I’ve been tasked with adding an assessment to a course that will all staff to select if they: Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree with a particular statement. However, no matter what they choose I need to assign a points value and give each answer points of 0-4. Then at the end I need it to give a total score. I can’t figure out a test option that will make this work. Also note, each question the points values for those four options will be different. So on the first question Agree may be worth 1 point, but the very next question agree could be worth 4. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated! 

Anyone know to download and use a custom font in an HTML widget?  I can obtain both an html link and @import for CSS, but can seem to find a place where I can add them to the header or style sheet.

Hi ,i have a drop down with two custom options. I want to assign a default value during user creation.i am using /manage/v1/user API. and my additional field object is like this."additional_fields": {"11": "1"} i also tried with setting up the actual value "additional_fields": {"11": "my custom option 1"} how do i set a default value for a drop down  

Is there anyway to hide the breadcrumbs entirely on a specific course page? My new starter onboarding is very step by step and I don’t want them clicking on “My courses and learning plans” in the breadcrumbs at the top of the course page. However, I do want that available for normal users on normal courses.

Can anyone tell me, as a non-admin/power user, what will following a channel do? I logged in as a user, clicked the follow button, what can I expect to happen by doing this?ThanksMichael

Hi, I’m looking to confirm what I think may be the case and expected behaviour.We have a catalogue widget showing two courses; let’s say they are:Code: “b. ECOMM”   Name: “Courses for purchase” Code: “a. FREE”     Name: “Members’ Area”We prefer the “Members’ Area” to show first. We set the widget’s default to sort alphabetically on the catalogue code, which works as desired when logged in.For visitors who may wish to create an account and purchase a course but still need to, the widget defaults to sorting alphabetically by name. I’m guessing this is because the widget controls don’t kick in until the visitor has created an account, but I just wanted to check with more experienced admins before I started getting creative with course names.Thanks!

Why aren't the course names appearing when you try to use the ‘enrol to course’ feature?  Impossible to use like this.

Hello, I created an ILT that has several e-Learning modules loaded into the “training material” section. How do I run a report of who has completed it? I don’t want the learner to be marked as complete until both the attendance at the ILT and the e-Learning modules are done. I realize I likely have to do that part manually.

I am curious about the format of the study guide a list of documents with links vs. using Docebo to create a study guide with one or more learning plans.While I like the background information a 58 page document is not inviting. There are links to training in this document but it would be so much better if there were links to Learning Plans for each section. Then I would be able to enroll in the learning plans and track my progress on Docebo U. Simply this reads like a training blueprint/design that has not been developed into a learning exerience. 

I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to use preferred name in notifications. We do have a field for this for all users.  I tried [user_preferred_name] and [preferred_name]. I hunted around here for a bit and seems like its not possible but thought I’d check.Thanks!

I am being asked to create a new tracking, measurement and reporting component in our LMS that sounds very much like skills. I am going through Docebo University and the forums and finding myself with more questions than answers. Does anyone have any examples or resources they can share? Thanks in advance

Good morningI have just noticed that when I access one of our live learning (ILT) courses (that has many sessions) the course instructors area shows all instructors including those that have now left the business and therefore are inactive in Docebo. Is there a way to remove these people from the course instructors details?  Thanks Lucy 

Hi.  We do 90% ILT Classes.  We don’t want our learners to access the training material before the class.  They are expected to complete the material during the class as guided by the instructor.  How can I gate the training material so that the learner cannot access it ahead of time?  Right now, I have learners that are going in and trying to complete assignments as soon as they enroll into the course.  And, they are “failing” the assignments because they haven’t had any instruction.  Thoughts?  Have I missed a setting somewhere to appropriately structure the ILT workflow?  Many thanks.

Hi,While I am a decent LMS admin, I am a novice when it comes to automation. I always struggle getting started. Here’s a use case that I can’t seem to find “the first step” … after authentication, of course.Use case:Learner enrolls in LMS (self-registration) and completes an assigned learning plan. The whole learning plan must be complete before anything else can happen. When the learning plan is complete, authenticate to “System ID” Create a unique ID that combines 3Letters_UserUnique ID. Define the date 90-days out Send a post to generate a new ID (randomly generated number) with the unique ID + 90-day date “Snag” the resulting new ID Post that new ID back to the LMS account it came from into a designated Additional field.What do I do when I can’t find things in the api-browser or webhooks events that match the steps in my use case? Like, how does the automation get triggered when the LP is complete? Or how does it build this unique ID and date that I need to pass over to the other p

How can I make the location of a hybrid ILT session on My Learning both a classroom and a meeting link so they have the option of joining in both formats depending on preference? This will be an extremely large event which means we will not be able to get large enough rooms for all to attend in person so we would like to present them with an option and to be able to receive RSVPs to invites in line with these options so we can collect the data on the LMS. Failing that, what do you think the best way to approach this might be?

Hello all,I am making use of the POST /manage/v1/user/send_mail User API operation with the following request body:{ "id_user":xxxxx , "subject": "Test", "message": "Hello\nWorld\n"}The email is send successfully to the user but all formatting (in this case the \n characters) are ignored!  This is what the email looks like: Any idea how (or if it is possible) to preserve the formatting? Cheers,George

Hello All,Can anyone tell me if it is possible to not show the ‘xAPI (TinCan)’ label from under lessons in the course player? I can’t seem to see a setting for it anywhere in Manage Courses.  

I’m wondering if it’s possible to add the users’ supervisor as a field in a custom report? We send out overdue training reports to supervisors in mass, and want to provide a quicker, easier way to find their team members as they sometimes manage across departments.
