Audit Trail - Notifications

How to access NOTIFICATION audit trail data from 2021?  I need to pull the Audit trail for notifications for the last 12 months. I am running the Audit Trail report with 60 day timeframe since we can only do 90 Days at a time. I can only gather info from 2022 - nothing from 2021. Notifications Selected from Filter Settings: Notification has been created Notification has been updated Notification has been deleted

Downloading an Attendance Sheet as PDF in Landscape format

Hello Everyone,Is there a way to configure Attendance Sheets to download in Landscape format rather than Portrait? The Attendance sheet layout appears to be in Landscape format when viewed online, but seems crammed together when downloaded as a PDF in Portrait mode.If anyone has come across this and can help, please let us know.Thanks, Pat

Delaying enrollment into courses

Has anyone ever been able to set up a delayed enrollment into a course?  For example, we want new hires to complete a course, but not until the end of their second week. Thoughts?

ILT Sessions - Line Manager able to view details?

Hi EveryoneIs it possible for line managers to see the actual date(s) when an ILT session is scheduled to take place for a member of their team?The User Personal Summary shows when the person was enrolled on the ILT session but doesn’t state when the ILT is scheduled to take place. Many thanks

Self-Enrolling into Courses from Channels

Hi everyone, I’m Roberto Moscatelli from the Docebo Support team and I would like to share something about Self-Enrolling into Courses from Channels. Currently it’s possible to self-enroll into courses that have the “enrollment policy” set to “free” also in channels, and not just in catalog pages.To do this, you need to enable the “Show courses where users can self-enroll in channels”in the Admin Menu-Advanced settings-Channels:  The other “must condition” to see those courses in the channels is that learner must have the visibility on at least one catalog the course is assigned to, otherwise they will not see those courses in the channel page. Enabling this option, learners can also filter the courses included in channels using the Show only courses in which I'm not enrolled filter in the Enrollment Status filter area.  Notes to remember: learners cannot see learning plans available for self-enrollment in channels courses “under maintenance” are not shown in channels courses impor

Quiz Data

It turns out Docebo does not log Test re-take information. So if one of your employees fails a quiz the first time, and retakes it a second time - the results from the first failed attempt are automatically over written. Absolutely unsettling but has anyone solved a work around? Any support or guidance would be appreciated.

Missing something- Creating org structures and adding user

I have a platform where some students will report to academic coaches and academic coaches report to admins. I have the following:Branches == internal users (current state within a school district) and branch external users for future state with students outside the school district. There are 3 lesson plans, and one course that is outside a lesson plan. The lesson plans == grade level and will be available to all students, the course will only be available to students who report to a coach. Additional fields for students to select what grade they are in, so they get enrolled into the corresponding lesson plan. Moderated enrollment turned on (flexibile to change this if this doesn’t make sense) What I am having a hard time piecing together is:Is there a better way to automatically enroll students into their corresponding grade?This came to mind because I am also trying to figure out how to do the same for coaches. Currently, I have an additional field that for High School Jr. that enrol

"Homepage" to access multiple branches

Hi, I am about to be developing multiple new branches for various lines of products that our company has - for example dairy, plant based, protein etc… lets say there will be 5 branches. Some of the users will need access to for example all of them and some to dairy and plant base - 2/5. Would it be possible to create something like a homepage to see overview of the branches and then select the one you want to see learning content from as a “subpage”? This way I could assign the user the one he/she needs without manually re-assigning them just to see other content. Or what do you think would be the best solution to go about this? Thanks for the suggestions and help.

A 4 o clock on Friday - anyway that you can copy a docebo content partner training material?

I know that Friday kinda feels like the next Saturday out in the world - but has anyone with Docebo Content request their content provider to push a copy of a course because they use it for annual activities? Like a Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention course?????I am running into training materials that are in the central repository acting as a shared resource...so it forces a once and done across all courses with the training material.

How to find unique IDs in Docebo Learn via the User Interface (UI)

Hi everyone, Roberto Moscatelli from the Docebo Support team here and I want to speak a little bit about some IDs that you can find directly using the UI. There is more than one reason why you need these IDs: for example you need them to make some API calls. Here below you can find the easiest way to retrieve IDs directly on your platform. Retrieve User_id You just need to go to Admin Menu-User management and search for your user:  Then open the network tab:In order to access the browser console, you can simply right-click any element of the page and select "inspect"; then in the following window select the network tab Now just click on the 3 dots right to the username and select “Edit”. The User_id will appear at the bottom left in the network tab:  Retrieve Course_id You just need to go to Admin Menu-Course management and search for your course.Then click on the course and you can find the course_id in the URL:   Retrieve Session_id If your course is an ILT course, just select the co

ILT Attendance

Does anyone know if you can set completion for ILT by attendance time? It seems weird it could mark someone complete if they join and and then leave. Does Docebo even have the capability to track time in a live session?We host really large training sessions so hard to keep track of each individual. If we can’t track by time, do you all have best practices to help mark complete only if they attended the full session?

Launching Docebo - Let's hear your tips!

