We run a blended learning course where we mix e-learning, webinars, and even assignments outside the LMS.Since we first heard of observation checklists, we figured it could be a great way to track our learners progress on some tasks. But no matter how much we fiddle with the settings and read the knowledge base articles, we can't really figure out how to work the observation checklists into our workflow. I would love to hear from you all how you use observation checklist in your trainings. Who fills them out? How do you initiate them? Who reviews them and when? Do you link them to ILT courses? I have figured out how to create observation checklists, I just haven't figured out how to use them in any practical way. 😄 In case anyone is curios, here's a bit more detail of our setup (major TL;DR warning): We offer a two-week product training for our distributors and partners. Hi Docebo community, Probably like most companies that use Docebo Learn system, we have setup the Branche structure in the same why our organisation is organized. Where at the lowest level is the actual the place a learners works. In our case these are over 3000+ retail stores across Europe. But we struggle with adding additional information with regard to these stores. For example we want add an adress, contact informatation etc. to the store. As a work around we now add this kind of information via additional fields to the user, but this is very unlogical and provides a lot of work and when users move within the branche this data has to be edited everytime. Do any of you have the same struggles and maybe a nice workaround for this problem?Thank you for your support.Kind regards, Bart 

Is it possible to upload a set of default thumbnail images that everyone in the platform can see in addition to the ones provided by Docebo? Based on current settings available it seems that you can either only let Power Users see images that they’ve uploaded themselves or give them access to see ALL the thumbnails that have been updated. I would like to provide a custom list of about 15-20 internally branded thumbnails to let all power users choose from.

Hi all,When editing a user, is there any way to make them the manager of all the users in a particular branch? I may be missing something, but it looks like you can only select the team members one by one. I know it’s possible to go into the branch, select all the users, then edit them collectively to set their manager, but I think it would be more intuitive if you could select the branch with one click in the following Team Members screen. 

Hi.  A little help please … I’ve uploaded a SCORM file as part of my training material.  I would like the material to be marked as complete as soon as someone opens/accesses this file.  I understand I need to make it known to the learner that they need to click on a “close/exit/submit” button.  Where is this button?  Thanks

Morning CSS hackers….a question that I thought I would not have to tackle for a little but is being driven by more and more inquiries by our managers after some training on the My Team view….Folks are getting antsy about the Expired Date shown in the summary.For things that are not leveraging roaming certifications but a deadline was issued? It is gonna get people nuts...and I can see us answering it forever…...OR…..can the row Expired Date be hidden with CSS????? Have you tried tackling it? @gstager - that magic inspector of yours (just kidding)...has it looked at trying to refine that one?

I am trying to figure out how to have my eLearning course training material automatically play.  Is there a way to do that?  I have a mixture of materials. Module 1 - xAPI materialModule 2 - VideoModule 3 - xAPI material

Is there a way that completed courses can revert to ‘in progress’ status when new materials are added?We have started to experiment with using Docebo as a repository for important compliance materials, which we store in courses as learning materials.  We chose to use Docebo for this so we could automate reminders and check completion easily through reporting.The problem arises when we have to add new compliance documents or update current documents.  The courses maintain their completed status, so any reminders for updates will not be sent as they are linked to completion.  It also appears to the user that there is nothing more to download.I know I can update this manually, but we’d like a way for it to be automated.Thanks in advance

Hi all!New to posting but have been lurking for a couple months. We have several Power Users who want to be able to see what everyone is doing globally. Ideally they would like to edit their own courses (assigned to them by location), but also view everyone else’s. Is this possible? 

Hello.I want to create an application via API to update the course completion date.On the home page, I will create box with a link to access this application.Is there a possibility for the user to connect to this application via SSO? In other words, through Docebo's LMS credentials, be able to connect to this external application.Does anyone have a similar experience?Thank you.

Hey all!Wondering if anyone has used CSS to try and hide the channels tab (under course management) from Power Users? Not sure if this is possible but if it is, would love any input if people have tried it thus far! 

Happy Friday and howdy - as we come up on our implementation anniversary (only a year ago, our contract was still drying) I wanted to make sure I understand a best practice with training materials as we are scrambling less and beginning to document practices for others on the team.Let’s say you have a SCO that was imported as a training material. It is the only learning object in the course. Is it implied that “it” controls (the completion criteria of the SCO itself) is what is controlling the completion of the course shell?Lets go one step further and say that all of our courses are leveraging an HTML page that talks through a getting started piece of text and covers how to get the course to go to completion. Is it now that much more critical to ensure that the SCO is marked as the end marker?’What I am getting at - should we alway mark a SCO with as the end marker if we tend to be a SCO to a Course (1:1) kind of shop?

Hello, community,Does anyone have any Widget or CSS hacks that actually display the course due date in the course itself? Once a user is in the course, there is no communication to them that the course has a specific due date. Many users leave the tab open and shuffle it into their open tabs, others don’t notice the due date on the course card on the home page. Any suggestions to help improve visibility for the all-important due date? Thanks!

Dear community;I have created two learning plans LP-A and LP-B and between these 2 LP’s there are two courses that do not belong to any learning plan ( topics are completely different)    I want users follow the learning path ( above ). They need to start with LP-A  and finish all the courses  to continue with Course 1  and so on, I want to restric access to the courses unless they complete them in the right order, but I dont want  to link them in a single learning planHow can I Prerequisite Learning plans with the  courses without creating a learning plan ?I waant a learning path, not learning plan 

Hello everyone!I have a quick question about certifications: I created a new certification today and attached it to an existing course, and I noticed that the certification was not awarded to people who had completed the course before I attached it.Is this expected behaviour? Is there a way to award the certification to everyone who has completed the course, regardless of when they completed it?Thanks to everyone here - I’ve learned so much from this community!

Howdy!  We are trying to limit the view of courses for our interns and contractors. I figured the best way to do that is to use the catalog feature. You can see the Platform Science Content link that we have to click to see all the content.  So we have 2 groups created and 2 catalogs. However when we go to the catalog section of Docebo we have to click the catalog vs all the courses just displaying and there are additional courses showing for some reason even though everything had been added to catalogs.  Is there a way to do that?  

Hi - I am wondering if anyone else has encountered the following:we did export to SCORM 2004 we uploaded a rise 360 course that we have been working on for months and it seems to be working….yay we uploaded a change to the rise course that I believe is not structural - just an attachment we chose to overwrite the training material even with test users - the newer training material with the newer attachments are not showing itself in my browsersIf you have encountered it or have any thoughts on what could be going on - I would appreciate any insight. I dont want to spend too much more time on this because it feels silly...but if you have any idea of what could be going on? It will help to talk me down from any concerns.

Does anyone have experience integrating scenarios created with the Scope AR Worklink application into training materials in Docebo? We are authoring augmented reality scenarios using Worklink for servicing our products and figuring out the best way to add them to training.

Hi, I’m relatively new to Docebo and was hoping someone might have dealt with this issue before. Is it possible to be a user (not power user or superadmin) and be able to access 2 different Docebo domains? I thought maybe adding a user to two different branches would solve the issue but it doesn’t look like that is an option anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey folks! I’m looking to create an automatic group for anyone who manages a team. My first thought would be to create a condition set based on employee title containing “manager”.  However, we have titles in our organization that contain “manager” who in fact, don’t manage a team. So it can be difficult to narrow down just people with a team using the above condition set. Any tips or suggestions would be awesome.
