’ve found how to report on completion at the course level, but have not been able to find a way to pull a more granular report without going into each user’s record for that course and estimating based on percentage complete, which would be a manual and time consuming process for the number of users we have.  

We have a strong need to have managers/ or power users self enroll a user/learner from the MY Team page into a specific session of a ILT course. We know the user/learner can self enroll into a session but can we get a manager/power user to do this? In power user permissions, in the drop lists, it distinctly says sessions not just courses. Maybe it’s the language that confuses me? Since is says ILT Sessions. Thank you in advance for any information on this. 

We have setup a number of custom email notifications, all in English (US). It recently came to my attention that some of our learners who have set their profile language to one other than English are receiving the notification emails but translated to their native language. I did some digging around and am seeing that some notifications automatically send a different email, provided by Docebo, based on their language. An example of this is the “User has been created (confirmed registration)” notification. If you create one of these notifications you’ll see that Docebo provides the email subject/body for all 36 languages, and there is no way to disable specific languages for this notification without disabling the languages completely via the Localization settings. But that also disables the UI translations, which we’d like to keep. Notice that this is for all languages, but we only want the English version sent as it contains specific instructions.Is the only workaround for this to cop