We are SO close to launching our Docebo instance. While I’ve been hustling behind the scenes giving sneak peeks whenever possible, we are going to need to launch the product company-wide. We have offices in 7 countries and everyone is fully remote.We have a solid plan for training on the product, but we really need the messaging and marketing around deployment. Our big challenge: our soon-to-be former LMS was not inspiring or remotely user friendly from a browsing perspective.How did you launch your LMS? How did it go? What would you have done differently? Time Tracking Inconsistencies in Docebo

My organization has an initiative for 2021 to drive training - both inside of Docebo and out - by making training hours a part of everyone’s quarterly bonus objectives.However, the more we use Docebo, the more we are finding that the nuances of time tracking vary widely depending on the type of training (Courses, Classrooms, External, etc.) as well as the type of course material (video, SCORM module, etc.).For example, we had a learner recently take a course with a 5 minute SCORM module and leave their tab open (we assume).  They ended up getting almost 260 hours of Total Time for this.I have proposed that we use the course Average Time or even Credits (CEUs) to report on time tracking for the bonus metric but it has not been a popular idea amongst our Super Admins.Has anyone dealt with this in Docebo and, if so, how has your organization decided to handle training time that’s real vs. a nuance of a tab or module?Thank you in advance for any ideas!!

Using E-Signature for policy compliance

Hi! We have a need internally to acquire e-signatures for a policy. We currently use e-sig for a portion of our onboarding, and our legal team provides us language for the e-signature. But we haven’t exclusively created a course with a policy & e-signature solely for compliance purposes.Does anyone do this? Any feedback or ideas?

How to track all courses?

Does anyone have some creative setups for reports that helps you track all of your courses?With a new director in L&D, we wanted to get a one-shot report that had all courses and specific data points on each. Found out that there is no pre-built report for this, so we had to get creative.I did a report for all courses with enrollments (which of course means courses without enrollments are ignored), and then removed all of the duplicate enrollments to funnel it down to each individual course.

PowerPoint with links

Hi,  I’m looking for an easy way to share a PowerPoint or pdf with links. I don’t want the user to have to download the file, I can use Storyline 360 to create a clickable version and upload it as a scorm file but for longer documents that takes ages. I know the slide converter is being looked at to add links in it. But has anyone found a work around, for example using the html page in the training?

Less than elegant | Tracking Multiple Quiz Attempts Recipe

Good evening everyone - now that I got a little bit of breathing room, I wanted to do a write up on a method to track multiple attempts using a third party tool. This is a slimmer use case that the use for a course that needs multiple attempts to support recurrence patterns (the same course every year for example)….it is more about tracking multiple attempts at a quiz effectively.EasyGenerator is one of the more unique authoring solutions out there today because at its core? It is running a learning record store. To remain compatabile with learning systems, it supports a SCORM wrapper export to SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 and the scoring options allow you to configure interesting scenarios. It does not say it nearly as technically as I just said it - it has an export option to “basic SCORM flavors” is probably the best way to put it. As a person takes the course and is being scored against it? The LRS is actually storing the answers in its “gradebook”. And yes - it will store the multiple

Does anyone successfully use the Newsletter Function? If so could you send me your layouts/templates? I’m nervous about using it, but we are in desperate need of an update going out with all the info and would love sending it from the platform. From what I understand there are not previews or historic tracking on them, does that keep most of you from using it? I’d love to chat about this feature! Let me know what you think...good or bad!

Using Zoom for a vILT

We are wanting to utilize Zoom for vILT (video Instructor Led Training) on our Docebo platform. We tested it today and it seemed to work fine - we started the webinar at the correct time, our team was able to click the JOIN WEBINAR button and it launched the Zoom meeting successfully. I was hoping that the Zoom window/stream would be embedded in Docebo, like a video player on a webpage, as opposed to launching Zoom and taking them out of the Docebo platform.Is there a way to embed the actual Zoom meeting into the Docebo platform? Or does it only launch the Zoom meeting through the Zoom app? Are there other video conferencing apps that do embed into Docebo?

Best Practices for Offering Content to External (non-employee) Learners

Hello, Docebo Community!My organization launched our LMS at the start of the calendar year, with our employees and contingent workers gaining access to the platform via OKTA SSO.  We’re now weighing our options for, and trying to understand the work involved in, offering content free-of-charge to individuals outside of the company (i.e., customers).For anyone who has their platform built for both employees and external customers, I’m interested in hearing about your experiences with setting it up and the lessons learned you’ve encountered.  For example, are you utilizing the extended enterprise app, how are you managing external users gaining access to the platform, etc.?  Thank you in advance for your insights!

Learning Plan Notifications

When enrolling users into a learning plan, they get a notification that they have been enrolled. However, they also get several other emails that they have been enrolled to other courses (that are already part of that learning plan). It gets confusing for the user...but also for the admin because we have to remember to turn off the other user is enrolled in course notification so that they don’t receive a bunch of emails. It would be great if in the future the system can recognize and send one email that they have been enrolled into a learning plan and not send out the other separate course notifications.
